Dear Anna and Jonny,
What a very informative 'ScotlandShop on the sofa' about Clan Baird history this month. We are not one of the largest Clans, but many Bairds appear in politics, the military, inventors, aviators, doctors and civil engineers.
We have a very active and thriving clan society, Clan Baird Society Worldwide, which is based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland and we are hoping to have a presence back at Auchmedden, Fraserburgh in the very near future. If this can be achieved, I wonder if the eagles will return ?

Dear Phillip.
Thank you for your kind comments. I enjoy the challenge and hope that my leadership will take the whole Clan forward.
I was Chief of the Grandfather Mountain Games, NC at the start of July, we are hosting a tent for the first time at Aboyne, Aberdeenshire tomorrow and I am then off to Canada next week for the Fergus Games and hopefully will link up with some of our Canadian Bairds.
I look forward to meeting you in 'the flesh' sometime in the future and hope you will join the Clan Baird Society Worldwide and enjoy your Clanship some more.
