If you were to spend 100 in real money on the game, your luck would change. You don't necessarily need to buy better players... just spend the money. E.A will change your luck for you. They have worked like that for years now.

@@eddiebear34I swear at times this statement seems so true. Earlier I was leading a game 2-0.. All of a sudden it all feels sluggish, Salah misses an open goal, then my goalie is basically pushed into goal (foul), which counts as an own goal. I did not manually control the goalie, so not sure how EA algorithm decided it was wise to hold the ball and walk backwards into goal..
It is easy to defend, but to do that for 90 minutes is a lot harder. 😅

It's a 50/50 in most of these situations. Cover the passing lane, he is through on goal. Going for the ball carrier, risking the pass to non marked player.
Solution is to aggressivly take the ball from him. Dont let him dribble
My players will open and not follow obvious cuts
I usually cover the pass and rush gk on ball carrier, works about 90% of the time
All you need is good connection all pro players have less that 15 connection.
Never seen a pro with connection like 30 ms which most players play
In my country standard is like 6ms max

Majority of the time defenders just look at the ball while ot slowly passes by them
Or you can just press R1 twice, and 2 CPU defenders will tightly mark his two best options for a pass, while you concentrate on closing him down.
Not many people use that in the game.
sometimes even i’ve activated this ai defending , strikers still run in front of my defenders and score a goal 😢
gotta hold L2 to jockey too while you’re doing it

Best tip I can give defending,
be patience.
Just tap rb twice for the double press, Ai will mark a couple of free players at least
Use that. Is just pressing R1 twice for once enough or do I gotta hold it?

Also use gk rush or gk cross intercept or gk go in the middle of the box if you definitely know he will pass to the central striker

This strategy works very well
Also mention getting good full backs
Just use team pressure during these situations inorder to tackle that winger's every passing possibilities(your team members will try to cover every other opponents)by tapping RB and holding it(RB)
Just double tap R1, RB. Check that the light green cursor is above your other defender, double tap again, if you need to switch to another defender. That's how I stop conceding from wing play... I play in elite. YNWA ❤

You can lock and unlock it by double tapping it over and over again! 😉

use the right stick and move your keeper out a tad bit so he can make the extra jump, good players will watch for this though and focus on near post, that’s where you gotta jockey and position yourself right

How do I stop my other CB from running up field at the same exact time that the forward makes a run and receives a wide open pass , I’m controlling one defender and the other one decides it’s time to take a half time break so he runs off and they get a free goal. This game is horrible, I’m sure if I spent money and got VVD or Maldini I wouldn’t have these issues
thats cool, I mean I do the same thing but I get a penalty for no reason, really got me questioning why I spent the money on this game
As an ex youth goalkeeper knowing shooting angles passing angles and success rates according to goal angles and spaces i know what to do but prob is i can't execute it. It is sad that my football inteligence more than enough to defend any scenario but cant do it :/
I come here because i oftenly hold the enemy, hoping my teammates will back to cover the opponent's passing options. But no, they were just jogging and watching like some woods.. mostly, i was conceded in this situation because the opponents gave the pass and no pressure to the receiver while i was trying to do double job : covering the shoot area and the passing option
im the one who attacking from side with man city, my friend is always real madrid and its annoying , his gk is just OP, any improvement for score? ( i give ball to foden , dribl 2-3 then i lose the ball close the gk)
No guys in the last clip click double X for playstation or double A for xbox and it will go to the player without the defender nor keeper seeing it
This is the reason I win most of the games in ai legendary mode even I don't have many tricks with me, I have found that if you slide tackle and miss then the ai get like 100% most powerful somehow and the goal is guaranteed.

Just double tap the jockey button till you see the blue cursor. The AI still mark i them for you. You just have to time that well

Yup.. he acts like it’s all skill but in reality it’s mark his best option & let the ai do everything else for you, it’s a joke.
I still win & could do it without parking the bus but it’s just terrible to have that in the game, people think they’re good when their ai does it all for them
Honestly defending is the hardest thing in fifa but if you got Tory vvd and Ramos or maybe Tory militao with ww Mendy your defense can carry you countless games the literally auto defending and never fail on postioning
You can have a goat defense with just a lucio and umtiti fantasy, or maybe rudiger militao base, literally just comes down to positioning of your defense and second man press

It’s different when you’re using Ramos with crazy acceleration jockey 🤣
Defending in Legendary isn’t easy at all. But the games are entertaining and frustrating as hell with loads of goals
You need to learn this so you are comfortable using it, you can also use tracking runs by double tapping r1, don't use it all the time as you will still conceed, it's all about positioning and patience, practiced it loads on squad battles, it takes a while to get used to it

what i learned from this video is : get FB ramos in your defence and sprint on the opponent, he will do the job
This is all fun n games until u run into the player that runs down the wing n mercilessly attacks the goal at that one specific angle that results as a goal every single time
Unless he has griezmann or son then you can watch him finesse it into the far corner

Most people play like this and no one can break it if you defend correctly. It’s when people go out of this stupid meta it gets hard to defend; crosses, actual skill moves, possession game and playing more central. Wayyyy harder to defend don’t know why more people don’t do it

This won’t work on mbappe best thing to do is to triple tap r1 to press him while you jockey and use triangle as a last resort to bring your keeper out as well

I bought it. Played 3 games. Deleted it. This game is gone to shit and I'm no longer wasting my money on it. Started in 2004. Played every game since. Rip 2024 😢
How to positioning players
....and then AI takes a massive deuce on all you know and just freezes your players until you concede...and if you do take the ball, it just makes your player pass it right back to the opponent. This game just isn't healthy.

And i shoot with 0,1° angle and its a goal and your mad
Connection is king.. defeated 20 million coin teams on 22 ping and lost to gold teams with 36 ping.. players dont even react to input ... never getting better than 22 ping while pros complain for getting above 10 infuriates me
I play on 130-150ms lol
My opponent will pas to the keeper and start doing a billion tricks till he reaches my goalkeeper and then dribbles him as well because Fifa(now Fc) sucks
