I had a bearded dragon who lived off grid with me in a tiny camper trailer in northern British Columbia. I have photos from hiking trips and road trips of her next to mountainous glaciers. She thrived and loved life. I miss her dearly. She was so so so cool and so tough!!

I am happy that taking one from the wild is now illegal... but this would have been in the early 1950s. My Dad showed me how to hold her safely and even built a stone pond for her... but we took her back at the close of summer to the Huron River that runs through the city of Ann Arbor.

Snapping turtles are very underrated, I love Marge is so prominent on your channel and Clint's too . Most people don't care just a dumb turtle but most people could also learn a lot from them.

Sooo I responded to that by saying that I was surprised he hadn't already done it which was to put up a sheet of plywood or something in between the 2 cages for a visual barrier so that they couldn't see one another. Do you know what I mean.
Talking about prehistoric times with snagg & dale I wonder how A kamp Kenan back then would look ?. The kubota would have to be a strong beast possibly an older Marge ! You really need to put up a tarp between Bill and Slinky. I'm worried that they'll hurt themselves by rubbing their noses on the mesh. I also worry about the general stress levels. Slinky is territorial, and Bill is protecting his woman.
I live near the dismal swamp in north eastern NC and we have an American gator in the swamp. I’ve only seen pictures but it seems fairly large and seems to have been there for a while! I was so excited to hear about it after having moved from Florida!

I would start giving Marge neck scratches. I’m sure you can build up to safely petting and scratching Marge . Common snappers seem to appreciate their caretakers in captivity
You should have some kind of substrate in slinky hide don't you think in all the hides I would and I have kept a lot of reptiles Paul from England place called Plymouth in Devon x
I was just thinking about that. Only Chase and Diamond have substrates in their hide box as per Tom Crutchfield’s suggestion. But I would have put some in all the monitor hides as I don’t see it would do any harm and in some cases, maybe Inky’s would have less ants, mites etc to contend with. Something to think about anyway.

The toughest animal I keep is definitely a New Zealand Northland Green Gecko, im from NZ and these geckos natural temps range from 10-25c but can tolerate all the way down to freezing. They also give birth to live young so they can reproduce in cold weather and don't have to worry about keeping eggs warm.
Question for you at Fred’s lagoon. Stale and stagnant water that gators love, so do leaches. Do leaches attach/attack themselves to gators? And how do you get rid of them when you find them ( in your ponds, and on your pets)?
I'm always amazed how tortoise can actually dig in the ground and cover themselves.. i like how MArge just appears from no where and she just walks over the Caiman. I guess he bit her that one time and realized she isnt going away.. MArge is a freaking cutie thou.. ol
Kenan you really should put up a visual barrier between Bill and Slinky. It seems like unnecessary stress to put on the animals that can easily be remedied by a pretty low-effort and low-cost solution like a piece of plywood. Not to mention, Bill is gonna end up destroying his nose constantly slamming it and rubbing it against the wire. Please consider this

The giant crocodile of the early Cretaceous like the the super croc Sarcosuchus was unbelievably massive.
The water is clear and amazing. The crocs must be very lucky to stay there.
