Small thing, but I really appreciate the fact that they're getting people swearing on these spin offs. Sounds a lot more natural.
Yeah, I noticed that there was definitely a lot more swearing since The Walking Dead’s last couple seasons and spinoff’s, and I definitely appreciate that. You’re right it definitely does seem more natural in interactions when characters do swear. Plus it’s kind of cool to hear Rick say it
@@cadengericke5652 when he said "Who fucking knows?" I immediately thought he meant it, just because maybe he didnt in the whole of the flagship except on the dvd. Same vibe to me as "they're fucking with the wrong people." Im not saying it needs to be deadwood, but it makes a lot more impact if used sparingly.

@@cadengericke5652the walking dead isn’t on HBO everywhere. I think swearing is mainly allowed now because the show is primarily released on streaming platforms (AMC+ being the main one)

He wanted to spend time with his family, that’s why he wasn’t on there. It all worked out though. I feel if he hadn’t left we wouldn’t have gotten this show with so much hype revolving around it. The first episode was awesome.
Yea he left on his own decision because he spent 10 years mostly being away from his family in Europe. Dude was having to go back to Georgia every summer lol
I know! I mean i felt like they managed to make the rest of the show work without Rick (for the most part) but just getting to his acting again after just one episode I was like, "Ughhh I've MISSED you Andrew Lincoln!! 😊"
The scene was simply amazing. I love how Andrew Lincoln changes Rick’s voice up a little when describing okafor as a soldier. I watched the scene a couple times, and I must say the acting is just truly perfect

Yes the books that okafor gave to Thorne and rick was the same book that Eastman gave Morgan to learn from.
This was one of my favorite Rick Grimes scenes of all time. The emotion, the tension, the rage, it's all potent. I love it.
The acting from both is fantastic, the writing, the music, I had goosebumps.

So if Okafor found the phone sketches of Michonne and Judith, does that mean Okafor just left the phone on the boat since Michonne has them with her. kinda strange if CRM doesn’t want anyone from outside knowing about their existence

Well to be fair, in context with the latest episode, michonne by this point found those phones several months ago. And based on what we saw them doing to outsiders in episode 2, I can see Okafor leaving the evidence behind thinking, "Eh she can try to find him, but she won't get far. They never do."
The walking dead would introduce these one off characters so often that no one would give a shit about and we were just expected to sympathize with the leads when they were killed off even though they weren’t given enough screen time to create a believable dynamic. But even though okafor was killed first episode he felt substantial he was dope

I think this is the first time we’ve gotten to see Rick beat the shit out of someone he really respected and considered an ally (apart from Shane. While trying to make his point. The emotion and rage is just fenomenal, very similar to his last scene with Shane.

What I love about the scene that many people are missing is that Rick is contemplating sacrificing his family to save the world
This just shows there is no way rick and miche will be back with the main group in the first season, rick has to climb up ranks like okafor said and change the crm from inside, cause i doubt okafor kept the secret to himself, also jadis, i bet beale knows too, so unless somehow in the greatest plot amor possible he killed all three of them and get away, there is no way he can get back rn cause they could just wipe out alexandria without even being on the ground, and commonwealth too.
I think the season finale is going to end with Rick and Michonne assassinating the CRM leadership, who are having a summit at the base Rick is constructing. When that happens, Rick and Michonne are going to make a run for it when the CRM goes into chaos.
Or maybe Rick will climb up the ladder long enough to change things. Tough to say. But god this season is looking good.

@@Renagade2332 possibly, but assassination is a bit… not walking dead, it would just be too easy. plus we still don’t know what the crm does and why they are killing all those people, all those colonels and jadis and beale believes they are the last light of the world, there were talks about a cure in WB. And just leaving them in a chaos like that would be a waste and not very “rick style”, i believe he will move up the ranks and change crm like okafor wanted him to do, cause he believed rick would save everyone that’s why he picked rick.

not even close Okafor only had a slightly advantage for being an ex marine and being in the CRM more time but both weren't even fighting 100%, Rick kicked his ass in the beggining and then okafor got his punches on Rick just like he did both did more talk than fighting, Rick in a fair fight slams Okafor is not even close of being stronger than Rick he's just more skilled and has more experience as a military Rick just has much more feats

No lo creo primero que nada no pelearon en serio con intenciones de matarse segundo Okafor podrá tener más años de experiencia y entrenamiento militar que Rick pero Rick también tiene muchísima experiencia en combate y ganó muchas peleas solo perdiendo 2 las cuales fueron contra el Gobernador por sus heridas y la primer pelea con Negan solo por que este lo tiro por una ventana Rick domino gran parte de esa pelea, esto fue más un dialogo que una pelea por eso estuvieron igualados y Rick ademas se lo pudo quitar de encima por que ya tiene entrenamiento militar sumándole toda la experiencia en combate que tiene en una pelea justa Rick se lo solea a okafor y aun mas si tuviese las otra mano
