Thanks for good video. Your granddaughter is adorable!
Thank you for your kind words. We are very proud of her. She was excited to be a RUclipsr 🤣
Excellent video - thank you!

Your granddaughter is a special guest today! ^ ^ That's right! Maintenance is import for the Airstream!
Thank you for sharing your Top 10 tips of maintenance tasks! It'll be much easier to follow as you explain while showing a demonstration! Hello! Greetings again from 100tour KOREA! Stay in touch, my friend! See you! Have a wonderful day!

Subscribed. Awesome team work. Great tips!
Thanks for subscribing and happy to hear the video was helpful. Safe travels.
Great video. I’ll need to note those maintenance items.
Mike…thanks for watching. As they say “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”.
Check the schader valves and the spare tire air and schader valve and the tightness of the spare tire to the unit.
That is a great recommendation / tip. Will definitely add to my maintenance checks. Thanks for watching.
What soundbar do you have for your TV? I like the size and shape of it.
Hi. It's a LG 25" 2.0 Soundbar I picked up from Amazon. It works great and is very compact and fit nicely in the Airstream. Here is an Amazon link amzn.to/46ZyVUr (if interested). Thanks for watching and safe travels.
Thx,

?, any ideas on how to eliminate the AC/HP odor when turning it on? Have you encountered this? We have a 2020 FC 26 RBQ and we take this out once to twice a QTR. Thank you Joe & Linda
Fortunately we’ve not had a problem with AC/HP odors in our Airstream. If it’s a musty smell in your Airstream, you may want to check the AC condensation drip line to ensure it isn’t clogged of starting to mold and that it is draining properly. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and safe travels.
I noticed that you have a little skin ripple at the bottom corners of your front hatch. You probably want to watch for front frame separation.
Thanks for noticing. I have talked with Airstream previously and they said they didn’t believe it was frame separation, but I plan to have it looked at in the future when we head to Jackson Center for some other repairs. Safe travels.
Just curious, in the photo it looked like you had a chevy with a gas engine. Did the gas engine handle the camper ok?
Hi…our TV is a 2010 GMC 2500HD with 6.0 liter gas engine. We haven’t had any problems towing our 27’ AS out East from Florida to Maine. However, we haven’t towed out West in the Rocky Mtns. If I had a bigger AS (28’ or >) I would likely switch to diesel. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and safe travels.
One must be very careful using dielectric grease because it is non conductive and shall be used only as an insulator to block moisture or electrical tracking (shorting). Again it can cause resistive connections if used incorrectly. Dielectric definition: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dielectric
Brad…great tip. Thanks for sharing.
My 2018 Airstream AC filters are fastened to the ceiling with four screws. Did you modify yours with the spring clips on the ends or did they come that way? That's sure a whole lot easier than screwing the tiny screws in the ceiling.
Hi Jack. Our 2017 AS came with the clips on the AC filters. We have no complaints with the clips. I believe Airstream recently changed to the screw version. I have heard that they are difficult to use and can easily strip out the screw holes. I hope you have better luck. Thanks for watching and safe travels
Awesome video Rick , appreciate the maintenance tips . What’s your hitch weight or tongue weight on your vehicle 🚗 ? ? Just curious , they recommend 10-15 percent of your GVW ? ? Have you ever had any hail damage in all your travels ? ? Thx again & safe travels to you & your family wherever they may take you . 👍⚾️
Bob, thanks for the kind words. It is greatly appreciated. As for our hitch weight, it will vary in the 900 to 1,000 lbs range depending on our AS load plan. We tow with a GMC 2500HD and have always stayed under our weight limits for the AS and TV. As for hail damage, we have not personally had any damage during our travels (knock on wood) but our AS had some previous hail damage when we purchased it. The damage is really just cosmetic and not very noticeable unless you are looking for it. Thanks again for watching and safe travels.
Thx for the reply & info 👍
Zoey looks just like her daddy, a lot quieter though 😊
She does look like her daddy.
