One thing I learned from cell-phone screen protector install kits, is that in order to help alignment, i tape half of the graphics (with backing still on) to the plastic in the right position and then i will start at the end that is not taped and take off the backing and put it on and once it's in place, I undo the tape and then work my way up.
Extra tip for those of us who have rough work hands get some micro fiber gloves or your rough hands will scratch it up 😅 may have learned the hard way..
