    You should get a friction saver buddy that way when you're doing Pines like that you could have Tie in point at all times

      I got one. It wasn’t big enough to go around the trunk

      @@Theorangearborist that's a benefit of the rope runner pro is as you ascend you have a choke point that you can ascend with and it can always function as a tie in. it's my go to with removals and you can switch between drt and srt on the fly. I'm a pretty big drt user and have been slowly learning srt with the rope runner. the convenience of being able to do both at any time is solid. that being said I've also used the petzl zigzag and that shit is the king for drt usage so if that's your go to climbing style i would say stick with it.

    Just curious buddy look like you had plenty of room just to cut it from the ground and it would have kept scooting down it looks like that from the video but in person it's a lot different I know
