The chapel should become a place of special interest in France and all over the world when completely restored! Perhaps it would be a great idea to create a leaflet for the tourist information locations, guide books etc eventually. Anything the chapel earned could partly fund additional costs needed for the chapel in the future, donations to charities and provide the funds to keep the chateau and its estate as lovely as possible for the present and future visitors and guests

The Countess of Nadaillac whose child died so young must have been overcome with grief. To help herself come out of her grief and depression it seems that unknowingly she turned to two things that modern day psychology recognizes as instruments of healing and a form of therapy. Firstly, the Arts. This we can see in the exquisite beauty of the Lalande chapel. How it must have slowly uplifted her spirits as day by day she helped create such exquisite beauty. The second was her spiritual belief which is also recognized as an instrument of healing. She was a survivor. Instinctively she turned towards age old ways of healing.
So, Stephanie your chapel is a place of healing. Your own positive spirit enhances that healing energy. It must be a very special place to pray…
