That's pretty. I would have red, white, blue, white, red stripes and blue backing and binding for a different look. There are so many variations, it would be hard to decide.
Perhaps a scrappy binding?? Left overs from the strips but all red or mix with some of the blues in the star. You would have to audition them. The table runner looks great!! I love it❤️
This table runner is beautiful thank you. I am also commenting here regarding an older video of yours called "how to manage and store your fabric scraps." I DO have a bin under my desk for 'dog scraps" but I noticed that you throw many into yours that people like myself who use teeny tiny scraps would love to use! My leader/ender is postage stamp blocks that are only 1 1/2" squares. Have you considered having a small flat rate box under your table for the larger scraps that you are not able to fit in your containers? You could sell them for a small fee...plus the postage and still have some left over for the puppies!!! Please let me know as I think this is a great way for us to get more assorted scraps in our quilts. Happy sewing!
I love floating stars! I can see this being made into a quilt. Is there a formula on how to figure out the size squares if I want to make a different size floating flying geese?
What I did was this: Measure the pinwheel block (Mine measured 6") Divide 6 by 2 = 3 add 1/4 inch so the square size for one star point was a 3 1/4" square I think that will work for any size block.... another example: If the block had been 10" then the blue squares would have had to be 5 1/4" each Hope this helps!
Thanks Michelle! Cute pattern. I hope you’re enjoying your time off. 🤗
