Marriage & Motherhood Yes me too! I don't like waking up to a mess in the AM. Its simple things like straightening pillows, put dishes in dishwasher, putting remotes back, mop kitchen etc.
I really enjoyed this video. As we become parents, our lifestyles change dramatically! I try to be super realistic but I do go through the "why do I even bother" stage. It's hard being a stay at home mom, full time student, and wife. At times I feel super defeated but honestly, all it takes is one inspiring video from you and I'm ready to get moving. Thanks so much! I enjoy your vlogs pertaining to your home life/adventures but the cleaning, meal prepping, and life management videos are what really get me going.
I am SO going to suggest the multiple bin technique to my daughter. Even though my granddaughter is not quite 9 months, her toys are everywhere!! Plus she gets bored fast (as to be expected) so this makes the toys seem almost new to her. I used to use a similar upstairs/downstairs bin method, but mine was just one bin where anything that was out and needed put away in another room went in that bin. I don't have an up/down, so I would go around at night from room to room, taking stuff out of that big catch all , and putting them away. Yes on the bed! My room looks so much better when the bed is at least just quickly made! That and the kitchen. It seems the counters always get cluttered with stuff! So now I make myself put it away. Yep, just me here so I really can't blame anybody, but I SWEAR I didn't do half this mess!!! Lol. I just love your videos and getting glimpses of everybody. Ryan is a natural comedian and Carter is always adorbs. Thank you Brittany. Following your videos a long time. Never fails to make me smile, teach me something, or make me think.
I LITERALLY watch your old cleaning videos about every two weeks to stay motivated. My house has hardly any storage closet so your organization tips have SAVED MY SANITY! Brittany you are amazing at what you do and I am so thankful you are sticking to you tube. Thank you for an update on this video
I love the "toys bins" idea! Definitely going to try that! I have a one and a half year old son and we live in a very tiny efficiency! Keeping the toys in the bins is not only a great idea to eliminate having toys all over the place, but it will also give me advantage of the vertical space in this tiny apartment! Thanks so much! Love your channel!
I loved the toy-bin idea. My kid is 4 years old and a room full of toys is a start of my day, it really becomes difficult to organize if you have everything out all over. Also, please do share some garden DIY ideas, like some DIY pots etc. Thanks for sharing love your videos.. :-)
Carter's impish grin! Carter pushing the vacuum cleaner! His delight at his daily box of toys! SOOO cute! Ryan is SO funny, plus you are the mastermind behind it all with the great tips and tricks. Keep up the good work! :-))
I do the same thing with laundry Monday’s! 😊It’s tough with a family of 6 (my kiddos are 6 and under) but it really helps with my sanity to not be doing laundry every single day and have baskets everywhere!
Thank You for the lil heart Kisses for baby Carter I always comment about a video about marriage advices I watch every video You upload..i found You way before You were pregnant:):)
I LOVE your updated tips! Any time I’m feeling overwhelmed by my kids’ messes (I have 12 year old twins and a 4 year old) I take a few minutes to watch one of your videos. It’s so inspiring to see a clean kitchen or living room and it gets me moving! Plus your voice is oddly calming to me lol. Your encouraging demeanor makes me feel like the mountain in front of me really is just a molehill and that I CAN DO IT!! From one mom to another, thank you, Brittany!
Haha I use the soaking method too but the dishes don't sit there too long as I put them into the dishwasher soon after "The soak". My biggest challenge is stuff on the counters. No matter how many drawers or bins devoted to keys, paperwork or things we need before we leave the house, there is always a pile of stuff on a counter each day that drives me nuts. I like minimal things on the counter. I miss the old butler's pantry's they used to have in older home as you could hide a bunch of items in there. Thanks Brittany. Carter is so adorable.
G- Bgcg How I wish my family WOULD soak dishes. Sure they load the dishwasher, but they never rinse anything. Here's another thing; if I empty the dishwasher guess where everyone puts their dirty dishes? Yup, IN THE SINK! WTF! like really!?!?! I have a sign on the dishwasher that says 'clean' and flips over to say 'dirty' giving those people a clue as to what to do! 😂😂😂That got outta hand quickly. Heh, sorry about that.
my dad (a super clean freak) always soaks the worst dishes like pots and pans, but he has a 5-minute rule on soaking because any more and he believes (agreeing with you) that it's stalling. i love this! thank you for sharing!
I love that he play with pan . Thank you for the tip on putting toys away my newphews and niece have their toys all over my apartment and I watch them Monday through Friday while my sister's work. I would used that idea.
pleaseeee please show us the educational activities youve done with carter, and things you believe helped him (anything, even things you do to/for him) to help him learn! hes an incredibly fast learner x
I have been implementing the one touch method for 6 months now and what a difference!!! Everyone in my house is on board and I cant believe how much easier it is to keep things tidy and in their place
I've been binge watching your channel for days now. You have inspired me so much! I've always been a neat freak but having 2 young kids, its so hard! But you have seriously given me inspiration. I've gone through so much clutter the last few days! Trip to goodwill is coming! I can't believe how much stuff I've been holding onto "just incase" and I can't explain how good it feels to get rid of the stuff!!!
Amazing video as always!!! can I also take a moment to say a huge THANKS!!...for how you are a constant motivation and a ray of sunshine to everyone who is lucky enough to discover your gem of a channel. Lots of love to you. It's only a matter of time before one million becomes a reality. Never forget the power you possess to inspire others. Too cheesy i guess..but hey! I'm just hoping you'll stumble upon this comment and it'll put a smile on your face. :)
Cleaning Habit is the key to have a clean house and stress free day. Thank you Brittany you gave me great ideas. Baby Carter is so adorable doing the vaccum cleaning. Thumbs up to both of you
Literally these are the best tips. We keep our house pretty kept up throughout the week and use Saturday for a good deep clean of showers, toilets, floors, etc. My daughter keeps her room clean and makes her bed every morning (she's 4). My husband cleans the kitchen every night after dinner while I do bath time for our two kiddos. Get a system and stick to it! We've had our system for seven months now, since the birth of our second, and it has been such a huge difference in stress and feeling like we are on it!
I love this one! Having a toddler definitely makes you question why you even try. I’ve implemented the 15-minute speed cleaning years ago and it’s a game changer, especially when you have help. Same with keeping horizontal spaces clutter-free. The only challenge is getting everyone else in board 😒
love the tips thank you! especially the toy bin tip. I'll have to try it out with my kiddos! I'd love to see your mommy morning routine. especially a fast mommy makeup routine/skin care.
I NEED this!!! As a teacher, mother & wife, it’s SUPER hard to manage my time and keep the house like I want it! Thanks for “realistic “ expectations and ideas !😊
About to become a mom in 2 months, so excited and intimidated. Thank you for all these tips that help make me feel more prepared for the some of the challenges ahead!
You are an absolute inspiration to all women,I love your channel and feel abliged to hear all of your thoughts and useful information not to mention your family is such a blessing. Carter is the cutest lil guy and you two are such great parents, he is so smart!!
I love the toy soaking method! Great idea Ryan....lmbo. God bless your family guys. Hey have you thought of coloring you hair light brown or the ombré look?
I LOVE the last tip with the toys! Wow, I wish I would have thought of that when my kids were younger. My boys are 11 and 6, and somedays I feel like I'm raising wild animals. lol But I'm so blessed to be a mother! My house is such a crazy mess that I just don't know where to start. I'm a single mother, who spent her life in the office until recently. I lost my job due to a company reduction in February. Now that I have all the time in the world to start cleaning my home, I just don't know where to start. It's a small 3 bedroom home, that's falling apart at the seams. Ironically, my mother lived here when I was a baby! I'm 32, so this house is older than I am. Your videos definitely inspire me. I feel like I have a weight on my shoulders and know that when my house gets under control that this burden will be lifted. Thanks for all your amazing tips and inspo! I have always loved your channel! Much love to you and your beautiful family. xoxo
I was like.. a frying pan.. wait what.. hehehehe :) I have watched 98% of your videos so most of these apply to me.. i have just started the "No shoes beyond this point." sign. Coz it seems like telling them don't work.. so I made a sign.. lol heheh.. advance happy mother's day.. :) yaaayy
2 years ago I started taking our shoes off and asking others to take theirs off but I get a lot of push back or like comments that I'm "too clean" and it irritates me lol I'm with you, it really does cut down tracking in dirt especially when you have hardwood or tile floors like we do
I love your family! My youngest and I adore baby Carter . He is growing so fast. Love watching the humor Ryan has and baby Carter is always the high light of your videos. Tons of kisses sent his way.
Thank you for this video😘 really enjoyed your tips, the toyswap boxes are brilliant💡definitly going to use that one. I noticed in previous videos you like to live minimalistic just like me but when it comes to our children we have a toy hording problem😂 looking forward to your next video, lots of love❤️
thanks for the tips. last year I bought a mini white plastic colidar. Because I live alone, I usually don't need a large one to rinse produce. A month ago , I realized that I could also scrape/rinse off off my dishes into it. Then I transfer them to my kitchen compost pail. Much neater, since the compost pail is under my sink. Before the water rinsed everything into the drain strainer.
So glad to see you! Last video I saw you were opening up about things at home and I wanted to respond. I may have but I’m not sure. My mom’s been ill so things are not always going smoothly. If I didn’t then here goes. 1. Kids move out so they are only w u for 2 decades approximately. 2. It’s good for them to see that the most important relationship in the house is what’s going on between the parents. If that’s not working then nothing is. 3. Hire a babysitter and go out once a week. Do not, I repeat Do Not talk about sex, kids or money. You didn’t have any of those when u first met so go back to talking about what commonalities brought u together. Raising kids is hard and the teen years are taxing, to say the least. Everything which comes before that is just a primer for what’s ahead. You need to be on the same team. Always. Have a lot of sex even if u don’t want to bc the rule is that if u start then u will love it. Don’t ever use it as a punishment or a bargaining tool. Hang in there! Rooting for ya!!
Extremely basic but fantastic video! I do most of these things. My hack for teaching/reminding children to put their dishes in the dishwasher is... before you sit down to eat a meal, open the dishwasher so when the kids finish their meal they can get up and put their own plate, fork, cup away.
First the the idea for your next vlog. Second where did you get your actual shoe rack? That would be perfect for my area for shoes. Decorate the top and shoes are sort of hidden!! Thanks
I love all these new ideas. I also love that you understand all ya mamas out here. It’s so hard to keep up with all the kiddos sometimes. I like “Vasseur’s Adventures”. I am so excited for this. It reminds me of those books I read as a kid where you can choose what comes next.
When I had a dishwasher I never soaked and they got loaded as soon as the meals were over but now that I don't own a dishwasher I do have to soak them in hot soapy bleach water it makes the scrubbing so much easier. Also it's a lot more sanitary to put a little bleach in the dishwasher. Great advice here.. good vid!
You’re almost to a million!!! You deserve it so much!!! I’ve been watching your channel before you got married and I still watch every single video. I hope things are going well in your personal life!!
My gosh, Brittany!! I dont evn have a child and I'm excited about the bin organization and playing with new toys every day lol. Probably because I have a nephew and I see how, "out of hand" his toy organization can be. That's such an amazing idea because they play with a toy one week and forget about it. Love your channel so much. You're such a big influence more than you may realize😍
I implemented the bin method for my apartment. It works wonder. I have a bad habit that i put stuffs everywhere. Now. If there is something i dont wuabt to deal with right away, i throw it in the bin. And when the bin is full. I come and deal with it. My house has never been clusterfree like that before. Thank you so muchhhh.
Can I just say that it is so generous of you to do such extravagant giveaways. I would love to win since I could use this for school and personal writing. Even if I don't that's obviously okay. I just can't get over that a MacBook is something you would give away. So kind and so generous.
I moved into my new home last year (it has no stairs) if it had stairs the tub @ the top & bottom sounds like a fantastic idea! I’ve no real routine in our new home except for making the bed each day & cleaning the bathroom. However I’ve just bought & am pretty inspired by essential oils @ the moment. So cleaning our home is due to become a pleasure yet again 👏👏👏 x
I don’t know if you know the meme that there’s a boy that was asking “ Mom where is my ... “ or “Mom did you see my.. “ I find that funny because I always asked my mom where’s my stuff but from your videos that I showed to my Mom she kinda sort and organize things now and I even helped her put label on it, so now everyone in my house knows where’s this and that. 😂 and I know that what you guys doing now would help Carter in the future
Love the tips! I have a 4 month old right now so these will help me in the future when he starts being mobile. I'm very organized and neat like you but I'm already having a panic attack even thinking about how crazy it will be when he's older hahaha. I use a basket in my bathroom for all my things that I keep under the sink. It makes it so much easier to keep the counters clean!!! Just throw everything back in the basket and hide it under the sink 😁
Great video! I’ll be sharing with all my Mom friends! How about a toddler outing video, maybe how you handle a day in the life, Playgroup/date, errands, cooking dinner etc.
Anyone else notice the white sofa cushion is backwards? Am I just OCD? Lol thanks for the tips!!! My son loves to vacuum too mwaha. ETA: I LOVE the toy bin idea!!!!
I feel the same way! I have a 10mo and find myself getting so frustrated when the house isn’t clean. It’s so hard for me, but your tips are so helpful. ❤️
We are the same way, we take our shoes off when we come in as well.... but guests usually don't and I don't really feel comfortable / know how to ask them to? Do you guys have guests remove their shoes? I do really love the convenient shoe rack kind of disguised as a console/side table. That is actually a very neat and pleasantly aesthetic way to store shoes and maybe it would also help with guests removing their shoes too? lol ......and the soaking toys?? Like father, like son??? That was hilarious!! 😍😂
Ryan "I guess he's just soaking it" 😂😂😂
And the fact that Carter has a cooking pan in his toys 😂
Currently “soaking” my whole house. Lol
THIS part was my favourite 😂
Sandra was
oh my gosh! hilarious!!
😂😂😂😂
"Guess he's just soaking it" LMAOOOOOOO y'all too funny.
Nouci that was my favorite part of the video 😂
Nouci I know I laughed out loud 😂😂😂😂😂
As a working mom, I try to straighten up and do a 15 min session in the evening and it really helps. Thanks for sharing!
Marriage & Motherhood Yes me too! I don't like waking up to a mess in the AM. Its simple things like straightening pillows, put dishes in dishwasher, putting remotes back, mop kitchen etc.

Carolyn Sellito I had one as a kid it was a great idea! We had all our toys sorted in each bin :)
“WHAT THE-? Oh, I guess he’s just soaking it” Hahaha that part was so funny!
Yaaas the vlog with polls throughout would be fun!
Tristan Trieber omg it definitely would! 😆
I totally agree!!!

So impressed how much more open and relaxed you are in your videos. Always relatable but even more so now. Thank you for these!

First the the idea for your next vlog. Second where did you get your actual shoe rack? That would be perfect for my area for shoes. Decorate the top and shoes are sort of hidden!! Thanks
Andrea F i think those were tension rods
merrivideo good thinking
Oh good idea
Great tips! Especially for the stairs!!
yes please do intergram polls in day!!!
I love all these new ideas. I also love that you understand all ya mamas out here. It’s so hard to keep up with all the kiddos sometimes. I like “Vasseur’s Adventures”. I am so excited for this. It reminds me of those books I read as a kid where you can choose what comes next.
I like the idea it does sound interactive, name suggestions "Vassuer Daily Voyage"
I love that this is stuff you actually do and try instead of giving the tips with a blind eye
OMG YOU ARE SO PRETTY 😀 I’ve been subscribed since 15k
thanks for staying with me so long!
Great advice here.. good vid!
Thank you so much for this!! I have a 2 yr and 4 month old and I can't keep up sometimes lol I loved the soaking scenes so much lol!!!!!!
You’re almost to a million!!! You deserve it so much!!! I’ve been watching your channel before you got married and I still watch every single video. I hope things are going well in your personal life!!
all your videos are amazing 😉 i have a toddler too and i find those hacks very useful 👌🏻 thanks ❤️ btw my son love pretending vacuuming too 😃
Your videos are the perfect combination for getting entertained and learning!
Love your videos😍😍
you have been so motivational ☺️
Yes on next weeks vlog 🙃🙃
My gosh, Brittany!! I dont evn have a child and I'm excited about the bin organization and playing with new toys every day lol. Probably because I have a nephew and I see how, "out of hand" his toy organization can be. That's such an amazing idea because they play with a toy one week and forget about it. Love your channel so much. You're such a big influence more than you may realize😍
I learn lot from u
I implemented the bin method for my apartment. It works wonder. I have a bad habit that i put stuffs everywhere. Now. If there is something i dont wuabt to deal with right away, i throw it in the bin. And when the bin is full. I come and deal with it. My house has never been clusterfree like that before. Thank you so muchhhh.
Yes, more cleaning. 😊 Carter is being so cute 😻
Separate bins with toys for different days? PURE GENIUS!!! Where were you when I had small kids?
Your the reason I try to clean
Avery Baldauf same
Avery Baldauf she inspired me too
Can I just say that it is so generous of you to do such extravagant giveaways. I would love to win since I could use this for school and personal writing. Even if I don't that's obviously okay. I just can't get over that a MacBook is something you would give away. So kind and so generous.
I love your videos! You have THE best ideas!! Thank you!
Great to see Ryan in your vlogs again! The soaking process was so funny! Your ideas have helped so much.
Love this video! You give me inspiration and motivation to keep my house clean :-)
Oh, I like the bin system for his toys! Sounds like a great idea and I think it helps him not get bored of everything in about a week.
Love your cleaning tips! 💖 😊
Very helpful thank you so much
Great video!
Ginger H. Yessss!I notice that!
yes I did while editing. Woops!
Ginger H. Hahahah I did...
Ginger H. I didn’t notice that lol!!!!
Ginger H. I noticed also and I actually liked it 😋
I feel the same way! I have a 10mo and find myself getting so frustrated when the house isn’t clean. It’s so hard for me, but your tips are so helpful. ❤️
CARTER IS JUST SOOOOO CUTE!
As a new Mum, your videos are a lifesaver. Thank you!!!
The idea to call the video you mentioned in the end: Being my viewers’ Sim for a day 😬
We are the same way, we take our shoes off when we come in as well.... but guests usually don't and I don't really feel comfortable / know how to ask them to? Do you guys have guests remove their shoes? I do really love the convenient shoe rack kind of disguised as a console/side table. That is actually a very neat and pleasantly aesthetic way to store shoes and maybe it would also help with guests removing their shoes too? lol ......and the soaking toys?? Like father, like son??? That was hilarious!! 😍😂
That’s a great idea
