I think it was a good choice to get Lord Howard on. He presents a different perspective on things and a less dramatic sort of outlook. I disagree with him about Rishi Sunak. However, I think the proposition of the French taking the illegal immigrants back is a very good one; but only if we had someone skilled in diplomacy enough and respected by the French to make it happen.

This is just a silly old man. Not a clue how bad this lot are. Sunak only good at giving all our money away, no thrift ,no balance and mistakes made costing us 100 billion £ that we needed now but is nowhere to be seen

He was a step up from his predecessors post-1997, but didn't have enough time to connect with the public before the 2005 General Election. Sir Edward Heath's remark about him being too old didn't do him any favours either.
