Never run an engine without oil... not for one second! You drain it easily by having a warmed up engine at the start of the procedure. Do you have the service manual for this generation of engines K12C ?

What kind of oil filter are you using? Please can you mention the brand name and part number of that oil filter as well as what are the compatible oil filter part numbers for Suzuki Swift ZC13S (Turbo GLX/boosterjet 1.0) model car?
Hello. I have two questions : - On the manual of my Swift Sport Hybrid of 2021 it says that depending on the model or recommandations of the manufacturer, I should use either the kind of oil you are using or 5W30. Is there any big difference between the two ? - How many liters of oil do you use approximatly in this car ? Thanks for the video
Hi! Thank you for the comment! 1. W refers to the viscosity of the oil, The lower this number is, the less viscous your oil will be at low temperatures. A 0W oil, as the one I used, is really fluid and will flow better at low temperatures than a 5W. If your range of temperature is inside the one OK for 5W, then you can proceed with that. However, my mechanic recommended a more fluid one (0W, for instance) because is specifically designed for hybrid vehicles, so I went for that (frequent start and stop require a more fluid oil). 2. I filled the motor with 3.3 kg of oil. You may fill the oil then, when you are finisching, you can check the level with the oil bar (I didn't show this in the video, however its really simple). Let me know if I was clear enough, otherwise I'm here if I can help you!

hi guy 2 things... put the car level when draining oil not how you are doing it because they will still hav some oil left in the pan and second NEVER ever start any car engine without oil in the engine you are causing excess wear and if you do that over and over you will have issues before time.
Hi! Thank you for the comment. I didn't get the advice about the car position. In my case it was horizontal, how any mechanic will do, I think. Do you suggest to put it a bit inclined? Can you be more specific? Thank you. About the engine running without oil...you are right, but it worked for actually very few seconds. Any damage was done, in any way, so I'm not really concerned about this procedure. It is not the recommended one for long working perdiods, for sure. Moreover it doesn't help in anything. But the engine is not damaged in any way.
Ciao!
First of all the 0w-20 is the wrong oil you put the wrong engine oil in it. Keep the aftermarkets there and use only the recommended oil. And that's SAE 10W-40 Do not switch or change any of this. I cringe so hard at those very very commendable mistakes. Yeah of course the car will run but later in line you get problems you use very thinner oil than recommend and if you drive more than 30 min with this oil you will damage your engine. The use of too ‘thin’ a motor oil leads to premature wear of bearings, camshafts, piston rings, and cylinder liners. Not all 0W-20 motor oils are the same! Car manufacturers may specify the same viscosity, for example, 0W-20, but for each make or model the other specifications may differ considerably. Also if you get a "thicker" oil like 15w-40 for example. The use of too ‘thick’ a motor oil has, among others, a negative effect on the hydraulic operation of the variable valve timing, resulting in damage, continual additional fuel consumption and more soot deposit, leading to a direct risk of wear. Good luck.
You seem to be confused about the model. Every source on the Internet and the car's manual as well suggests 0w20 for this model. 10w40 will destroy this engine.
Thanks from Valencia, Spain
