- Hundreds of police swarmed the site of a pro-Palestine protest at the University of California in Los Angeles, arresting defiant demonstrators and dismantling their encampment.
The early morning raids at UCLA marked the latest crackdown by police in mounting tensions on US university campuses, where protests over Israel's war in Gaza have led to student clashes with each other and with law enforcement.
Student pro-Palestinian protests have begun to spread across UK universities, according to organisers, who do not expect to see any repeat of the violence witnessed at US campuses.
Talk’s Jeremy Kyle discusses the story with assistant US opinion editor at The Telegraph Poppy Coburn.

Really, do you know anything about this, or just what legacy bought and paid for media tell you.? Might want to watch alternative media, with real independent journalism. These students all over the US, and spreading to other countries, have a democractic right to protest, peacefully within their own uni campus, it was until they sent their police force in, which caused the troublez there were also journalists, and Jill Stein a US presidential candidate injured, I'm guessing you don't know anything about the US UK funded Israeli genocide, holocaust in Gaza Palestine of the Palestinian people either.

They go to university mate
Looks like their parents are going to financially support them for the rest of their lives😂😂😂
i think they will have a bigger career than you will have ever have in your entire life
@@stefansollberger5658 Naaaaah, they are working towards their own restrictions and destructions gleefully and willfully - kind of like the German people back in the early to mid 1900s.
@@stefansollberger5658 forming an opinion or making a judgement without knowing the facts is the hallmark of a fool.
Why?
@@GeorgeMcConnell-nq3vd and of course you know all the facts...good for you
Haven’t these people got anything better to do??
Yes, but bettering themselves isn't as much fun.
Better like what? Isn't standing up against genocide worthwhile? 🤔
most of them got no clue about life much less about palestine issues
But probably more than you do
Tell me one thing you know about me?
The Philistines were a people who vanished, and there is no connection to the new nation formed in the last century, who are basically refugees from Arab countries.

I'll call them squauters the landlord will serve his eviction notice real soon
Studying for a PHD!!! my grandson must be a genius then. I do not agree that the younger generation have a right to free speech/protesting, they haven't enough life experience to have an all round balanced world view to validate their opinions.
Oh dear, innocent and brainwashed, false media propaganda victim
All of these student pro Hamas encampments have been publicly applauded by the Islamic regime in Iran North Korea and Russia Not exactly an endorsement that I would want
And you are bothered because??? Not that I already dont know the answer, but can you tell us why the genocide of innocent Palestinians doesnt bother you!
@@mesmerised10the answer is bigger than your smooth brain can handle.
Cold war ended in 1989. Time to get help.
There is no genocide in Gaza. Hamas started a war that Israel didn’t want. In trying to prevent October 7 from happening again and again, as Hamas vowed to do, Israel is trying to get rid of Hamas. Unfortunately Hamas hides amongst Palestinian civilians, hence the death toll on the Palestinian side. By the way, many “civilians” that have been killed were actually terrorists that are members of Hamas.
the whole world should let israel fix their own mess tbf. Im bored of hearing about them now
Agree its annoying and scary
very normal sociopathic behavior
Why is my tax money going on these conflicts when it would be a better investment into my own country.
zionist state capture is a thing
Worry is these planks could end up in the ruling elite 😣
Pampered planks
They will become what they are fighting today.
Oil in $ out, $ in protestors out.
FREE PALESTINE
Perhaps you might go there and fight for the cause you so clearly espouse?
The students are terrorists not those committing a plausible genocide?
When your pro Hamas protesters are publicly applauded by Islamic regime in Iran and North Korea and Russia… not sure you have any moral high ground.
Exactly warped world we live in!!
Students have always protested about this or that Vietnam war etc civil rights for blacks etc.
This is no different
ARE YOU BLIND. THIS IS NOT THE SAME. THIS IS VIOLENT AND NOT PUT ON BY STUDENTS
@@Rose-te9rd why is it different they are protesting for the rights of Palestinians and the end to a war and an end to Apartheid. A call for freedom and equality. Sounds pretty similar to me.
Who's putting it on ?
Soros/blackrock etc funding, many paid for professional protesters not just students
Supporting terrorists is not the same thing
Funny how none of them protest about Ukraine. I suppose it’s not trendy anymore.
But they felt something unfair was happening so they came out to express what they felt.
The word 'felt,' is interesting. Suggests going with their emotions and we know that young peoples hormones are all over the shop. They are going with their emotions rather than facts which they are not grasping. Their emotions are wrought and out of hand.
@@janettedewar6617In fact, the opposite is true. Their common sense is what moved them in light of all this clear injustice that is sweeping the world and there is no one to stop it. It is a moral bleeding that needs a doctor. That is why God placed a safety valve in every healthy, non-sick heart. This is what moved these young people, whom some tried by all means to divert from understanding the truth, but God’s plan is stronger than them. These young people are hope, they are the living conscience of the world, and they are the ones who will shape the future and true peace, God willing.

Stop genocide
Let it go for another year. If it persists then say hmmm ...we need to give it several months of thought then have a meeting about forming a committee to arrange meetings to discuss it.
@@GeorgeMcConnell-nq3vd stop genocide
It’s completely right that students and young people generally challenge the status quo of the world they are inheriting. More power to them….they wont care a crap what the oldies in the establishment think.
Do the students even know what they are protesting about?
Wait until they are old if they get there. They are encouraging evil
If it wasn't for us oldies there wouldn't even be a school for these sissy people to go to.
Im 25 and i hate them they are wasting tax money, stopping people from getting an education. People are so short term and emotional. Once you learn how to be an adult not a sensitive whiney emotionally child then you can say fuck the oldies
