    having the light correspond on the fs-7 is indeed useful. it's a bit counterintuitive that you need to set the assign to momentary while setting the FS-7 to latch

    Even though the set-ups you demonstrate aren't quite what I'm wanting to do, the way you go through them is an excellent introduction to the incredibly deep menu levels and functional customisation the RC-60 offers.
    I do wish Boss would offer a computer interface for all this stuff though (kinda like Fractal do for their gear). It makes it a helluva lot easier, particularly with a floor-based unit like this.

      Simon, thank you so much for your contribution in Super Thanks. It really means a lot and that good people like yourself are finding the content useful.
      Regarding your query of a user interface, there is a 3rd party piece of software currently in development, that will provide plenty of functionality and ways to control the RC-600 via a computer. It's called the RC-600 Editor and if you join the RC-600 Facebook group, you'll see what the editor will be capable of and be notified of when it will be out. Cheers, Ross.

    My FS-7 is not behaving like this! Firstly I've got no lights at all whether I'm plugged in to power or not. Also, I've switched it to "latch" on the unit and "Moment" on the RC, but I have to hold the FS7 switch down - It's just doing "moment". The latch switch has absolutely no effect on the unit's behaviour whatsoever! Plus no lights! It worked fine with the VE8 which is what I first got it for, but maybe it has developed a fault? What do you think?

    • @RossGallagherMusic
      @RossGallagherMusic  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hmm, I would suggest double checking the polarity on the FS-7. I have mine set to I, and the mode set to moment, unless I want the lights to match up with the RC. I also have things set to toggle in the RC and not momentary, again, unless I want them to match up. Make sure you're using a TRS cable plugged into the A&B input on the FS-7, if you intend to use both switches, and if you can't see any lights, your using the correct DC adapter which is centre negative, to ensure the power is being sent correctly. Hope this helps!

    I really like this looper ,,, the main thing is I want really realistic drums and its just a little frustrating that , although you teach how to use it , we dont get to hear the actual rhythm sounds ,,,,

    Is the cable you are using a TRS to TRS?

    • @RossGallagherMusic
      @RossGallagherMusic  Год назад +1

      It is. You can use 2 TS cables or one TRS cable. Hope this helps.

    which foot switch covers do you reccommend?

      I use the Sonicake ones most of the time. You can see them on my recent videos. The Mooer ones aren't too bad either.

      Absolutely! Plenty more videos to come with examples of FX and EQ settings but the main purpose of these initial videos is just quick run throughs of how you're able to customise the RC-600.
