- Testing gear up booster to see if it helps with dsync in dark and darker. Doesn't seem like it has that large of an impact for me, but could also be I didn't test enough. Took a lot of time just to make this 5 min video. Like literally 3 hours of recording and editing just to get these clips aligned properly and measured. Give their free trial a test if you're willing.

I have a couple of very good clips that showcase dsync as well as melee combat in general very well. It's of a barbarian vs longsword fighter from the barbarian's (my) perspective. If you want to see them or use them for your channel I can send them for you to look at.
I appreciate it but I'm not gonna lie I have literally 179 saved clips for when I decide to make a dsync montage to yell at Ironmace xD
Did you make the video after the new patch? Im curious how it is now, cuz i noticed my merchants are way less laggy (it was really bad when buying meds on characters that have many full stashes) so maybe the in game lag is less too
Yeah I made this after the patch. However, I also streamed for a couple hours last night just to get a feel for the game again after taking a break for a week and the dysnc felt really solid while actively playing. Interesting i'm probably still gonna choose to suffer lol. desync will always be there 50ms and lower i can accept but 150ms is kinda insane because i can process how bad it is with that much delay i mean when an arrow suddenly hits me in the head after i crouch/move kinda bs. makes me wonder what the ms delay is from game to game i wonder what game has the best delay.
Yeah I understand for sure dude lol. I also wonder how bad dsync is in other games. Hard to test for most but with my handy dandy second whole ass computer I could actually answer that question now xD
I loved this game but the meta has been so unfun and sweaty ranged spam kiting , and the desync parries just made me take a break

No it works just like a vpn but rather than "hiding" where your connection is it's just "optimizing" the connection is the best way I've had it described to me
Got so fed up with the server issues and dev decisions that I finally uninstalled this turd of a game. It's right up my alley but the quality and balancing is nowhere to be found.

i uninstalled mainly for the same reason and other ones too =/

@@demnuh Idk if I will but hopefully so. I doubt it will be any time soon if it does happen. If they fix server issues and arena actually looks fun it might be worth it. There just isn't enough in the core gameplay to make the game worth it. Gameplay loop is broken, AI for mobs is really janky, and there is zero lore in the game.
