And 5 concepts that could've saved Chrysler. Looking back, there was so much they could've put into production, but no. Now we just have a ancient sedan and a fucking minivan.
Kevin F1 EXACTLY!!!! I TOTALLY AGREE
I’m my opinion, the Chrysler 300 is really nice and it’s not ancient, it was redesigned in 2011, The Maserati GranTurismo was last redesigned in 2008, the Nissan Frontier in 2005, and the Chevy Express in 1996!
Agree!Chrysler definitely needs too shake it up a bit!How about a Truck, along the lines to compete with Cadillac or even similar to Ram,just slap a little hand clock in the dash and change a badge or two
The 300 is pretty much only here so that Chrysler has more than one vehicle. The minivan is selling decently, but minivans are going out of style, so they better step it up. They need a crossover vehicle.
And they better not rebadge the Journey. That thing is more ancient than the 300
The Chrysler Firepower reminds me of an Aston Martin
brian versansky agreed that’s what I thought as well when I saw it
Jason Bourne met James Bond Real Estate... Greece 300... This is Sparta 👇😂 The clues in the parts chaps and on the map... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrysler_Building?wprov=sfla1
Think Metropolitan weapons housing market retailing mass marketing mad rid sao Paulo carindiru prison ill let you work out the rest caught in a ✝ fire 😂.... although Scotland yard also did sell 😯🙊😂 could swear these 999 boys need some schooling 😂
And a sls amg
@@jonpattison7707 Looks like you are an AI that grabs random words from the english dictionary and thought what came up in their minds first when hearing "chrysler" and "aston martin". Then fail trying to combine them together to make sense
Chrysler Chrono looks like a 300 that was stung by bees
Don't laugh. Don't make fun. It could happen to you.
Man that FirePower would be the best car chrystler could have released. Someone should have fired the people who turned down some of these cars years ago.
Do you know if those plans can be picked up by a different company?
eunit08 I know right. Too bad it ended up being too expensive for them. The interior is really nice
Kidboy A.G. yea everything was nice in my opinion. Im sure labor costs isnt as expensive as it used to be..
Also imagine if they made an srt of them ??🔥🔥
@@2hmedia960 thats a gold mine waiting to be excavated
The inside of the Akino is awesome, too bad safety regulations stifles all unique ideas
The Fire Power looks EPIC
Some of these are actually pretty and not too “crazy”.
In my opinion, the chronos is the best concept. I mean this form with this sound is the ideal combination
That Firepower would have been a luxury version of the viper by the way it would have worked out if would have been released.
The Chrysler Firepower would have been awesome☺
Firepower and Chronos were gorgeous!!! I think the Chronos should’ve been a long elegant coupe. Not a sedan with cramped rear seats.
The Thunderbolt, Firepower, and Chronos were a big deal!
Talk about almost having a full house for the competition!
Chrysler needs to bring back the old school stuff and update it with the supercharged 6.7 hemi. I would get a 93 thunderbolt with a small wing, some running lights, and a slightly nicer interior and call it good.
They should still build a Firepower type of vehicle.
They had the crossfire
Cant remember, when fca Had their last conceptcar!
I think the Chrysler 300C is the Chrysler Chronos
You missed the best concept they ever made, ME412
I would’ve like to see the ME412
the firepower rear end looks gorgeous, and i would definitely buy an akino
, the Aquino is awesome inside now, I love it. Make it an electric car with a 350 mile an hour range 4 under 20 grand and you got yourself a winner buddy boy. Even today. Still looks good.
No ME Four-Twelve!?
Edit: That Firepower is pretty gorgeous, though.
I’m not a big Chrysler fan. I would actually buy a firepower
who wouldnt?
heck i would have paid double for one of those machines
Years ago I remember going to the Houston Auto Show and the Chrysler ME Four-twelve was there. That thing was amazing in person and in my opinion the best could have from them.
The Chrono would have been perfect for Cruella De Vil
Hope he does another Chrysler concept car video. He forgot both the Chrysler Imperial concept, the Atlantic Concept and the ME Four - Twelve concept.
The bronze on green on that thunderbolt looks surprisingly good
The distance between the dash and front axle on that Firepower is CRAZY.
And I will never forgive Daimler for running Chrysler into the ground. They deserved better.
Fun video. Shame I found it so late. The only correction I would make to your video is the fact that the Dodge viper left production because it could no longer meet federal crash regulations. It had nothing to do with the cost of development or design. Dodge lost money on pretty much every year the viper was produced but kept it around as a halo vehicle.
Ok thats it..hello chip foose? Yeah i need 2 chrysler firepower concepts made for me. 1 hardtop 1 convertible. Both on viper acr gts chassis. 1400 hp in each....ok that'd be a call i make....after i win the lotto....lol fingers toes eyes all crossed....look out for that tree...lol
Chrysler Firepower was just beautiful! The styling even in the 2020 market would work! I would buy one
As a Chrysler fan and a Crossfire owner, I would have loved to see the Firepower produced.
The firepower looked nice
I love the ‘93 Thunderbolt and the 2005 Firepower. Man, I wish they went in to production or at least be added to GTA Online.
Edit: God I want that Chronos
Fantastic concepts..what a absolute shame none were put into production..( that Firepower looks alot like the Ferrari TDF..IMO)
I like the Akino, wish it would've went into production
The 93' Thunderbolt would of been sweet to mod up. Cool video!
0:40 Kia stole this look for the Soul?
1:03...my '77 Chrysler Newport had those living room qualities. Heheheh.
Akino..2006...looks like 2026!
Thunderbolt. Oy.
the firepower gives me karma fisker vibes
that firepower is sick
The firepower was the only nice looking one Chrysler can’t make a decent looking car to save its life though
Not to revive a dead post, but have you seen the atlantic? It looks amazing!
I definitely love the Firepower. Also I think you should have mentioned the ME-412.
The Big Shebang There will be more of these videos made
The 2nd thunderbolt was my fav but I like all of them!
That Firepower was the one
Interesting concept cars
1968 DODGE CHARGE III CONCEPT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yee, another one!!
I never been forgot the Chrysler Firepower.
Really nice looking cars.
The Firepower was awesome. It could have become like an American Aston Martin.
The Firepower is also gorgeous and could have been the new Viper. Much more useful and realistic than a regular Viper. Call it the Viper GT.
D'Elegance/Chronos. The way to of done that is..you have a wheel where the outer section is a slightly rough white painted deal..so the wheel & tire would look like a 14-15" wheel, with a wide white wall, but in actuality, it's a 20" or so & no actual white wall on the tire :D
if they had stretched the cabin of the Chronos, they would have had a winner. that car was hot!
About the First concept,
I don't know what the designers were thinking, it doesn't make sense to have doors like that in a tiny urban car, it's not practical. Some "Van-Opening Doors" would have been better.
Wow these concept cars look like a something from the future
Yay!
Great video, really enjoy watching these.
I first saw the 1993 Thunderbolt as a 64th scale toy from an Irwin Toy line called Blazin' Key Cars. These came out between 2000 and 2002. I still have but one of the two I had. It's dressed in deep purple and still works. All they were was a plastic toy car with a spring mech in the back and a little pop out flame piece that came you when you squeezed the key to release it from the locking studs. Even then, I thought the design was pretty cool. 18 years later I still say that car should have been on the road in some way. Didn't know about the Firepower though, and I think the Chronos is a Rolls-Royce esque design. I like it. Give it a turbocharged 6, scoot the entire green house forward and give more rear seating and you'd have a pretty decent full-size car.
man, i never forgot about the firepower. im getting test drive unlimited nostalgia!!
In the 2010s we've figured out what the modern day car should be like, and that's the crossover SUV. The best interpretation of a crossover SUV as a solid replacement to the mid-size sedan is the Kia Sportage. Car like handling, elegant styling worthy of a luxury car, abundance of space, loaded with features, and affordable.
The experimental phase of what the do-it-all car is somewhat over. Minivans, MPV, Wagons, Hatchback-Wagons.
Dude the Firepower would've kicked ass.
The Firepower looks great but 65k for a Chrysler??? No one would do that haha
The viper is technically chrysler so people do pay 65k/more for a chrysler
I love the firepowers design
Chrysler has the best design team.
I'm suprised that the Akino with the sofa and swivel seats hasnt been done by Tesla or similar!I don't understand the purpose of cars if you can't drive them, only thing good about self driving cars would be if the operator is intoxicated!2 of them looked like variants of Crossfires!!Good Vid as Always 👍
Chrono was my favorite.
1st firepower 2nd thunder bolt 1993 3rd chrono 4th thunderbolt 1949 5th akino
The Chrysler Firepower would sell big time in the 2020 market I think!
I am such a fan of some of these cars I wish Chrysler line up was with the fire power I am in love with that car it’s still reasonably fast and modern standards but if they put a supercharger on there It would be awesome
I like the fire power 🔥
I think the world would live to have it
Should've cancelled the Crossfire sooner to focus on the Firepower. It looks like it was set to challenge Jaguar. That Chronos would have been awesome, MUCH nicer than the 300C.
Drop a Hellcat or Demon engine in the 41' Thunderbolt
The firepower my choise
The akino would make for a great electric car and would fit in nicely with the people mover image they're going with. The second thunderbolt and firepower are really nice. The thunderbolt would also sort of fit into the people mover image I think.
The Firepower looks fucking rad
I would have bought the Firepower. Awesome looking car.
The thunderbolt looks like it could have been a Porsche, jaguar f type and corvette competitor
Are you going to do any keep vids. There were some interesting Jeep concepts in the 2000's
Man the Firepower have a lot of potencial
The fire power would have been great
Would love to see the Dodge concept used in the movie the Wriath
It is evident that the 300 was definitely inspired by the styling of the Chronos. No wonder it sold so well. The Firepower would have made it as well, if the rear wheel size had been reduced. 20x12s are a bit too beefy.
Good desighn.
Firepower, really nice looking car with power. Should re surface under new ownership of Chrysler.
Imagine if the firepower was released
Both the Akino and the Firepower would have been awesome cars
The firepower looks like a Type F
the firepower looks kinda like the latest model corvette as well
I actually really like the akino
Akinola was cute af
The Firepower very nearly made it to production. It's a shame neither it nor the Copperhead was ever built
Should of produced the Akino it looks much better than the smart for 2 car and other mini cars today. I waited and waited for the fire Power to be on sale, even had saved 50K ready to put down so I can finance it but it never made it into the sales room in NYC,
If "The Car" released in the 90s then they would probably use the Chrysler Chronos
What happened to the other two thunderbolts
im pissed that the Firepower model was cancelled. honestly they can make it now and its still looks like its fresh from the factory. honestly i wish more games could add this car. its one of those few american cars that makes me turn into a 5 year old. along with the ford GT and ford shelby GR-1
honestly those were the concept cars i grew up with and it pisses me off only 1 of those 3 got into production
i think i like the chronos best
Thunderbolt Designer??? Tom Gale? or Robert Hubbach
is it just me i think the concepts look way better then the production vehicles
The 1993 Thunderbolt by far was the best concept car.
Some of these Chrysler concept cars should of been made into production and probably save Chrysler for a bit like the Firepower but nope, we've got nothing good tbh, I hope they wake up soon and make Chrysler great again
wheres the chrysler ME FOUR TWELVE? or did they produce 2 of them?
