Also, something that I'm surprised Taylor hasn't mentioned is that they often say "enjoy the fun" which is the literal translation for "Buon divertimento" instead of something like "have a great day". That's one thing that makes me die every time I think back on it.
I went years ago as a GP a year before they got Raptor. I remember being amazed by Blue Tornado's size and assumed it was world class, oh how wrong I was 😂 (I wasn't tall enough to ride). I got on Shaman when it was still called Magic Mountain and it was my first big coaster and the one that got me hooked
Gardaland is a theme park I miss I loved it with all my heart I now live in Florida and now im kinda sad and miss gardalands really good themed rides, I remember when I was in 3rd grade when oblivion black hole opened
I went back to it in 2021 and they queue system was abysmal (this was when Covid restrictions started to get lenient) you had to book online the ride (and you could only book one at a time but some rides you didn't need to book the cool ones tho you DEFO had to book 'em) with wait times of like 30 to 45 mins. Once the queue time was up you had to queue outside of the ride (something like an extra 10-15 mins) and THEN you had the privilege to queue in the queue section of the ride (which defeats the purpose of the online queue and the "social distancing"), but hey if you want to you could skip the queue with a flashpass that was roughly the same price of the ticket to have unlimited rides (my gf and I bought a 10 euro once each that gave us like 10 special tickets to skip the queue). All that experience really soured my day as I was hyped to go there. The rides ae great (Oblivion and Shaman being the highlights) but there was so much waiting and waiting that made no sense. Compare it to Mirabilandia that same year where you had to either be vaccinated or do a negative covid test and you're just let straight in without the bs of queueing throw an app, then queueing outside the ride to then queue inside for the ride. I hope they changed the system in these last years because if it's the same I don't think I'll ever go again. On the plus side the LEGO shop was great with some cool sets at discounted prices
Wow, I could actually enjoy Blue Tornado very much, so I'm looking forward to some other SLCs i'll ride this year. I love Gardaland so much, it's basically my 2nd homepark and in 3 months I'll be back :D
Ive visited gardaland around 7 times now, its the best themed park ive been to. And also a quick question, did you try the hidden darkride inside of the tree? Its really good.
Its a really nice park, but I wouldnt recommend going there during the summer holiday. Had to wait atleast an hour for every ride, and over 2 hours for all the coasters. Seqouia adventure is fun, but you didnt miss much. Its mostly the credit that makes it worth riding.
Been there in 2014, amazing experience for me, didn't manage to try all but Blue Tornado was special to me, everything else was very fun as well, I recommend going there
I absolutely love Gardaland. It has a charm very few other parks have. You got to accept the rides aren't the world's best but they are just fun to ride. Music at gardaland is great
if you like dark rides though it has some gems. well at least until they mantained them. i've recently been to disneyland and i feel like gardaland's pirates ar on par with the classic disney ride. now the other classic gardaland dark ride, egyptian themed, was turned into a jumanji ride.
Loved Gardaland. It was my first European theme park, and I was wowed by it. Solid coasters, awesome theming, and good food! I was amazed at how cheap everything was compared to US parks.
Nothing's better than those spray tunnels on a hot day. Wish more parks had them! Also, It's funny that you like the observation deck and the "protection" of shaman and also Baron 1898 in Efteling, and still didn't like Efteling that much.
I have been here before and went on a very off week of the year and the park was open for 6 hour and got on 20+ rides. Also got on Squioas Adventure which was a lot more fun than I had thought. Overall it was a great park!
I’m going here on a school hockey trip next year) I’m from scotland and we are going to play hockey in italy) and I’m so excited to go because I love roller coasters so much and hopefully we will get to ride them more then once because they look really fun

I went to Gardaland in 2014 I believe. It was the year that Oblivion The Black Hole was under construction so I never got to ride it. Also you did not miss anything special by not riding Sequoia Adventure. I have been on that coaster and it looks cool but it was one of the worst roller coasters I have ever been on. As for Blue Tornado it was very rough but it was not the worst SLC I have been on. Other than roller coasters, I really enjoyed the Egyptian themed dark ride and the park in general is very nice. Definitely one of the best theme parks I have ever been to.
I think their water rides (jungle rapids and fuga da atlantide are the best part of the park imo, they are so well themed and extremely enjoyable, plus they get u the perfect amount of wetness

I remember I roadtripped Italy and ended it with Gardaland and the gorgeous zoo near it. Raptor seemed like a cool, not too scary ride (I got a serious fear of heights so I'll go on but usually the first drops just freak me out when they're super steep). But then you get to the first drop that feels WAY steeper when you're on it, so that came as a surprise. But it's such a cool ride and the last barrel roll is soooo slow it feels like you're about to slip out haha! And when I was there they were testing Shaman with VR, which was pretty awesome bc it's the exact same coaster as Python in Efteling. So for me it was basically Python with VR. Downside was that the VR set would slip on and off bc the ride's a little rough here and there lmao, so when you get off your entire body is shaking because you saw glimpses of the real world and the VR world within milliseconds and your body just cannot cope with the disorientation haha
They had an L&T wild mouse at six flags new orleans! It was pretty wild but i could handle it as a kid, it was my second favorite in the park behind the incredible custom CCI
I also went to Gardaland last year and I was surprised. The theming is not amazing but certainly not bad either. And I really liked the roller coasters. I will definitely go to this park more often. (The kung fu panda roller coaster was very very bad)
The shooter vests definatley need to be a coaster parody line at some point so obscure but I don't know if any coaster at gardaland is worthy of a parody though
I went to gardaland for the first time half a year ago, and now watching this I feel so disappointed. Oblivion had a themed queue line back then?? When I was there (september 2022) it was just a regular boring queue, not even slightly themed or immersive. Those 2 seconds you showed at 1:58 look so amazing, where did that go? I suffered through a 40 minute line 4 times throughout the day, would have loved something fun like that. The most it had was the room just before the dispatch was slightly themed, with a static screen and writing on the wall that said "point of no return" with a sticker letter half missing...

For the most of us it was the classic "near home park" so if you are in the north like me(1h to here) you visit this viceversa the others. We spend most of our time comparing this to Mirabilandia and...wow...discovering we are one of the greatest is, well, unbelievable! Thanks, even you dislike this or not, is still fu***ng cool! If you want is full of italian channels about Gardaland, unlucky in italian, like Federtube(the best) and this park is always changing(in worst mostly, sadly)...my suggestion is checking it. And remember italians do use internet, we usually do tickets online(every ticket is easier online here with specific apps like MyCicero or similars...Gardaland do the ticket in website with 20% of discount).
Actually, Busch Gardens Williamsburg Sells Swords as well. There is the Loch Ness Monster they sell some swords and then over by Alpengiest in Rhinefield they sell swords and knives in the shops leading to Alpengiest. (I’m pretty sure the path leads to Alpengiest I haven’t been in a long time)
Next time you're there, you should give Movieland a chance, which is just several kilometres up the road from Gardaland. It's not for the counts, but for the uniqueness of their thrill rides. It's the "action park" of Europe and even Europeans consider some of what they do close to illegal. If even Europeans are baffled that this park is allowed, Americans should be too. ;-) I know it looks not that interessting from the outside, but it's a true experience on its own, nothing in there can be found anywhere else. :-)
I love the park, but do NOT like the staff. My sister got measured at the start of the Mammut queue, and was big enough according to the employee. At the station, she was measured again, and she suddenly was too little. That was already kinda weird. But then, my dad went out of the station with my sister, and my mom and I were going to sit on the coaster. The employee at the station started yelling at us and told us to leave the attraction, because my sister was too small. So because one person in the party is too small, nobody was allowed to go in it.
Kung fu Panda always has a huge line and I think it's because of the small trains. The surrounding area opens two hours after the rest of the park and when it does there are literally people RUNNING AS FAST AS THEY CAN to get on a wild mouse lol.
