Amish country in Ohio was so lovely, we can’t wait to go back! Our vacation wasn’t long enough! We ate at East and Main and Dutch Valley buffet! We definitely preferred the Carlisle Sugarcreek Inn! Goodness we can’t wait to go back! 😊😊😊 Already planning a trip next year!

I decided to eat lunch with you I'm having a turkey platter with filling and gravy and mashed potatoes and broccoli cooked to perfection. I like a good coconut cream pie that one looks like it has a nice flaky crust😊

the meals look very delish, but that pie wow!! coconut cream is my absolute fav!! I want a piece lol! like the little tables outside but where I'm at there's no way you can sit outside is way too hot, even at 6 am it's already 80 degrees and so humid, triple digits by afternoon. I love sweet spicy pickles !!!wow that's amazing you get sample some products! Thanks for the review guys!!

I was excited at the beginning when it was called a "cafeteria". That brought back memories of the cafeterias in the past. When friendly ladies in hairnets would serve up delicious food in individual dishes to add to your tray! I was disappointed to see it was counter service like at Paneras!
In the description of the place they call themselves a cafeteria style restaurant. I guess it’s because you can get items out of that case at the counter. This was the first time we have been here it was expensive but it did taste good😎😎
You should visit Lapp’s Valley Farm on Mentzer Rd in New Holland, it’s a working farm and they sell homemade delicious ice cream. They have a stand at Kitchen Kettle Village, but the farm is more fun 😊
Great video. You were there on my birthday. I always enjoy Kitchen Kettle. However, I’ve never eaten any of the food there, because it’s what I make at home. However, it is fun to be with my friends who go there or work there. Beautiful place. Thank you. When I go to that area, I shop in 2 adjoining shops just to the east of the village but almost in the same parking area. Look for Kountry Kupboard Variety store and Nancy’s Notions and Clothing. Delightful places with some good fabrics.
Wow, both sandwiches look delicious, I'd probably go for the chicken salad that Bobbi had but I think I'd get the chips with it, and John's looks so good, I'd prefer it without the cheese on it. I think I like that the chicken on Bobbi's sandwich was shredded, I much prefer that to a chopped chicken salad. The pie looks so good too. I don't think the prices are too bad, but I'm in Southern California where a pulled pork sandwich will run you between $18 and $20, and chicken salad is pricey to so I usually make my own and save a few dollars. You know, with all your little trips to all these quaint little villages and towns I really think you should head up to Frankenmuth, Michigan I think between Bonners and the Zanders and the Bavarian Inn in the quaint little town of Frankenmuth. I think you’d enjoy it. I hope you someday get a chance to check it out

Good Morning John and Bobbie! Love the Kitchen Kettle Village! The Harvest Cafe Bobbie's lunch. Really love chicken salad! Pulled chicken glad nice texture cranberry maramalade they go together for sure! Frozen fries nicely seasoned. John: the Roasted Pork sandwich with blueberry barbeque sauce, provolone cheese, sounds so good! Definitely grab a whole Coconut pie at the Bakery! Jam and Relish Kitchen has nice things. The kicking pickle chips sound good! Salsa I would get for sure! Chow chow! Lots of cookies! Christmas shoppe they had everything! Well worth the price and the trip to Pennsylvania!!!!
Plus the resteraunt was bright and cheery. And a very nice area in Amish Country! Love the fact that you can shop for the cranberry marmalade and maybe the blueberry barbeque sauce? So many tempting items

I prefer buffet so I can try a little of everything. Both meals look good. Since I live west of Pittsburgh in Allegheny Co it’s a nicer drive over to Ohio to try the Amish stuff. Bought an Ohio Boston T from an Amish couple in 2022 (Middlefield/Mesopotamia area), and the wife seemed very happy to live in rural Ohio. I kept my Bostons name they gave her “Harmony” and she was happy I did. Unfortunately you have to go past Gordonsville and East to enjoy countryside anymore.

I love the kitchen kettle village, I try and go once a year. I love those pickles and relishes. Have you been to Stoltzfus meats? It is across the street from kitchen kettle village.
😀 If I was next to the soda machine for free refills I wouldn't be able to stop on all flavors. I'd have to use mouthwash cups to see which one I liked best I guess then get a size large from that on the rocks ! 😀✌❤
I loved your review and I’m hoping my husband and I will get to go through Amish country to Intercourse PA sometime soon. But he and I were talking that it just seems a shame that even this restaurant has decided to stick it to their consumers by raising their prices sky high. I suppose, though, it’s whatever the market will bear. Doesn’t seem to have hurt their business, that’s for sure! 😂

Good Morning John and Bobbie! Love the Kitchen Kettle Village! The Harvest Cafe Bobbie's lunch. Really love chicken salad! Pulled chicken glad nice texture cranberry maramalade they go together for sure! Frozen fries nicely seasoned. John: the Roasted Pork sandwich with blueberry barbeque sauce, provolone cheese, sounds so good! Definitely grab a whole Coconut pie at the Bakery! Jam and Relish Kitchen has nice things. The kicking pickle chips sound good! Salsa I would get for sure! Chow chow! Lots of cookies! Christmas shoppe they had everything! Well worth the price and the trip to Pennsylvania!!!!

I prefer buffet so I can try a little of everything. Both meals look good. Since I live west of Pittsburgh in Allegheny Co it’s a nicer drive over to Ohio to try the Amish stuff. Bought an Ohio Boston T from an Amish couple in 2022 (Middlefield/Mesopotamia area), and the wife seemed very happy to live in rural Ohio. I kept my Bostons name they gave her “Harmony” and she was happy I did. Unfortunately you have to go past Gordonsville and East to enjoy countryside anymore.

Next time in Lancaster, go to The Green Dragon Farmers Market in Ephrata, if you haven't been there. Only opened on Fridays. Go early.

I loved your review and I’m hoping my husband and I will get to go through Amish country to Intercourse PA sometime soon. But he and I were talking that it just seems a shame that even this restaurant has decided to stick it to their consumers by raising their prices sky high. I suppose, though, it’s whatever the market will bear. Doesn’t seem to have hurt their business, that’s for sure! 😂
