Supercool, I can’t wait to try this, I’m struggling with photo emulsion for my t shirt designs I’ve done so fingers crossed 🤞🏻 this works ☺️
It's all a process! Happy printing!
This is a good method!! Have struggled with the photo-sensitive emulsion so will give this one a go. TFS!!
we think you'll love this method! thanks for tuning in and good luck!
at what process of the cup is the stencil applied. Before it is bisque fired? Does the clay have to be really wet, leather hard, completely dry?
Hi! We would recommend the clay be leather hard when the slip is applied to facilitate the best transfer!
Can also be done with photographs using lithography techniques as well. Fresco painting on wet clay with glaze if you have a big enough kiln.
excellent! thank you so much for the insight and thanks for tuning in!
Did he have to add any thickener to the underglaze to undergo the screen printing process?
That's one of the great things about Speedball Underglazes. They are a thicker viscosity than alternative brands and with that, can be used for screen printing without modification, right out of the jar :)
What speedball mesh and what paper he used?
Israel is using a 155 white mesh and is printing on newsprint
