- Let's cut open 13 Lake Superior agate nodules with my 10" lapidary saw! These amazing minerals are Daniel's and I was happy to cut them open for him and even more happy that they were absolute beauties!

Those were awesome cuts! My favorite has to be the light on one side, dark on the other. Perfect cut. But they were all spectacular!

The Ying and Yang rock was the coolest rock I've seen cut. I wouldn't of believe it if I didn't see it. Wow what a cool rock. Thanks for sharing 👍.
I love the dark agates with all those bands. I still haven't used my tile saw. Think I might have the wrong blade for it. The edge has a fiber material. Looks like a need a thin metal edge to cut rocks. Anyway they all were studs. Like how the nodes look plain on the outside but amazing in the inside. Agate awesomeness!

The last one shown is definitely my favorite as well, looks like a phantom flame with the radiant heat waves rising up, spectacular color contrasts!!!😍
I also like the one that was mostly dark with a little dot of yellow on the horizon
When I sawed rocks, I would put them in a wooden mold with rabbit wire, fill the mold with plaster of Paris, then I would cut thin slices out of the resulting block with the stones trapped in the
Plaster of Paris. It was always a gamble, but i very often got multiple slices from single stones that way. I would then make cabochons with the slices. Got some beautiful results with that method.
My favorite was at 3:01, but I loved them all. Thanks for sharing. 😷⚒

Wife and I like all of your videos. I need some advice on buying a cab machine. A 6" machine is more affordable. What size do you use? Is the 6" adequate?
I'd really appreciate advice from any with experience.
I think a 6” is a great place to start! 10” is able to cut larger but at least you’ll know you can cut most your stuff with it. Let me know if you have other questions or need a discount code 👍 (shoot me a message on IG or FB)

How do you know they are a LSA if they are complete nodule?
I’d they are found in the Lake Superior region then they are LSA
