Since Samantha & Grace had some duo material worked up, we chose for them to share as a duo act. Raw emotionally and wanted to share it anyway.
In this video, you'll see Grace is overcome with emotion as she tries to sing about Jesus...such a sweet touching moment for all who were present as we focused on Christ and the upcoming Easter season. Shared at the First Presbyterian Church for Lenten lunch series, in Bartlesville, OK on March 6, 2024.
Back story:
Our band had the joy of being hired to a play a summer festival in our hometown of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, this past summer 2023.
Little did we know we would be opening for up-and-coming Christian artist Katy Nichole! The festival is called OKMOZART & we're sure thankful for Miss Tammy & Miss Mary Lynne for scouting out our band & booking us!
We had the joy of getting to meet Miss Katy Nichole behind stage, after we finished our set and before her band took the stage and she was so sweet and kind!
We first heard this song by her that night as she took the stage after us. She sat at the piano and played this and some of us cried because it was so beautiful. Afterward, we said, "We have to learn this song and share it."
