FYI: hope you don’t mind me saying but the strap that connects to Lancelot in his new car seat it meant to connect to a harness, not a collar in case of an accident, god forbid 🙏🏻 due to the strain on the neck 🙈

Don't tell my husband, but we were debating on whether or not our family needed a dog and with me watching the fun that Lancelot brought into the family, it put me over the edge and we got one. And, we love her. 😊

Lancelot really is adorable. The shot of him at the end laying on your pillow was just too much cuteness. I might have thought about possibly sleeping on the floor rather than disturbing him. lol

One of my mother's best friends was a designer for Hermes scaves, now retired. They are very noticeable as she signed all of them with a tiny little monkey in the pattern.
Now I'll have to inspect the Hermes scarf I found at a thrift shop... to see if her little monkey is there. My scarf is overwhelmingly nautical. I've never worn it, and probably never will... not my style. But, I LOVE silk.

What a gorgeous hotel, restaurant, and dinner! As the manager opened the cupboard to show you the room safe I noticed that they also provide two umbrellas in case it rains, one folding and the other full sized. That’s attention to detail.

Great clip, wonderful news about the chapel! Lancelot became vocal because he probably needed a quick break on patch of grass to pee + poo on.
I think that’s why they were stopping at different places, including a coffee break. I’m pretty sure they took Lancelot out every time to use whatever grass I could find.
My dog will speak up whenever we slow down or turn the car!
Or perhaps he sniffed a rat😂

A quick search online came up with all kinds of round brass grilles, and covers. Including one that was, to me, very suitable for the interior. More decoration!!

Never box yourself in, have a drink on the terrace and one in the lounge after dinner. The best of both worlds, and if you choose not to have a drink after dinner, a nice cappuccino is wonderful after dinner.

The narrow streets remind me of a Spanish trip. Hubby and I drove 3 hours to Granada, I’d picked out a gorgeous moorish boutique hotel in the old town with, according to the write up, amazing views of the Alhambra. The gps took us a wrong way down a street so narrow we didn’t even have a hands length with the wing mirrors pulled in on our little rented Peugeot and didn’t know if we could even get out the other end…..and then the fight started, by the time we got out it had escalated so badly that my other half who is actually one of the best drivers I know, threw a mega hissy fit about how I always had to choose something historic/small roads, bad parking etc etc and we ended up driving all the way back without even stopping. It was horrendous, we still don’t laugh about it now 😐
This video raised my curiosity- behind the scenes in the chateau, do you mainly converse in English or French. What a wonderful skill, to be a household of people who are multilingual.

Of course I love Lyon France; I moved there 1991 and moved back to Massachusetts in 1999 when my mother stared to gat sick.
My nephew got married June 2003 and hos sister/ god child got married in October 16th of the same year and I most definitely wanted to be part of the child they both had.
I'm now Grunckle and am so proud to be!
After my nephew's divorce ; he needed help after he received custody of his boy's, never did I believe 5a gay man would have the opportunity to help bring up those beloved little boy's!
They are now 19 and 21 they are my most beloved.

When I find a place that makes a good dairy-free ice cream I will definitely have that instead of a meal because it is such a treat. Looks like Philip knows all the best places for people with food allergies. Next time I’m in France (lol, I have never been there so I’m just being silly) I will need a guide to finding good dairy free ice cream from Philip! BTW, the scarf is gorgeous!! 💕

Stephanie before you paint the hideousholes in the chapel get some kids construction paper and try making different volor tubes grey black tan etc to see which color would be best for the air vents❤
A brief visit to Lyon, but then my heart skipped 2 beats when we started to drive through Avignon. This beautiful and enchanting city holds my heart in fond memories of discovering a truly magical place and finding out who I truly was aged 50 and free to explore both Europe and my life and what would unfold in the years to follow. Provence my heartfelt thanks for allowing me to take in the essence of true French lifestyle. Thank you you wonderful threesome for sharing the journey and the love, what a perfect way to finish my day ❤️
