I just wanna say that out of all the years I've watched your content Nick, LEGO Rewind has been my favorite series. Not only did I get to see what old LEGO themes I missed out on, I also got to see what LEGO themes I missed out on when they were around, like Hero Factory and Chima. Your passion throughout this whole series, even for some of the episodes with themes you didn't care for, is something I wish more people had. Great work as always.
I think I can speak with all of us when I say that we will stand by you even after this series is finished. We don’t watch this channel for the LEGOs, we watch you for your personality. You put so much effort into your scripts and editing, your videos are some of the best videos on the website. We will support your future channel decisions.
Thank you... and yet somehow, I still manage to mess up something in a video where I adress my other slip-ups. That bit where I tease the finale isn't supposed to have that ocean graphic, but.... somehow it made it in there after I'd triple-checked everything else. Oh well.
Fun Fact about Jack Stone, my friends replaced me with him at one point. No serioussly, long story short we were playing and had an on going story and to get around the fact I was ill one day they said I'd been shrunk down. No idea how I got back up to size though.
i actually started crying when you told me i couldn't search up your vids and won't get in my notifications i love your series keep doing what you love nick tootles
This series gives me such a strange sense of nostalgia. I never played with legos that much as a kid (especially after I discovered the internet) but watching Lego Rewind makes me feel like a kid again. It's strange.
Talking about the crossovers, I was babysitting my ex's niece after school one day. I had the big Scooby-Doo mansion set and the McFarlane FNaF 1 pizzeria, so she had the Scooby-Doo gang go to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Now that I think about it, I'd kinda like to see that crossover
You know that feeling you get when you have to say goodbye to a friend, and there’s not only no way you can stop them from going, but you know very well that it’s for the best, yet you still don’t want them to? I can’t help but feel that right now knowing the series is almost over.
I still have some of those old Jack Stone minifigures. It always annoyed me you couldn’t take them apart, but I think one of the best uses I had for one of them was using it as a driver for the Cub Scouts’ Pinewood Derby. These videos have been fun, dude. I may just check out Planet Ripple when I get a shot.
I feel like the final episode is going to gut punch me so hard. I’ve really enjoyed this series from a casual viewing, getting to relive memories from being huge into LEGO as a kid in the 2000s, and Bionicle was the cornerstone of that. Thank you for this work.
Your Lego rewind series is honestly one of my favorite series even when it comes to this stuff that you don't even like that much you still try to respect it and actually put an honest opinion I also enjoyed the fact that you would introduce themes that I didn't even really know existed for an example I didn't even know about Vikings now that's honestly one of my favorite lines also Bionicle is honestly one of my favorite videos you made your passion Lego is very inspiring... Honestly I'm kind of sad that you're done making videos.
As excited to finally get a bionicle episode a part of me is fairly upset knowing this series is ending. At least finding LEGO rewind introduced me to some of your other great content that I hope you continue. At least we got some great episodes and a great community we made throughout the series
Out of all of the themes covered throughout this series, my personal favorites were Technic, Adventures, Exo-Force, Knights Kingdom, Harry Potter/Star Wars and the Dank Themes episode. In fact, I think it was because of the Exo-Force episode that I found this series in the first place.
I’m both excited and kind of sad about that final episode, bionicle is my favorite LEGO theme of all time but it’s sad to see the series end though I knew it was coming so excited to see that episode and thanks for the memories of gained from this series and things I have been reminded of.
I've spent this week watching all of Lego Rewind in order. Despite the fact that I followed the series as it was being made these last few episodes still give me major feels. I'm not ready to rewatch the finale yet cause I know I'll get way too emotional. It'll have to wait till tomorrow. Still, I just wanna say this series was such a big factor in me getting back into Lego. You introduced me to themes like UFO and Chima that I wound up buying sets from and loving. Thanks for the experience, Nick.
Gaaah that MNOG chant sound is so good to hear. That one small voice sound just inspires so many feelings. Dare I say it might just be one of the most iconic sounds in all of Bionicle.
It's been an absolute pleasure to watch this whole series Nick. I truly extend my deepest gratitude for making me appreciate Legos again. I was essentially at the point of going away from keeping up with Lego news when you launched your first episode, after that I fell right back in love with Lego for it's awesome charm it had and still has to a degree, and of course, I can't wait for the finale, I freaking love Bionicle.
I love this series because it showed me themes I never knew existed and also I just like listening to someone talk about lego themes. I don’t want this to end but if it must then I can just rewatch the old videos because to me they never get old. So thank you Nick for giving us this amazing content that we can cherish forever.
Nick on Planet Ripple There’s also Captain Ironhook, who was introduced with the Islanders sets. Though, he’s basically just Redbeard with a tattered red shirt, same face, hat, and all.
Seriously, that ending, hearing that oh so familiar, almost haunting tone, seeing the canister, it gives me chills everytime. Thank you Nick. I've loved Legos since I was 4, and I have loved what you did here with Lego Rewind. You sir, are Master Builder.
First off, I deeply thank you for finally giving me the name “Living in the sunlight, loving in the moonlight”. I have been looking for YEARS for the name of that song ever since I first heard it in the Spongebob episode “Help Wanted”. But I’ve found Rewind to be just an absolute treasure trove of information that comes up more times than I care to admit in casual conversation. The entertainment value is truly spectacular, given my multiple repeat binges of the series, so I must thank you for that. The joys I get from seeing sets from my technically still going childhood is unrivaled, even in this episode, with the big grey castle from the eighties. Good times. And that’s something that many of us will lose, or never discover because of the new COPPA laws. So like a true ‘Merican, I’ll complain in conversation about that. But truly, thank you for creating this series
Thank you for the support throughout. Also, that is unironically one of my FAVORITE songs. It's so goofy, it always makes me wanna go for a walk on a sunny day.
Thanks for the nostalgia. Watching this show has brought back so many fond memories and even lead to a lot of silly conversations with my aging mother, who was a logo fiend herself back in her day. Lol. I'll miss the series when it ends, all the more so if it ever becomes a pain to rewatch episodes (I do enjoy going back to the ones on themes i particularly loved as a kid). But before the comments disappear. Many thanks. Lego has always seemed so earnest in their attempts to make the world a better place, to be ethical in terms of their messaging. And this series has done that as well. Been good, wholesome and brilliant. Such things make the world a better place and you should be proud.
Now when there is only one episode left I would like to tell you how much I admire the efort you have put into this amazing series. It is easy to see how the quality got better with every season, and even the very first episodes had so much soul in them, that it easily made up for the few minor imperfections in them. Lego was a huge part of my childhood and I always loved looking for older sets to see how it changed over time, so now, when I found your show it was amazing, I dont think I ever was so attracted to any project on RUclips ever, it just always felt so personal, I think you made the right choice to have your RUclips videos as a hobby not a job, it just gives it a passion project feel which is clearly seen and it makes it even better. In one of your episode you said that you know that many people who came here for Lego will probably leave when the series end, but I don't think that's the case. Now there is only one episode left I absolutley dont want to leave, I saw what you can do and I am shure that whatever you do next will be just as great if not better. Thank you for this great experience. My best wishes to you and I hope we will see something new from you soon. P.s. I am was so happy that Power Miners made the list and now, when I now that it was intended as one of the only four episodes I somehow feel even better.
it's been a fantastic ride throughout this series. I always felt I was going back in time to a period where I always wanted to be. I'm gonna miss this series. I have loved every minute of it and I'm kinda sad to see it go but I know damn well 2 things. 1, this series is gonna go out with a bang and 2, I'm very happy to say that I was part of this series and was there to see it. Thank You Nick for exposing me to many themes I never knew existed and just for some general fun times that made me forget my life and transport to a simpler time. I'll miss this series but I thank you for letting me be apart of it. RUclips is just killing itself and we are gonna go down with it. But we could always move to another site. I'm probably moving to Vimeo or something because my content counts as kids content. You could too. Sure, your channel and content might not be as advertisable for more people to see but at least you won't have to pay a fine for literally existing. I just want to apologize for RUclips and their actions and how it's affecting you and me and everyone else. I love your channel and I love your work. Even if you moved to another website, I think that a good portion of us will still be with you, Nick.
This has been easily one of my favourite RUclips series ever. I enjoyed every single episode, regardless of the LEGO theme it was about. If you decide to keep making LEGO content in the future, regardless if there will comments or notifications, you can be sure that I will be there, even if that would require me manually checking your channel. Thank you again Nick for your amazing work, this has been a fun ride. I can't wait for the final episode!
Haha, I was a very young kid back then and had many Jack Stone sets because they were just the new LEGO sets in my age category so my family bought them for me. I don't think I have ever played more with LEGO sets than these ones because when I got older, I just built the sets and maybe later rebuilt them into something else.
13:00 when I get the Mars space sets from this year, I'll be glad to once again send along photos with Life on Mars. Also, I now own every LoM set and want to setup most of the sets together
Lego rewinds always been a bumpy road for me. Not that I never enjoyed your videos, but seeing your mixed emotions about making them. Glad to see that in the end you still love the lightning in a bottle you caught, the timing was perfect. The lego youtube community was at its best right before youtube got in trouble with the FTC, now we're all waiting for the inevitable. Thanks for the years of being real with your retrospectives of the many themes that came and went, your takes always felt the perfect balance of nostalgia filtered without running away from why certain things were left behind.
Thanks for everything Nick, I can't thank you enough, you made me remember soooo many things, sets from when I was just 5, 7 or 11 years old, remember how I take apart my sets to make my own things, my stories, my worlds I visited... And i'm still in them, I'm not autistic, but, think about things like this, how I still like to imagine these worlds over and over, makes me think I am in reality. I kinda admire you for what you've done, for how with your conditions and problems, you've made it big with these projects... Making me look to myself and think "If he can, I can to" Well, thanks for everything, greetings from Chile, and pardon my writing, I'm just 15 years old and english ain't my first languaje, till the next time
It's interesting to see the evolution of this series. Sure, there are some bumps here and there, but somehow every new video adds something. For example in the beginning you were contemplating the fact that there isn't much left to say about Bionicle after your other videos, yet now you seem to have decided to make a rewind on it. On a different note I really can't stress enough how much this has helped me through some moments. It has reminded me of the joy of discovering new things and has pulled me out of my "dark age". So thank you Nick, and thank you people in the comments for your efforts and the community you have built around this series. Even though I arrived a little late I enjoyed every second of it. And while the way RUclips has acted recently makes me sad, since something similar to this might become impossible to create, there is at least the hope that if more children see these videos it might lead to some of the themes covered here making a return.
Just want to thank you for covering all these themes! It’s so cool to see what I grew up with being talked About, but what I love Most is the look into the childhood of those who came before me and those who follow me. Thank you so much for your work on showing me the past and the present In a light I had never considered. Stay safe and I’ll be there for that Bionicle episode
Wow Nick, I’m really gonna miss this series. I owned alpha team sets when I was little, but I had no idea it was an entire theme! It was so interesting to look at all these old forgotten themes and very informative to see how LEGO has changed. I truly applaud your amount of effort and research put into LEGO Rewind, and as a massive bionicle gen 1 fan, I’m very excited for the finale :)
Thank you, Nick. I was autistic too, and came to love Lego at an early age, but was never plugged in to media and missed a lot. Your videos either make or ruin my day looking back on what was before my time or I missed. Please keep it up.
Thank you for starting this series, every episode has made me smile and feel nostalgia. Your knowledge on the subjects is incredible and you presented it in a very entertaining way, I found myself watching episodes on things I thought I'd never be interested in but by the end, I was hooked and even looked them up online to try to buy them lol. Thanks for doing this and I can't wait to see where things go after this, content wise.
Since the moment i saw the exo force episode all those memories playing with the themes you talked about came back,i was remimded about days and days of building and imagining stories from my childhood, im very gratefull for that and im really exited for the big finale. Thank you nick
That intro was kind of nostalgic after all these episodes . That piece of music is one that I think is the best lego has ever come up with. Wish the full version existed out there somewhere.I’m glad I’ve been able to watch this series grow since the beginning and I’m sad that it will be end int soon. (However I definitely can’t wait for the Bionicle episode. Also I can’t believe my comment about Zack the lego maniac got featured in this video.
I'm so surprised that I heard actual music in this video. How many years has it been? I'm not sure. But thank you Nick. This is a series I'm always excited to see. Even though you don't consider yourself one, you are the strongest Lego RUclipsr out there. All the other guys do it for money and get mixed up with the community drama and shit like that. But to see you stand on your own, it's awesome. The best representation of the brand itself. Keep doing what your doing, you have my support till the end✊.
Hope you are doing well Nick! I discovered your channel very recently, and I have binged pretty well all of your content, Thank you for your time doing series such as this, it is so clear that it is a passion project, I am glad there are fans of lego like yourself that help us, your fans and fellow lego lovers.
It’s been a great run. I’ve been here since MNOG watching off and on, but Lego rewind really kept me coming back. It’s been one of the few series on this site that I was genuinely excited to see the next episode of. It’s a real shame that this COPPA stuff has to end it all, but there’s not much we can do about that now. I look forward to whatever your next project here is.
The Underwater Robot is one of my favorite recent sets, and I got major Planet Ripple vibes from it after seeing your illustrations. I'm glad to see it get some love on Lego Rewind! From one AFOL to another, thank you for making this series. It's been great to learn about Lego's vast history (as an Exo-Force fan, that episode is one of my favorites), and I can't wait to watch the Bionicle episode. Best of luck with finishing this series, and your future endeavors.
Because of your series I’ve learned so many new themes existed and I’ve found out where some of my pieces come from thanks for making this series may nostalgia guide you May RUclips be fair somehow to let content creators continue their all ages content
You don't have to mark these videos for kids fam, you realize that the FTC "The people who check and make the lawsuits" allow for general audience content. The people who need to be worried are those who upload animations "For children" And toy reviews largely hosted by kids. The best way to guide yourself is this "Does this seem like Cartoon network around 9pm or nickjr..."
i honestly love this series so much. i’ve loved learning about classic lego themes that my aunt or older sister were probably into! my personal favorite little bit of this episode was the part where you talked about some cmfs. the voice for the wrestler cracked me up and i’ve been trying to find where the sounds come from
I started watching Lego rewind some time towards the end of season 1. If I recall correctly, the Adventurers rewind was the first I saw. At that time, my bro and I had been digging into nostalgic Lego lore, so it must have come up during those searches. I was so stoked to find your channel, especially because all the content at that point was from themes I grew up with! It perfectly supplemented me and my bro's own research and provided the fondest trip down memory lane. When season two came around I was equally excited that I'd get to see even more of this rare niche content ( there are lots of Lego reviews out there, but only one Lego rewind). As the series progressed, I continued watching not just for nostalgia, but also because I enjoyed hearing a fellow afol's take on themes, the channel's own lore, discovery, and because the content is genuinely great! It is a huge disappointment that this site is mutating for the worse. Before these comments disappear, I wanted to say thank you for all the content you've produced and thank you for the memories in this brief golden window of time to be a Lego rewind fan. Looking forward to the final installment in the series!
Hey man I love how thoughtful this series has been. You're very genuine! Your PR designs have intrigued me and I'll stay subscribed for your future content :)
Noooo This is a true tragedy I am sorry this has happened to you I enjoyed the journey I am so happy this was here in my life. This series has encapsulated my love for LEGO PlanetRipple if you are reading this thank you Thank you for everything it has brought joy into my life. I did not come here for the facts I came here for the thoughts and the love that you put into the series. The way you describe everything from the marketing and box art too the prices themselves. Thank you you are a legend I am sad to see it go but happy that it was there when I needed it Thank you
I have loved watching this series, I think I found it around episode 10ish and I've been here since, I'll miss it but I'll continue to stick around for your other content too, truth is throughout I feel like I've come to now you and your channel better and as such I look forward to whatever you do in the future, especially ripple. Thank you for this series.
I love your series . When i was coming back to lego , you kept me hooked . Two year later as a 15-teen year old i look on my bionicles standing on the self and i think ,,thank you”
Words cannot even begin to describe how grateful i am for this series. I have fallowed your channel since 2015 and i even loved the original bionicle videos you made back then. It really is tragic that a channel such as yours is gonna suffer along side some of my other favorite creators. Original I found the lego rewind series at the perfect time last year. You helped me reconnect with all the older themes that i took for granted as a kid because my dumb younger self was primarily into star wars and indiana jones. Again thanks for all the effort and time you’ve dedicated into this series.
Thank you for this series! I’ve been watching it since the beginning of 2023 (it’s February now) after I went looking for videos on the history of Lego sets. My first introduction to Lego was receiving a large box of random Lego pieces from a mix of several different sets with no idea what sets they were from. Your videos not only helped me learn of old sets that I didn’t know about and inform me of the history of Lego, but also more personally finally figure out what all those random pieces are. I constantly caught myself saying “oh that’s where that’s from” or “oh I have that set” and I would have probably never have known if it wasn’t for you. The work you did for this series to truly appreciated!
Liked the end bit. I went through some “lack of motivation stuff” with some of my work on instagram (also Lego stuff) I mainly started losing motivation because I barley ever got comments. Or a community I could talk with. I’ve seen talked with some about my motivation issues and am glad I’ve seen that at least some people care. I’ll be sad when Lego rewind ends, and even safer when the comments are gone, but I’ll always have my memories, and this channel to stay with. Thank you.
Had tons of Jack Stone stuff as a kid and had been waiting for you to cover it. Thank You. Just actually sold it all this year. Never knew it was so hated, because I loved it so much as a child. You could say it did its job.
I’ll miss this series so much! Your witty remarks, rapid fire dialogue and smooth transitions all coupled together talking about something as amazing as LEGO has truly been a treat! Good luck in the future with all possible works.
I've loved everything about this series from the history behind themes, to nostalgia from old sets I used to own, to your choice of music (I mean come on Daft Punk, DMC, and Ratchet & Clank). You've shown me and many others themes I had no idea existed and why some themes that are overlooked can be amazing when examined more closely. While I understand that there isn't an infinite number of Lego to look back on and not all of it interests you I'm grateful for this series and I'm glad you made it Nick, thank you.
I've been following Lego rewind almost since it was created, but I've never left a comment until now. i just want to say thank you, for your thorough look into the history of Lego, and your unwavering commitment to honesty and kindness. so once again, thank you nick!

As soon as the music started playing i got goosebumps, it's a perfect way to end the series

I don’t have a pun this time, but I’m gonna miss doing them

Whew that ending really gave me a strong mood to replay mnog.
Thanks for your hard work man
Now when there is only one episode left I would like to tell you how much I admire the efort you have put into this amazing series.
I'm sad that the series is ending but I'm excited for the finale of thr series
13:00 when I get the Mars space sets from this year, I'll be glad to once again send along photos with Life on Mars. Also, I now own every LoM set and want to setup most of the sets together
7:03 “Just take the building and push it somewhere else”
"We should take Bikini Bottom and push it somewhere else!"
29:00 Nice Jobby the Hong cameo. Also, next time, let us all gather round friends, and listen once again to our legend, of the Bionicle.
Making me look to myself and think "If he can, I can to"
Well, thanks for everything, greetings from Chile, and pardon my writing, I'm just 15 years old and english ain't my first languaje, till the next time
Not a usual commenter. But dude I'm gonna miss these. Go out on a high note. You got this man
It's interesting to see the evolution of this series.
You were, and still are, one of the few channels out of the others I follow that actually made content I looked forward to seeing more of.
I discovered your channel very recently, and I have binged pretty well all of your content,
Thank you for your time doing series such as this, it is so clear that it is a passion project, I am glad there are fans of lego like yourself that help us, your fans and fellow lego lovers.
You didn't miss the fact that Cole was the leader in the show. It wasn't stated there, but only in a book that was unsurprisingly written by Greg.
Because of your series I’ve learned so many new themes existed and I’ve found out where some of my pieces come from thanks for making this series may nostalgia guide you
May RUclips be fair somehow to let content creators continue their all ages content
You don't have to mark these videos for kids fam, you realize that the FTC "The people who check and make the lawsuits" allow for general audience content. The people who need to be worried are those who upload animations "For children" And toy reviews largely hosted by kids. The best way to guide yourself is this "Does this seem like Cartoon network around 9pm or nickjr..."
i honestly love this series so much. i’ve loved learning about classic lego themes that my aunt or older sister were probably into! my personal favorite little bit of this episode was the part where you talked about some cmfs. the voice for the wrestler cracked me up and i’ve been trying to find where the sounds come from
Look up the "Ultimate Warrior." The minifig is clearly based on him. XD
Im commenting just so I can before I can't. This is my favorite series on RUclips.
Hey man I love how thoughtful this series has been. You're very genuine! Your PR designs have intrigued me and I'll stay subscribed for your future content :)
Noooo
This is a true tragedy
I am sorry this has happened to you I enjoyed the journey
I am so happy this was here in my life. This series has encapsulated my love for LEGO
PlanetRipple if you are reading this thank you
Thank you for everything it has brought joy into my life. I did not come here for the facts I came here for the thoughts and the love that you put into the series. The way you describe everything from the marketing and box art too the prices themselves. Thank you you are a legend
I am sad to see it go but happy that it was there when I needed it
Thank you
I have loved watching this series, I think I found it around episode 10ish and I've been here since, I'll miss it but I'll continue to stick around for your other content too, truth is throughout I feel like I've come to now you and your channel better and as such I look forward to whatever you do in the future, especially ripple. Thank you for this series.
Hidden Side is like a D&D game where everything is mimics
I am 12 and I love this series. I wasn't alive for a lot of these themes so it's nice to learn about them.
Thank you.
I come from the future! The ninjago plane/mech does NOT have knees though it IS pretty cool.
What a journey.
Had tons of Jack Stone stuff as a kid and had been waiting for you to cover it. Thank You. Just actually sold it all this year. Never knew it was so hated, because I loved it so much as a child. You could say it did its job.
Crazy that you considered these videos "just a hobby." They are fantastic!
rip hidden side :(
I’ll miss this series so much! Your witty remarks, rapid fire dialogue and smooth transitions all coupled together talking about something as amazing as LEGO has truly been a treat! Good luck in the future with all possible works.
Well I enjoyed this series During its run and i will Continue too. I really wanna thank you for doing this for so long.
Well we still have the commitment
