- 🚌 Embarking on a winter journey to explore the captivating beauty of Croatia in a motorhome or campervan is a unique experience that can't be missed. This adventure offers the opportunity to immerse in the country's diverse landscapes, relish in its affordability, and explore infinite travel opportunities.
❄️ Winter is a superb time to explore Croatia; the tourists have retreated, and it feels like you own the entire country. However, this season does offer a dash of challenge as most campgrounds are closed, making the resupply of essential items and discharging a bit more difficult. But no worries, there are still a good number of campgrounds that are left open, and empty, and water can be easily supplied at gas stations.
🌤️ The coastal weather is usually mild and occasionally cloudy, but the sunsets are guaranteed to leave you in awe. Taking a trip up the mountains to places like Velebit National Park will present the chance to encounter snow, ice, and if you're lucky, bears!

4. Krk Island
5. Velebit National Park
🛑 Do note that wild camping is not permitted in Croatia, but due to the lack of tourists in winter, this rule is not strictly enforced. Just remember to park smartly. Also, it's required to register with the local authorities.
🍽️ And let's not forget about the food! Adriatic cuisine is delectable, although the number of open restaurants can be fewer in winter. But no worries, you can still easily find ones that are open.

Hello, thank you for the positive feedback! Well we have 2 batteries for 190Ah of power with an inverter. So we have energy just like at home. While driving the batteries charge with a booster, takes around 20 to 30 minutes. And we also have a solar panel but that's just to keep the batteries warm during the winter cause they are partially covered by the roof rack.
