@@totigerus True Nick did use Tama on the Countdown and Youthansia tours. Seems like he might have played Pearl on CrypticWritings. But, his most famous kit was the Yamaha kit with nuclear bass drums heads used on Rust in Peace.
I prefer DW pedals. DW 9000s. They are the only ones where I didn't have to tighten the screws ALL the time. All others I had, including Iron Cobras, would fall apart after about 6 hours of playing if I didn't tighten the screws constantly. But those DW's are solid af. I found my 9000s in a pawn shop for $150. Dude had no idea what he had. I was 15 at the time, and had saved my allowance. I went to Sam Goody and bought Primus - Tales From the Punchbowl. Had been waiting forever to buy it, and I was finally getting it. On a whim on the way home I asked my Mom to stop at this local pawn shop... There they were. I had just enough money left. One of the best days ever.
I own multiple recording studios, play with multiple bands, have run sound for some of the biggest names in music and work with major record labels. I know what tricks are used in the mixing and producing of most styles of music.
Doesn't matter what drum sounds are, during mixing the drums get replaced anyway and then they layer samples in with the only original sounds they do keep from the scratch track an process the shit out of them anyway.
Alright Charlie with that traditional grip! :)
I Love Anthrax!!!

Cam Which year did you buy your 9000 pedals? Takes From The Punchbowl was released in 1995. The 9000 series wasn’t released until much later.
Why was there no audio for the set he was sitting at? I would have loved to have heard that.
It probably sounded like shit using the mic they had.
Cause that's what it's like when you just show up at guitar center.
