@@JustaComment93 Not really. This season he scored at 3rd liner rate at 5v5 while being bad defensively. 70 points with bad defense and mediocre 5v5 scoring is not remotely a 1C.
Zac Jones needed to be in the lineup nobody on the back end couldn’t move the puck and that’s what Zac Jones does well
The scores were competitive but the losses really were not.
Igor did his best impression of Hank and maybe even outshine him a bit. For all the people saying Igor's going to run away to go get a cup. Igor isn't going anywhere this team isn't far away and where is he going to go that could be a contender right away
Right wing is a big need. Simeon with grit and can score. Debrusk, marchassuelt, stamkos
No on debrusk. Why need another player who does nothing in big games. I’d like a Tyler bertuzzi on that top line. Maybe max domi on the 3rd. Least those guys have a lot of grit
This team needs to keep their hands off washed up players. Let's take a look at the Montreal Canadiens and their rebuild , i see them in the 2024-2025 playoffs and they will raise eye browse, they will be very good, they will build a dynasty like what they had in the past.

1. Drury has had 3yrs to get a RW to play with Mika & Krieds. Traded a Boat load of Draft picks with nothing to show for them.
Brought in 4 washed up players this yr for all 4 to be banished before mid season, 5 Mil could have gotten a 1RW.
Then there's the Fiasco to bring an injured Kane here , all the whike Gallant was craving Sandpaper guys, ultimately parting ways
2. Laviolett....REFUSED to Rempe , give Jones a look knowing Fox was hurt, Trouba was a Disaster. Chose Chytil, Wheeler, Brodzinsky over Othman Bedard Edstrom without a thought...how well did that work out ?
If Trochek isn't named the captain over the summer I'm not buying my partial season ticket package. Get to see off of JT
Please get rid of Trouba, Wheeler, get 1RW and has to be a proven winner, more grit, maybe get rid of Kakko
Trouba should never have been Captain he is worthless, Captains look after the players and protects them and will come to their rescue and does neither but get penalized for stupid stuff that as a veteran player should already know he should not do.
Make Zadorov a offer resign Lindgren but push him down to 2nd or 3rd pairing
Outside of Igor, Fox, Laffy, Schneider, and Trocheck, everyone should be a trade candidate. Do not sign Lindgren and Kakko. Make a trade package to get a guy like Tkachuk and build a tougher team. The core of Kreider, Panarin, Trouba, and Mika has reached its peak. 2 ECF Finals in 3 years tells us all we want to know. The whole team needs to be rebuilt but we all know it won’t happen.
They made 2 of the past 3 ECFs and you think they should do a full rebuild?
@@humanbeing2420 absolutely. They can’t get over the hump. Not good enough. Scoring 2 goals between Panarin, Mika, and Kreider during the most important series of their careers is all you need to know.

@@humanbeing2420 Different situation. Our core scored 2 goals in a 6 game series. They are all on the wrong side of 30. Do you think they get better or regress from here? They won't get tougher or more physical. They barely generated any offense and completely neutralized. I guarantee that they won't win the cup with Mika, Kreider, and Panarin on the same team.
@@Mr.Eeeeeeeee They're not trading Kreider, for obvious reasons, nor should they if they could. Mika and Panarin both have full NMCs so they're going nowhere. They have to find a way to get over the hump with those three guys. They didn't fail to score in the ECF because they didn't feel like it. There are reasons and they're not effort-related.
NO ADDRESSES THE REASON THEY ARE TRAPPED IN THEIR OWN ZONE... TROUBA, AND EVEN WORSE LINDGREN ARE UNABLE TO CARRY THE PUCK TO START THE BREAKOUT... LINDGREN IS JUST AWFUL, EITHER A HARD RAP AROUND THE BOARDS, OR A HIGH CHIP/DUMP INTO CENTER ICE.. THE PANTHERS ONLY HAD TO RETRIEVE THE DUMP OUTS AND ATTACK...WHEN DID YOU EVERY SEE TROUBA, OR LINDGREN DANGLE, AND BREAK OUT? THE ANSWER IS NEVER. AND BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT MOVE THE PUCK, THE FOWARDS HAVE TO CYCLE DEEP, AND THEY GET TRAPPED TOO... IT WAS THE SAME THING 3 PLAYOFFS IN A ROW.. DUMP LINDGREN, HE IS TOO SMALL, AND HAS ZERO OFFENSIVE UPSIDE.. AND STOP WITH THE TOUGH AS NAILS BS... TROUBA 11 MINOR PENALTIES IN THE SERIES EXPLAINS EVERYTHING... TIME FOR HIM TO MOVE ON..
Let's not forget Miller and the no shows of Mica Kreider, Panarin and Fox with his exhausted look every time Time for people to just GO I am tired of watching the same crap and it's not the coach what so ever it's the millionaires on the team that the organization gave high salaries to and now they are stuck with them till contract is up it's just so frustrating listening to the same old EXCUSES EVERY YEAR.
It's the same story every time this team makes the finals and FAIL the Rangers were too slow and sloppy for the Panthers. It's time to shakeup the team? because whatever rebuild they attempted was totally thrown out the window and what's bad is some players have a no trade clause again it's the same old story.
We're all bummed they didn't win the Cup, but being in the top 4 teams twice in the past 3 years isn't failure. It's success. They just need to get over the hump. Tearing the whole thing down because you're upset is stupidity.
@@humanbeing2420 I've been watching this team since the sixties and from what you state you only assume that for three years they fell short so listen to what you are saying 3 yrs. and i can say whatever i want you as a reader if you don't like it can just reply thumbs up or down but don't make it sound as though i don't know what i am talking about. Read up on what other fans are saying .
@@juans3728 I've read tons of fans' comments and think I have a good idea what a good portion of the fan base thinks. And I think many - possibly most - Ranger fans are thinking emotionally rather than objectively. Yes, they've failed to win a Cup since 1994. Two Cups in 85 years. I get that. It sucks. But the question right now is what's best for the organization going forward. I think the team is close and can get over the hump with the right moves. I don't think giving up on this core is the right move (even if it were possible, which it really isn't anyway).
@@humanbeing2420 No matter what you and I will not see eye to eye so leave at that. But don't be surprised when changes are made for the better of the team because with what they have their main objective will not be accomplished.
What happens next, all the rangers take a charter flight to Disney to take Rempe to see Mickey.

There are several players that need to go i don't care what fans say. You can't keep players that have trouble getting up in the morning. Our rebuild should consist of speed , toughness , and snipers and we lack all three.
The guy's a warrior. Tough as nails. You saw him make one bad pass and you want them to dump him.

@@humanbeing2420 One bad pass? Three Playoff years in a row, the Rangers trapped in their own Zone because the defence can not move the puck under a heavy forecheck... This is 3 years in a row. Can not blame the coach this year... Lindgren hides behind Fox, he can not move the puck himself.. And teams know it..
@@humanbeing2420 Tough as nails? What does he actually do? Zero offense, and he is 6ft tall 180 pounds... He gets hurt because he is small for an NHL defender...
