I feel like most of the videos that you put out about POE2 are titled just to make people upset and I'm not a big fan of that even if the content doesn't match. You do you, but I think I might end up blocking your channel just because of the way that you try to get people's attention.
Well you have to realize that couple of K for gear on a new character is nothing if you have another character in the late game. I can farm like 5K an hour in act 3 with my lvl 30 character.

Being a first time MMO'er and AARP'er and Exil'er, I must say these bosses are fun and challenging, not too hard...community has to be careful "dooming" to often, The Dark and Darker community is a prime example of how the players will run it into the ground

This title is how to kill a game 101. People aren't smart enough these days to make their own decisions, so they'll see a title and immediately start ripping on a game.
Playing monk is fun later but balancing damage for tankiness is difficult. The flowing lava boss is difficult because while I can take a hit or 2 my dps wasnt high enough to defeat him before the lava kills me. Its why everyone is running minions.
I am now near the end of act 3 and had no problems at all, no guides just levelling what I like and had no problems with any boss. I died to no boss more then a few times. Being a souls veteran helps I think. I dont want to brag but I am not the best player, and have still to figure out how certain mechanics work. And when I can beat it without problems, did not need to farm once to get past a boss in the story I think its really not that hard.

And by the way, in the previous video, I saw how a monk with a staff simply takes apart this boss in seconds with the help of a staff. The game definitely has balance issues. But firstly, what did they actually expect from early access to the game, where half of the company and abilities are not yet available? And secondly, the bosses in this game are "different", which means that certain types of weapons will have an advantage against some of them. During the passage of the normal company, I had problems only with the last boss of Act 2. (Until I realized that during the sandstorm, there is a safe area) And with an additional boss in Act 3, which must be killed before the molten metal reaches the player (because I have a lot of survivability and control, but low dps)
I forgot to mention that since the developers are extremely clumsy, they dragged all the problems from the first part into the second. As a result, I am one of those "lucky" people who have experience with freezes and lags and in order to play without them, I have to connect a VPN and, in parallel with the game, turn on some stream so that their multithreading option starts working smoothly, instead of load surges. So, just for the fact that now if I get kicked out of the game due to network problems or some other reason, right during a boss fight and I don't die because of it, but can simply restart the game and continue the fight from the point where the gap was, I can forgive the developers a lot. You just can't imagine how much lags ruined my nerves when I played as a witch with 1 hp at the endgame in PoE1.
It was good to watch captainlance (small capitals only) die. After he abandoned his Crackling Lance league starter guide on day 2 a few POE1 seasons ago on, thats what he deserves. He even tried to lie about never having it at all.

you want to corrupt because corrupted modifiers can appear that are stronger and also it can give you more modifiers, like if an item could only have 5 you could get 6 or 7 (not sure) and if theyre god its really buildbreaking, or just become trash, the catch is, you cannot modify the item after the corruption in poe2, in poe 1 you partially can
It's a quad tab stash that costs about 3.5 times the normal stash price so you are saving overall by getting it especially during sale that ends in 2 days

Trial of sekhemas last boss is almost impossible (or might be impossible, even if you hit the movement speed buffs), to do without movement skills, that you can use with only 3 or so weapon types. Seems pretty shitty balanced.

I know everyone is sick of hearing “soulslike”. But in souls games you fight a boss and the boss kills you with something you didn’t expect, then you learn the bosses move set and play against it accordingly. The game is phenomenal and it’s only going to get better.

This game is far away from being finished. It's just a frustrating experience and zero fun. Perfect timing-reflex checker-spacebar hitting-simulator. Can't imagine doing this all over again every 3 months. So, as for now, I'm going back to PoE1. Everybody is doing glass-cannon builds because you will be one-shotted anyway by any yellow mob in higher-tier maps.
I mean isn't it clear by now that poe2 is just ruthless with more drops but the same game Philosophy, I feel like I am playing with ankle cuffs the entire game....and when I see something like 2:13 where capatinlance died its just clear to me that its not for me. So going back to poe1 where I can move around and dodge stuff with MOVEMENTSPEED and burst bosses down before they can react. Hopefully they stay true to their promise and continue developing poe1 and not focus all on poe2.... Ummm ... Im a complete noob to ARPGs. I play a Ranger and did that first boss last night. I used one skill (poison arrow) and had zero issues. Just stay near his hand unless you need to move when he moves. The only skill that will hit you is the one where he shoots the small fireballs across the platform.
"Ummmm" That issue isn't the boss and being difficult to read a telegraph. The issue was that the damge is "bugged" where it one shot a 2800hp 9k armor character. The move doesn't do that damage every time from that attack either

If you look closely at his face you can see he has some serious mental disabilities, so it probably has something to do with that.

@@sir_quirkus7206 Absolutely nothing to do with leveling. If you dont have the MS it will oneshot you. I had the ms from sanctum vendor and almost max from boots, and still could not do it. Its impossible without movement skills i think. You just cant gather all the orbs, and if you cant, run is over, no matter how insanely geared/leveled you are.

I know everyone is sick of hearing “soulslike”. But in souls games you fight a boss and the boss kills you with something you didn’t expect, then you learn the bosses move set and play against it accordingly. It’s not that difficult of a concept, if you don’t like that style of gameplay then move on. And don’t say a game is “bad” because it’s not your style of game. The game is phenomenal and it’s only going to get better.
bruh, I don't get why do people rage on boss when they die to their skill issue. Maybe I played too much terraria mods, but I'm EXPECTING that if I don't dodge boss' attack I'll f_ing DIE, and they somehow don't have such mindset
I feel like I can nearly frame perfect a dodge and still get hit in this game. They really need to fix their hit detection, among a million other things.

This game is far away from being finished.
It's just a frustrating experience and zero fun. Perfect timing-reflex checker-spacebar hitting-simulator. Can't imagine doing this all over again every 3 months.
So, as for now, I'm going back to PoE1. Everybody is doing glass-cannon builds because you will be one-shotted anyway by any yellow mob in higher-tier maps.
I mean isn't it clear by now that poe2 is just ruthless with more drops but the same game Philosophy, I feel like I am playing with ankle cuffs the entire game....and when I see something like 2:13 where capatinlance died its just clear to me that its not for me.
So going back to poe1 where I can move around and dodge stuff with MOVEMENTSPEED and burst bosses down before they can react.
Hopefully they stay true to their promise and continue developing poe1 and not focus all on poe2....
Its just very strange to me that the game is recieved so nicely while everyone hates ruthless mode....its basicly the same as poe 2 guys wake up.

Ummm ... Im a complete noob to ARPGs. I play a Ranger and did that first boss last night. I used one skill (poison arrow) and had zero issues. Just stay near his hand unless you need to move when he moves. The only skill that will hit you is the one where he shoots the small fireballs across the platform.

That issue isn't the boss and being difficult to read a telegraph. The issue was that the damge is "bugged" where it one shot a 2800hp 9k armor character. The move doesn't do that damage every time from that attack either

His main is a warrior. His reaction is because of the stark contrast between the classes. His warrior is literally op as hell, but he was surprised at how much easier it is to play a ranged vs the melee.
