I have promax and can connect to the wifi Hotspot, but when I do this, I have no internet connectivity. So my question is how do I enable the internet connectivity in the car. Is there somewhere where I can install a SIM?
@@theBaldChery I'm trying to then understand the purpose of the Wifi Hotspot. My understanding of how a hotspot should work, is that the device broadcasting it, can allow devices connected to it, to access the internet using it's connection. Example, wifi hotspot from my phone and I connect my laptop to my phone's hotspot, allowing my laptop to use my phone's internet connection, to gain access to the internet.
The WiFi is mainly used to connect devices to each other in the car on the same network. So if you want to send someone a pic on the same network, you should be able to search the device and share the pics for example. If have a portable WiFi, then yes you could also use it as that.

My wife tried conn her phone to it and although it connected, nothing happened and there was no internet. Can you please do anqui video on the WiFi and its uses. Thanks!!🙏
Hi. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the T8. Like I previously said, the point of the WIFI is basically just to connect your phone to the car. The car doesn't have built in Internet. It's like a wireless connection to the car like you have a wireless connection in your office through the WiFi router without the Internet. You can connect devices to one another. It's not a WiFi with the Internet. It can also be part of the wireless Android auto connection part if you don't want to use Bluetooth to connect. Hope this is a little clearer for you.
@@theBaldChery ok ignore my question, as this explains it. I hope Chery provides a software update to allow the wifi hotspot to be used a mediator to internet access via another device.
Hi. If you have to splice any wiring or remove the head unit, then yes it will void the warranty like any other manufacturer. But if you just remove the speakers and replace them with others and using the original connector from the car. Then the warranty will be fine but installing a sub and an amp will void warranty.

No, sorry, but there isn't a place to install a SIM card. You can still run the same things by just running the Bluetooth.

I’m thinking of buying this car here in the UAE and these videos are super helpful. So you can actually connect to wifi if you don’t have data?
