literaaly me and my friend were stuck iin count grenor for a while after 2-3 times we realised we nneeeded a bit more hp regen/leech we respeced out of some damage nodes and got more hp regen nodes and we beat the boss instantly in poe 2 you literally nneed to think unlike these guys in the video

@@NhuQuynh-nv7fpmajority of them you consume on use, a lot of the things that say "quest item" are just permanent buffs from bosses for your character. I'm level 32 and don't have a single quest item in my stash or inventory. Unless you get a bunch later.
@@NhuQuynh-nv7fp No. These items are not quest items in the regular sense. You deliver them to an NPC and he gives you gold. They are completely optional. And on top of that, he could portal literally at any time he wanted and traded them in. You don't need to collect them all at the same time, you can turn them in one at a time. Plus the rest of his inventory management is trash. It's literally a skill issue on his part and he choses to complain.

I'm so glad I never played POE 1 now. No expectation, just learn the game and am having a blast with Fire Elemental Witch build I put together myself. That's how it is supposed to be.
Exactly this. I sometimes feel like im the only one looking for a challenge. Then I think again and Elden Ring sales skyrocketed so cant be it. But man, these people whining this bad, game unfair. No nerd, you need to learn the pattern. Same with bodyblocking; yeah it frustrated me, but now I try to position better so doesnt happen as often. Give yourself some time to learn the game before you whine or draw conclusions.
I expected the gameplay to be difficult, I was not surprised by that. I am fine with bosses having the damage and tankiness they currently do - the problem is in the player power. I expected the passive tree to be like PoE1, I expected meaningful choices, but all I got was a severe lack of the specialised damage nodes that I actually needed to scale a given skill - and a severe lack of decent sustain options. I also expected to get some actual loot. I also expected to actually get gems that have more than 2 support slots, but gem slots do not seem to be linked to gem level and only to jewelers orbs that do not drop until you reach endgame.
Those kind of people will always say it's *easy* no matter how hard it is as long as they beat it. It could be the hardest thing they have ever done in that game but because they did it, suddenly it's easy. People like that are trash.

Basically it boils down to people want to pull the entire map and complain when they get overwhelmed by mobs😂 on the other side it’s people who can clear the entire screen with one button press and auto cast skills.
All the autocast dudes are almost done with the normal campaign. I’m at act3 and have yet to see one such skill. Let alone having the spirit for it. There’s definitely a lot of balance issues. But those dudes didn’t get that far this quickly on accident.

what ive learnt is, you always need 1 hard cc skill/spell for last resort, then channel that hard hit ability to clear the path, hence clear the path for the exiled.
To be fair balancing is a joke, im oneshotting all regular mobs and bosses go down a bit too easy. Others die all the time. Hopefully they tweak things fast

Honestly ive seen "broken and overpowered" builds on most of the ascendancies... i think what is the issue is learning to scale damage and gear progression, which is not as straight forward for every skill, but i do see potential in every class

Never played poe in my life, started with a sorcerer build and idk what I'm doing but the game is pretty easy. Might take a while with the bosses but I'm level 13, full cleared every area up until the village place I'm at and only died twice. I've played diablo for a short period, honestly this is so much better since you can't just one shot everything and the playthrough seems very restricted. The scaling is nice and I'm just glad it's a little tough for some people.
I made up two builds, bricked one. Took the other to act 3. Took two op builds and it feels a little easier having a guide of course. However, the game isn't as hard as people are making it out to be
I love how all those poe1 people that were playing the game as if they just had 18 pills of ecstasy: running around doing nothing and getting 1000s of kills, but now try to face-tank 10 minions and get rekt...
Why is it that it's now 2 camps of people (poe1 enjoyers/ poe2 enjoyers) going for each others throats. There are some valid reasons to dislike the game in it's current state. Depending on the choices you made in the beginning you will have vastly different experiences. While skill is a good part of it and perseverence is also needed to rerun the huge maps after 1 death melee players have a lot less fun with clearing normal mobs. I didn't feel like I dropped a lot of currency and items in the campaign so I felt like a piece of wet paper. trying to get into melee range and instantly getting surrounded/stunned by a group of 5-6 white mobs feels ass. Boss fights feel amazing on the other hand where it's just a 1vs1 or 2vs1 the game really shines and is a big improvement on poe1. Conclusion: Yes some people are over doing it with their reactions but there are some legit reasons why people dislike the current version. It's EA, things are going to change and remade.

@@alter89 the problem is how far they seperated the 2 games, from all the announcements back then in 2018 until the last big one in 2022 they completly changed everything about the game. currently the game feels more like ruthless mode in poe1, nothing really drops for you to start crafting your gear, they removed all the tools you had to enchant gear, their are basicly no life mods on the tree which also shuts down your options.....its a step down in every way, and we dont wanna start with the pathetic slow pace we have... And dont get me more wrong, I didnt struggle while playing so far, with srs clearing most content easily, still I didnt have any fun playing compared to poe1 Campaign and even fuckn diablo 4 had a better campaign pace then this....

If you're trying to say that there is no alternative to life on gear, then sure, but poe 1 was balanced around having both. I think the biggest issue this game has so far is quantity and especially quality of loot. Campaign is whatever, I don't play arpgs for the story, but this idea that it's slow is kinda dumb. The whole purpose of this early access is to get feedback, and clearly some characters/skills are not balanced well. Playing ranger, I am about as fast clear/dps wise as a fresh league character in poe 1. People are still figuring stuff out, give it a few months of balance changes and build guides, and I'm sure people will get through the campaign quickly.
This might even top D2:LOD for me, this is the first ARPG I didn't feel like I wanted to rush endgame because the only content was loot. The game just feels solid to play, it feels like your character has weight to them. I never played the original POE, so I can't compare it to that one. The drops aren't perfect but that's awesome it's a mashup of stats that I have to make work. I feel like I earn each level, it's challenging but with so many mechanics to learn it feels so rewarding.
Right?! Everything is satisfying so far. I just beat the act 1 boss in 3 attempts and it was so satisfying. The game doesn't explicitly play like it WANTS you to win. It says here's a mash up of puzzle pieces, now put them together. They don't all fit together but you can still mix and match. The combat feels like I'm powerful but not untouchable. When I die it was for a reason. Maybe I got lazy and forgot to take advantage of my skills or wasn't paying enough attention and walked too far into a pack of mobs. I've seen complaints of low loot but I've gotten good drops from every boss so far. Got a unique from the boss before the act 1 final boss and 3 rares from the act 1 final boss. I've also had really good connection until prime time earlier tonight. Then I had some weird latency/rubberbanding. 2 freezes in 16-20 hrs play time. Impressive for a beta launch with so many players.
7:21 that boss killed me so many times... that was turning from fun, to challenging to straight annoying. getting 1 shot by a boss who chases you around and swings their weapons like 5-6 times and if you get his once, you die. L design.
if you were doing it like ziz was, you're dodging too early, which is slowing you down. you also need to dodge directly away from her once she actually does get close enough. with zero movespeed bonus you can avoid getting hit by that attack every time if you play it correctly. hope this helps.
I thought that too and same for act 1's last boss but then i thought "okay let's try an other strategy" and it went smooth for me. I just went from casting safely to straight up melee and the guy becomes ez, that attack it's a timed dodge roll and constant moving, as well as dodging behind him. That's this game in a nutshell : you do one strat, fuck up royally, and then you're forced to try other things and eventually it either works or your build is just too bad (my personal L on this one, i wanted to try a cool build but eventually you just gotta grind gear or respec and i hope that is less the case on release)

I got 4k hours in poe1 plus more in their standalone. POE2 seems like a great game but maybe just not for me. The bosses are overtuned the loot too scarce to really fight back so it ill be watch a build guide and copy pasta the eastiest way to do it. I hoped for better but it's gone full circle everyone will be forced to play the meta skills as the game punishes you for dong otherwise

I’m basically stuck trying to clear trial with my merc that I accidentally wasted my level 7 skill gem. I found a unique chest that gives me movement speed yeyyyyy. I feel like it’s impossible to progress. I’m going back to all the old bosses in act one and two trying to farm better gear because It feels like ass. It’s a cool game and monsters being 20 times faster than you and wrapping around you like a gang bang is fun but idk. I’m not giving up yet.

"Fraud players" You can't level in this game like old games, the tree doesn't give much of anything to most builds early on. Additionally, gems, things you use to level to progress in POE1, are now drops. Drops from the enemies you need to be able to kill. So leveling doesn't matter much for jack in this game. Gearing? Maybe, but that's a different can of worms.
i am in a zone im 7 levels over and still dying to white mobs, we need a way to not get blocked by mobs, and either more currency/gear needs to drop, or disenchanting needs to give more mats, i havnt been able to get a solid upgrade in 12 levels.

For me this in not Poe anymore at all but I am fine with it, their is no need to play it since both games will exists together and I will just continue playing the first over this dogshit game designe where you lose all the items from a boss when you die after the boss kill, and this items only drop once.

Are we playing same game? You know that in POE2 leveling doesn’t makes you that much stronger? You can’t rly just grind your level up to beat hard part of the campaign. You don’t level up gems so no power increase there as well. You have rarely any loot so you run around act3 in gear that still remembers begging of act2. Leveling and its impact was heavily nerfed in poe2
I think there is an extreme lack of balance in terms of different skills. Im enjoying the fuck out of it right now ,but still. For example most minions are really squishy and lack damage. Most just build srs to get that somewhat fixed. Then there are Dots that start strong, then get really bad for nearly 2 acts and then ramp up again lol.Then we have extremely strong skills from merc and sorc for example that are just overpowered. Idk. just a feeling from playing so far. But we will see, my guess is, they gonna change alot of skills soon.

I'm so glad I never played POE 1 now. No expectation, just learn the game and am having a blast with Fire Elemental Witch build I put together myself. That's how it is supposed to be.
Exactly this. I sometimes feel like im the only one looking for a challenge. Then I think again and Elden Ring sales skyrocketed so cant be it. But man, these people whining this bad, game unfair. No nerd, you need to learn the pattern.
Same with bodyblocking; yeah it frustrated me, but now I try to position better so doesnt happen as often. Give yourself some time to learn the game before you whine or draw conclusions.

I expected the gameplay to be difficult, I was not surprised by that. I am fine with bosses having the damage and tankiness they currently do - the problem is in the player power.
I expected the passive tree to be like PoE1, I expected meaningful choices, but all I got was a severe lack of the specialised damage nodes that I actually needed to scale a given skill - and a severe lack of decent sustain options. I also expected to get some actual loot.
I also expected to actually get gems that have more than 2 support slots, but gem slots do not seem to be linked to gem level and only to jewelers orbs that do not drop until you reach endgame.

what ive learnt is, you always need 1 hard cc skill/spell for last resort, then channel that hard hit ability to clear the path, hence clear the path for the exiled.
I think the game's difficulty is perfect...

To be fair balancing is a joke, im oneshotting all regular mobs and bosses go down a bit too easy. Others die all the time. Hopefully they tweak things fast

Yeah the people in the video are going to be really disappointed because there attacks are getting nerfed since they are not working properly or overpowered but this is how it usually goes streamers always pick the broken characters and builds that aren’t working how there supposed to and then act like they are just so amazing at the game. The people who think the game is easy are using incredibly broken builds. We're only 2 days into what more like a beta than early access. It's going to happen. But don't get it twisted, they aren't playing the same game as everyone else.
Honestly ive seen "broken and overpowered" builds on most of the ascendancies... i think what is the issue is learning to scale damage and gear progression, which is not as straight forward for every skill, but i do see potential in every class

Never played poe in my life, started with a sorcerer build and idk what I'm doing but the game is pretty easy. Might take a while with the bosses but I'm level 13, full cleared every area up until the village place I'm at and only died twice.
I've played diablo for a short period, honestly this is so much better since you can't just one shot everything and the playthrough seems very restricted. The scaling is nice and I'm just glad it's a little tough for some people.
I made up two builds, bricked one. Took the other to act 3. Took two op builds and it feels a little easier having a guide of course. However, the game isn't as hard as people are making it out to be

I love how all those poe1 people that were playing the game as if they just had 18 pills of ecstasy: running around doing nothing and getting 1000s of kills, but now try to face-tank 10 minions and get rekt...
Why is it that it's now 2 camps of people (poe1 enjoyers/ poe2 enjoyers) going for each others throats. There are some valid reasons to dislike the game in it's current state. Depending on the choices you made in the beginning you will have vastly different experiences. While skill is a good part of it and perseverence is also needed to rerun the huge maps after 1 death melee players have a lot less fun with clearing normal mobs. I didn't feel like I dropped a lot of currency and items in the campaign so I felt like a piece of wet paper. trying to get into melee range and instantly getting surrounded/stunned by a group of 5-6 white mobs feels ass. Boss fights feel amazing on the other hand where it's just a 1vs1 or 2vs1 the game really shines and is a big improvement on poe1.
Conclusion: Yes some people are over doing it with their reactions but there are some legit reasons why people dislike the current version. It's EA, things are going to change and remade.

currently the game feels more like ruthless mode in poe1, nothing really drops for you to start crafting your gear, they removed all the tools you had to enchant gear, their are basicly no life mods on the tree which also shuts down your options.....its a step down in every way, and we dont wanna start with the pathetic slow pace we have...
And dont get me more wrong, I didnt struggle while playing so far, with srs clearing most content easily, still I didnt have any fun playing compared to poe1 Campaign and even fuckn diablo 4 had a better campaign pace then this....

If you're trying to say that there is no alternative to life on gear, then sure, but poe 1 was balanced around having both. I think the biggest issue this game has so far is quantity and especially quality of loot.
Campaign is whatever, I don't play arpgs for the story, but this idea that it's slow is kinda dumb. The whole purpose of this early access is to get feedback, and clearly some characters/skills are not balanced well. Playing ranger, I am about as fast clear/dps wise as a fresh league character in poe 1. People are still figuring stuff out, give it a few months of balance changes and build guides, and I'm sure people will get through the campaign quickly.

This might even top D2:LOD for me, this is the first ARPG I didn't feel like I wanted to rush endgame because the only content was loot. The game just feels solid to play, it feels like your character has weight to them. I never played the original POE, so I can't compare it to that one. The drops aren't perfect but that's awesome it's a mashup of stats that I have to make work. I feel like I earn each level, it's challenging but with so many mechanics to learn it feels so rewarding.
Right?! Everything is satisfying so far. I just beat the act 1 boss in 3 attempts and it was so satisfying. The game doesn't explicitly play like it WANTS you to win. It says here's a mash up of puzzle pieces, now put them together. They don't all fit together but you can still mix and match. The combat feels like I'm powerful but not untouchable. When I die it was for a reason. Maybe I got lazy and forgot to take advantage of my skills or wasn't paying enough attention and walked too far into a pack of mobs. I've seen complaints of low loot but I've gotten good drops from every boss so far. Got a unique from the boss before the act 1 final boss and 3 rares from the act 1 final boss. I've also had really good connection until prime time earlier tonight. Then I had some weird latency/rubberbanding. 2 freezes in 16-20 hrs play time. Impressive for a beta launch with so many players.

if you were doing it like ziz was, you're dodging too early, which is slowing you down. you also need to dodge directly away from her once she actually does get close enough. with zero movespeed bonus you can avoid getting hit by that attack every time if you play it correctly. hope this helps.
I thought that too and same for act 1's last boss but then i thought "okay let's try an other strategy" and it went smooth for me.
I just went from casting safely to straight up melee and the guy becomes ez, that attack it's a timed dodge roll and constant moving, as well as dodging behind him.
That's this game in a nutshell : you do one strat, fuck up royally, and then you're forced to try other things and eventually it either works or your build is just too bad (my personal L on this one, i wanted to try a cool build but eventually you just gotta grind gear or respec and i hope that is less the case on release)

Having run many braindead POE1 players that are used to brute forcing everything while standing in the fire, I disagree. When the smoke clears and I party up, I can at least know by endgame that those people I'm with know how to fucking move.

I got 4k hours in poe1 plus more in their standalone. POE2 seems like a great game but maybe just not for me. The bosses are overtuned the loot too scarce to really fight back so it ill be watch a build guide and copy pasta the eastiest way to do it. I hoped for better but it's gone full circle everyone will be forced to play the meta skills as the game punishes you for dong otherwise

He's in act 5. If your build in act 5 have less than 750 hp as a titan something is clearly very wrong. My Deadeye in act3 have 600 hp.

At least for the campaign and lower tier maps for casual players, for endgame it's pretty much impossible to balance. Too many skill/ passives/ item/ class combinations+ new seasons. A small change can make a skill or item OP or trash depending how it synergizes with other stuff
I’m basically stuck trying to clear trial with my merc that I accidentally wasted my level 7 skill gem. I found a unique chest that gives me movement speed yeyyyyy. I feel like it’s impossible to progress. I’m going back to all the old bosses in act one and two trying to farm better gear because It feels like ass. It’s a cool game and monsters being 20 times faster than you and wrapping around you like a gang bang is fun but idk. I’m not giving up yet.

"Fraud players" You can't level in this game like old games, the tree doesn't give much of anything to most builds early on. Additionally, gems, things you use to level to progress in POE1, are now drops. Drops from the enemies you need to be able to kill. So leveling doesn't matter much for jack in this game. Gearing? Maybe, but that's a different can of worms.

Its an early access, of course the game is going to be unbalanced to hell and people who get the short stick are gonna blame it. Don't pretend you're god's gift to gaming when you lucked out and your build was one of the strong ones.

There is a reason that this game isn't at release version yet. Still looks gorgeous with huge amounts of potential with a few tweaks and balances.

Dear lord, he must be baiting, after the second leap slam death I would have learnt.
The game wants to be more mainstream, yet pushes players into the stripped down poe mode ruthless. I know I need more defence and resists but you're lucky if you get 1 yellow per map clear. Clear to me the the game is too hard with loot being too scarce at the moment
As New comer to the arpg genre i concur. I want to progress and I'm willing to die and retry a lot. But this is rough, not many people will have my patience i fear.
Augment it, Regal it, Exalt it and be a little lucky doing it. There. Gear fixed.
For me this in not Poe anymore at all but I am fine with it, their is no need to play it since both games will exists together and I will just continue playing the first over this dogshit game designe where you lose all the items from a boss when you die after the boss kill, and this items only drop once.

@@SuperStarkiller999 Game is days into EA.. meaning they have had their hands full of server issues and Very bad bugs/balance issues. If you think GGG won't fix things then you really don't know them at all. Took them a really long time to get poe1 into its current state and still almost every league breaks something, but its then fixed.

I personally feel like POE2 is well balanced. If you keep dying then just grind and level up.
Are we playing same game? You know that in POE2 leveling doesn’t makes you that much stronger? You can’t rly just grind your level up to beat hard part of the campaign. You don’t level up gems so no power increase there as well. You have rarely any loot so you run around act3 in gear that still remembers begging of act2.
Leveling and its impact was heavily nerfed in poe2
@Zerli When I say "level up" I'm talking about leveling up everything as a whole such as stats. Yes the game is difficult but it's a fun difficult.
I think there is an extreme lack of balance in terms of different skills. Im enjoying the fuck out of it right now ,but still. For example most minions are really squishy and lack damage. Most just build srs to get that somewhat fixed. Then there are Dots that start strong, then get really bad for nearly 2 acts and then ramp up again lol.Then we have extremely strong skills from merc and sorc for example that are just overpowered. Idk. just a feeling from playing so far. But we will see, my guess is, they gonna change alot of skills soon.
