- Welcome to another episode of NachoTV
We woke up early in O'ahu to head to the airport to island hop over to the Big Island of Hawaii as it would
be our first time there together. We only have today and tomorrow to make the most of our time.
Our goal is to come to Kona to see the Manta Rays
Its a race against the clock to maximize our limited time on the Big Island
Being one of the shortest flights We have ever been on it took about 30mins to land into Kona barely any time for a nap.
Its an outdoor airport and keep your eyes peeled they had some fresh Plumerias available.
In Hawaiian culture, the plumeria can be used to symbolize a woman's romantic status when worn in the hair.
If you wear the flower behind your right ear, that means you are single.
If you wear the flower behind your left ear, that means you are in a relationship.

We picked up our car rental and on the way to grab some lunch.
We ordered some Crab hash patties, a loco moco and a side of corned beef patty
After lunch we checked out the Scuba Diving shop, Kona Honu Divers since we're going to be doing night dive
with them later in the evening and wanted to make sure all the paperwork was squared away.
We picked up some stickers and headed off to get a boba milk tea, I took a short nap in the car as it's been a long
day and we still have a lot more planned.
On our way to the hotel we randomly took a detour to squeeze in this Farmers Market since we saw in on the way.
All our luggage's still hidden in the trunk.
This Farmers Market certainly has a different feel to that of the Aloha Stadium swap meet as it's more
intimate with 40+ vendors compared to 400
We wrapped up our time here and headed to the hotel as time was running out to rest up before the Scuba Dive.
Now we wait for nightfall to get back into the water where we will be equipped with high powered dive flashlights
to attract the plankton that the Manta Rays feed on. We will descend to a depth of about 55 feet and rest at the
bottom of the ocean where we hung out for close to an hour.

Yea it was kinda scary as it was our FIRST night dive, but with all the flashlights it felt like day.
That water is so clear mate! Another great trip.
40-60 feet deep 🤙 always great when the water visibility is clear and warm 😁

Hope you get certified soon. This was one of the easiest dives, literally just simply chilling at the bottom.
