Fun video as always! Hmmm... I have to admit that we got a chuckle at 12:39 when we saw the number of hangers carried by minimalists. I think by that standard we're "micro-minimalists".
🤣I think by any standards - according to how much junk we dragged along with us on our adventures - we clearly deviated far from minimalism! We definitely had to 're-evaluate' things before moving into the new Airstream! 🤣

Jonathan, the Airstream Classic definitely isn't cheap, but they do hold their value better than a lot of RVs. I haven't done much research on the Grand Design, so I can't speak to it. But, we have seen a few of these at campgrounds and they are BEAUTIFUL from the outside. 😍
Oh yeah. We love using that storage spot for our work stuff. Laptops. Headphones. Notepads. It’s so easy to access and easy to clear off after the end of a work day. Have you already gotten your Classic or are you still waiting on her to arrive? 😍
@@Wanderlocal We picked it up on Monday , February 15. We are planning on going south in a few days but need to practice backing up. It takes practice to get the feel of how it turns. 🤓

They have helped us so much in our Airstream journey. 🥰 And that’s so smart about practicing driving and backing in before you take her on the road. We didn’t do that and our first night at a campground another camper had to back in our trailer for us. 🤣🤣🤣

Sandra Westley from the UK when we picked our unit, they allowed us to park side by side but opposite way round so we literally stepped across from one to the other transferring all our stuff, which made it really easy. I don’t think you can have too many clothes 😂😂😂 as soon as you slim down your stuff you will always need what you got rid of.
Sandra, that would have been amazing! We're jealous. We dropped our first one off in a different state from where we picked up our next one, which is why that didn't work out for us. But, you might be right about never having too many clothes. I (Lauren) have definitely picked up a few new pieces since I downsized my closet after we swapped Airstreams. 🤣
We'd like an airstream, and just saw yours park right across from us. Someday! We'd like a 27fb we think. We like living room in the back. Even an Eddie bauer if we could find one. But we'll wait till after summer when we go to Alaska.
It was so nice to meet you both! Yes, those Eddie Bauer editions are soooo nice. Like you said, though, they can be hard to find! Oh, and Alaska is on our list as well - although, we may opt out of driving there and simply find an AirBnB Airstream!
To be honest, you are 100% correct. The 25' would be perfect for us - if it had a few more of the options that come with the Classic! We're going to cover that in this coming weeks video where we stay in a 25' International. We have friends that full-time in a 16' Caravel and love it. You could have gotten a brand new Grand Design 5th Wheel with washer/dryer, dishwasher, spacious slides, and a built-in generator for that money.
