  • Conrail still rules, it looks like mid-train helpers are being tried out. Also some double stack trains have now helpers. Amtrak's F40PH have been replaced with the new Genesis engines. Plenty of Ballast Queens in regular train service.

    That first coal train... what a treat! I just love those turbos howling into the distance. Rail therapy, this is! I'm gonna stream this into the TV with the sound system when no one's home. 😁

    Conrail did a brilliant job saving northeast railroading. On a visit to Pittsburgh this year, I saw many coal unit trains running.

    I can't get over the shot at 18:13, it's so cool to see those sd60ms just peeking out from behind a faster train and just hearing hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm from it. I love shots like that. God I wish we had stuff like that today.
