Subs are fun, I've done a handful of them. I even rebuilt an evap coil for one while I was in school. Will never do that again tho because it was a pain.
@@theapplianceguy4566 we had two small evap coils that were still good, and cut off the copper lines on the sides and brazed them both together to make the evap coil the same size as the one that was currently in the sub, in the end we added the freon and everything worked out.

I don’t work on sealed systems yet. How do you rebuild an evaluation coil? I thought you just replaced the entire coil.
