I used to think that BigFoot (Sasquatch/Sabe) was only a Western USA phenomenon....that was until I saw one in Massachusetts several decades ago. Yes, I have been shadowed like that in Vermont in the woods around Willmington.
Just hiked Black Angel on a Friday in late August - also solo. I descended it from Carter Dome and then took Highwater Trail over to Moriah Brook trail and camped off Moriah Brook. Didn't see anybody until almost back up on the Carter Ridge the next day. Was very enjoyable.
@JohnBrochu nice, brother 👊 I started at Nineteen Mile and hit Hight - the last time I saw anybody until late the next day coming off Wild River. Came up on a bear that day too. You’ve done all the 4K’s I assume?
@@natehikes I just finished the 4k list a couple of weeks ago. Only took me 46 years from first to last lol. (I wasn't actively trying to finish them until recently. So I've done some like Lafayette dozens of times, while a few I had never done. But I have them all completed now.)
@sasuke1243 I did hear a distant plane at one point - a Cessna or something similar - But that’s about it. It was a very immersive trail dominated by the sounds of nature.
I was followed exactly like this near Mt. Carrigain in N.H., near the ghost town of Livermore and Sawyer Pond. It's very "unsettling".
Have you seen the movie Predator? I was even looking in the trees. It was a little creepy 😳
Good luck Kwan, that's how it is in the forest, there are many strange things
I made it out alive. Somehow 😆
It was definitely a Woods Devil (NHs very own Bigfoot-like cryptid). Cool video and congrats on 1k subs!!! Well deserved.
@bugnurddesigns5268 thanks Marc! And I’m torn if you’re joking or not about the Woods Devil theory..😆
Outstanding episode man, such a great ambiance! You nailed it here!
@ervinslens thank you. It was an amazing trip and a joy to make this video. Thanks for watching my friend 👊
Pretty sweet. Loved the sentiment and mystery.
Appreciate the feedback. Thanks for watching 👊

That’s pretty close to the infamous Bennington Triangle, where several disappearances have occurred. Creepy!

@JohnBrochu it took me over a decade. It’s not like we have all the time in the world to just hike (unfortunately). Congrats on finishing 👊🤘
I am thinking he wants the glasses Bro it will really elevate his social Statius 😂😂😂😂
@williewilson8244 I lost them overnight. They disappeared. True story. He’s rockin’ them as we speak I bet 😆
"Solitude expresses the joy of being alone, while loneliness expresses the pain."(Henry David Thoreau). 🥾
He was a fan of Mount Monadnock - My favorite 💚
can you hear plane traffic though? just curious! Also this is cool, since this is so close to me! not experienced enough to try it though.

Samsquatch, probably (he steals sammiches).
Mmmm, I wanna be a Samsquatch 🤘
Blair witch bro.
@kendalllucy5499 I thought it might have be you messing with me 😆
