I suffer from ADHD and a handful of other mental health barriers to focusing. I'm in nursing school during the COVID quarantine and have been feeling very lost and distracted because of how stressed I've been. This guided meditation has made me feel intensely focused and more emotionally connected with myself. Thank you for this. I'll be back soon.
Hello Julian! I'm in nursing school and have ADHD too. I am so happy to see that I am not alone in this struggle. Thank you for sharing and remember "WE RISE BY LIFTING EACH OTHER" have a wonderful day!
Hang in there man. You got this. I am in college and have adhd with learning disability. My sister does too, and she was able to get thru nursing school and later got her BSN. She is now working at a hospital in grad program. If she can do it, you can too
@@seanlee1747 meditation is lile a high buddy. But like cocaine and other drugs give u high instantly with meditation its about practice do it for 1 month without fail. You'll start to see results.
This is so much better, in my opinion the best guided meditation video on here. He doesn't use that "spiritual" voice and no music which is a plus. The best no-bullshit video i have found.
Hi, It's me the guy who continuously used your 10-1 hour meditation guides for 11 months now I think? Again I just want to let you know that if it wasn't for your meditation guides, I don't think I would be ever happy with myself, learn to calm down, and just enjoy the moment and be present. I've now stopped mounting the core (semen retention), never looked back and I feel so much better. Way better than before. I am much more energetic and able to focus for very long periods of time. I stopped tracking my habits and so far, everything is going great, I'm still meditating everyday using your guide. I try to change the duration 10 to 1 hour from time to time, and I don't think I'll ever stop using your meditation guides. Thank you once again, I'll be back once I do it for a year, this has been a great journey, slowly but surely achieving my goals. I'll be back Declutter The Mind.
Hi, It's me again. Just to tell you that this video just allowed my best meditation session in 1 year. SO powerful and I love the fact that there's no music. Thanks
This is perfect for me. I use music to speed up my mind when working (programming), but that same music runs through my mind when I'm trying to meditate and focus on internal world. Another distracting thought that is very attractive to my mind! Thanks for not having music and picking just the right times to gently nudge my runaway mind to bring back the object (subject?) of mediation into focus.
Love this simple and effective way to meditate. I use this breathing/counting technique several times a day to pull me back into the present moment. Thank you 😊
Really helpful …. Very easy and the guide keeps you on track . 20 minutes was as difficult as I thought. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to strengthen their practice and focus 👌🏼
These practices have been very helpful to bringing awareness to how neglected my mind has been as body part. It just needed to learn how to focus and relax and the effects of these sessions are just amazing over time.
This is honestly the best focus meditation. No background music just voice. He just let me do my own meditation instead of overpowering my senses too much. Next thing I noticed 20 mins has passed. Keep it up! Thank you.
I have meditation as part of my morning routine for a few years now, but since 2020 I haven’t been able to stop my mind from racing even during the session. It’s been a struggle. I’ve felt so calm after this video. It’s been a while since I feel this calm. Thank you ❤
I thought I wouldn’t like because there was no music, but it really helped to just focus on the breathing as the instructor said. I will use this when I find myself starting to get too many things on my mind throughout the day, thank you.❤
This was amazing I’m gonna be meditating to this 3 times everyday including the wim hof method before I started the meditation so I could’ve already been in a relaxed state
The thing this video stumbles on is the same thing all meditations do that don't have music. It needs bells in it to keep us from opening our eyes to check whether the meditation is still ongoing. Aside from that nice job with the detail of each step of the breathing and a nice relaxing voice. Super focused now.
Loved this, I'm a student and I get distracted so easily by my thoughts and random other things and sometimes I dont really realise. It's not even just school work sometimes when I'm practicing my instrument or even simply reading. I will be doing this everyday to train my mind to notice these distractions and guide myself back to what I was doing allowing for more productivity! Thank you!
@@senpai6464 sure, when I was doing this meditation I found that I was able to be more aware of when I got distracted and also find more strategies to help my focus. However when I'm in a louder environment this meditation is quite hard to do as there are frequent silences so in those instances I do one with light music in the back with headphones on so I can block out the noise and focus more.
I'm so glad I found this video. I've been having trouble motivating myself to focus, so I can practice interview questions, so I can get a job. I'm going to begin using this, along with/in between my sound effects focus videos when I get distracted. Thank you. P. S.: Also, I love how, in this video, the listener goes as far down into focusing on their breaths that they even notice the pauses in between the inhale and exhale motions. I counted those breaths, too, as 1, 2, 3, 4.
Great video, although the silence in between seemed a bit strange as I'm used to guided meditations with music or ambiance in the background. Soon I got used to it, and focused on the practice, which I think is a good thing, practice to focus makes you better at it!

I kept waiting for the “lecture “ - I get it now, the lesson was in the doing. This really was a “practice”. I listen to another channel. I will be back! Thank you! Joy. Oh. One more thing, I meditate in my tub, no, I won’t drown, and my cat came to check on me. The silence was deafening!
Day 6 feeling like I am br Better able to catch myself/mind wandering. Lots of drama the last few days so I am trying to refocus constantly. Thank you for this meditation
I have tried different meditation videos but This meditation is so helpful…felt very calm after it. During this meditation i starts listening to my own heart beats along with my breath which is totally different experience…i was totally into different universe. Get my senses back when he arrive at the end for closure. Will definitely do it everyday ❤️
I am trying this for the first time. I feel more calm and focused so far. However, I have severe ADHD so we will see how long term effects will be. I will be doing this regularly for the next two weeks to see if there is a noticable change. I do meditation regularly but this is the first time I've ever done this one.
Wow.. Dont know what you did but the meditation style was freaking good... I had times where i fekt gone.. I then started dreaming whilst awaken!!!! Sooo weird.. But then your voice would wake me somehow. It was super relaxing. Thank u
Day 3 I am going to stick to it. I was able to focus a little more during the meditation today. However, I got very little done as far as studying yesterday so I am going to hit it again today. I have covered all of the information but feel like it is not sinking in. My first quiz of my last semester is tomorrow. Wish me luck!
I'm not sure if this works for others, but I've found that exclusively nose breathing and bringing my breathing rate down as low as possible (slowest, biggest breaths possible) really helps me focus.
Wonderful video. I get very much distracted and wanted to overcome it. This is really helpful and useful for a student like me. Thank you very much for creating and sharing this amazing free content 😊😊

Mate, well done. Btw the silence of your microphone is impressive! Very comforting, congratulations. Can I ask you what have you used for the recording?
if youre just starting i would suggest to start with 3 minutes, then slowly and naturally improve the time after few days when you start to feel comfortable. 20 minutes is a lot and i could do 20minutes after 2.5 months of regular meditation. yeah you can do in the worst environment for focus meditation, but its going to get harder, but you should not do peaceful meditation in a crowded environment.
