Just heard a tornado siren in Forest Park, Illinois. Is this area supposed to be getting something, or do you suppose they're just testing on a day that isn't the normal day and time?
There's no thunderstorm going on and it's sunny but foggy at the same time.

In Michigan, you can't count out snow until Memorial Day. I once saw snow fall one afternoon in mid-June in the 70's.
Northwestern PA got snow flurries July 4 in the early 80's @KalmazooKandy
Colorado also. I have heard of snow in July back in ND, where I am from, and here in Colorado also. I remember when my kids were little, like 25ish years ago, my kids had to wear their winter coats the last day of school which was late May.😅

Dallas was right in the bullseye for that 15% a couple of days ago, and still well in there, so we just need to tread Thursday with caution.

This storm is not good, this storm will bring severe weather, a cold blast and snow, and the severe weather threat will expand anywhere from the southern plains or up to maybe the Midwest

I have a doc apt tomorrow, and gotta tree service coming on Wednesday to cut down a tree in the front lawn and crop/clean up the 8 trees in the back yard or back bazillion acre area.. trying to get those trees healthier, but, if the wind us too much, they might reschedule for a safer later date... Friday, I have a company delivering 20 tri-axles worth of enriched soil to first, help the trees and second. To level out the unkept lawn. . two birdies with one stone game .. the dump trucks should be okay, unless it rains, as all they are gonna do is merely back into the yard about 900 to 1500 feet and start dropping their loads into piles and work their way towards thr front... No science behind this, other then, getting the dirt piles back there, and i can spend all summer long pushing dirt around as my body permits the efforts... Lol . But the tree company, i dont know if they play in trees on heavier weather days or days thst pose a threat to their safety and well being... Hummm maybhave to have both dates pushed out, so the tree guys are not mountain climbing through a muddy field or getting their equipment lost in a bog of mud.. thank you for the update...
