not sure about kyle's tucker kraft vs musgrave analysis. Kraft was better then musgrave in terms of counting stats production over the course of the season (and especially so in the playoffs), and they had an identical YRR of 1.4 over a very similar number of routes (253 for Kraft vs 249 for Musgrave). Kraft also had better YAC/rec and Yard before contact per reception, although musgrave had better target depth. The coachspeak index clips of LaFleur talking about his TE room very much suggests that both TE's are live to start. And to Musgrave starting over Kraft to start last year - Musgrave did have much better draft capital, so I think he always had the fast track to be the starter. To me Kraft is a lot better bet at cost
Rachaad White was the Number 4 scoring RB last year. Otton was a beast too.Mayfield crushed as well. Agreed Kraft got busy in the back end of the season, he'll score more than Gesecki or Likely ever will. Thanks for the content dudes go pack
The thing about Theo people forget is that he’s actually a better blocker than a receiver. He’s going to be on the field a ton early, and if he’s even half decent at running routes and sitting in a zone, DJ could turn to him for check downs. He’s not a smash pick by any means, but he’s a much better upside swing than the Cade Ottons and Mike Gesickis of the world.
khalil herbert might be my biggest oversight/blunder this offseason. i intended to make a strong bet against Swift and played that heavily through Roschon, i wish i had been more on Herbert in that time frame as well. still buying more shares cuz cost in rd15 is hardly more than rd17 or 18
Where did the narrative that Musgrave dusted Kraft start? Once Kraft started getting playing time he was just straight up better than musgrave was when he was playing. I’m like 1% musgrave but almost 20% Kraft lmao Neither were that impressive I guess but Kraft is known as a YAC guy. Kraft could be the breakout TE you want, they’re higher in him in the packers org I think. Kraft all the way, I don’t get why Kyle thinks he’s just a blocker
Also not that I’m taking much stock in it but I saw a beat report that otton was really impressing them in practice and think he could break out more Haven’t been drafting that much cause taking it with a grain of salt, but just starting to realize that he’s actually probably a decent TE pick at cost tbh. Also because of what Pat said about the snaps
I'm still wondering how Dobbins has defied science and become his best self, less than a year after blowing out his Achilles... which was a year or so after his major knee injury... which was a year or so after his previous knee injury... I'll stay with my 0% Dobbins in all of my 2024-25 Best Ball drafts and take my chances. I can't get the image of him hobbling down the field on 1-1/2 legs after coming back too early from the previous knee surgeries out of my head. It's not a given that anyone on the Chargers offense has to be a good draft pick. They could all be bad, and it could be the worst offense in the league. Poor skill players abound outside of Justin Herbert.
In his defense, if what Davis said about Josh Gordon is true and I recorded the 2nd-most receiving yards per game in a single season in NFL history at age 22 and then the NFL went out of its way to test me for drugs and alcohol at every possible moment after that (they once sent someone to wait for his plane to land in Vegas after the Browns last game to test him and suspended him for a year bc he had a beer on the flight), I might be p unpleasant to deal with too.
rams used to use ben skowronek at full back and moved him around as a dirty work wr. now that hes in HOU wouldn't jordan whittington be slotting into that role not a d-rob replacement?
I would have been with you on theo johnson had he actually looked decent in the preseason, I personally thought he looked terrible so easy fade of a bad player on a bad team.
The insanity of comparing guys with good QBs to Daniel Jones captured on tape. Is it the nickname? Danny Dimes? Or are all these guys except Davis taking crazy pills?
"Well don't be fkin nerds about it"~Davis Mattek 😂
anthony sherman, spike week guy lol
we’re getting unanimous cade otton votes over luke musgrave, what happened to the pod i love
lol there are people listening who will do this. Let them do it lol
Hysterically laughing while walking with the baby. Almost woke her several times.
We’ve all been drafting so long we are arguing leverage on theo johnson and what most likely will be a 37-350-3 season long line
Which is fine if 5-80-2 is week 17
Does Kyle hate Davis and cringe 50% of time he talks or just me 😂.
No Sean Tucker love? He’ll be RB1 in TB by season’s end.
Eh people were saying it last year too
I have 16% Kraft and 5% Musgrave. Not sure "nobody" has Kraft. 🙂
i see mattek on a podcast, and i click
Marginal players on bad teams are fine best ball picks. Pat won with Myers and Thornton on NE😊
Any show that dredges up the name “Gary Barnidge” gets an automatic ‘A’

White is a beast.
White went on to finish first in snaps and routes, second in carries and touches and fourth in yards among running backs.

Love you guys...keep up the good work! Thanks for helping me get through my long work days. When I win one of these hope to join y'all on a show :)
We should probably stop drafting Erick All's backup ahead of Erick All.
Barnidge? How about Tonyan

Why no interest in Philly RBs. I'd draft Gainwell or Shipley over any of these backups discussed
Great Theo convo
Lol way of Davis jinxing Brenden Rice.

i don't think it was a bad idea to be cautious while he was a cut risk. but we should be aggressive now imo.

Fun fact: according to ProFootball Reference, Jim Harbaugh’s nickname is “Captain Comeback”. Oh yeah, and also “Dog”. Yup, just “Dog”….

Cheers lads

Except Whittington is probably better at football then him.
Theo Johnson isn't even ahead of Daniel Bellinger on the depth chart. WTF are you guys even talking about?
johnson has played ahead of bellinger in both preseason games
Fake Darren Sproles on the Fake Saints 😅
Swift's nickname is Ziggy
I would have been with you on theo johnson had he actually looked decent in the preseason, I personally thought he looked terrible so easy fade of a bad player on a bad team.

Back up KC TE over Theo is crazy. Davis bag defending with every take
Steele league winner. If Pacheco goes down, Steele will be a league winner
There is no one more important to bestball content than Davis.
bottom left very annoying
Davis is unwatchable. Like like like like
Too many people on the pod.
Feels good having a ton of jaleel and Herbert exposure plus a bunch of Luke McCaffrey from earlier.
If that's what u feel good about, that sucks
dobbins over ford is a joke
After week 1 you'll regret those words
@@edpgroup i don't regret anything until week 17, week 1 doesn't matter
