- Hey guys! We finally got around to showing off our embarrassingly small apartment in Seoul, South Korea... you guys asked for it, so here it is! It's not much, and we are moving soon, but for now it's our home.

For those of you that don't know, I'm (Sam) a full time college student here in Korea. I'm on a tight budget given I can only work part time(barely even that) on my visa, and a place like this is actually normal for one person or a student in Korea. But after some time we wanted to stay together. We will move soon, we promise!

FazZ tieRED you can get infected from the virus who you haven’t been in China, Japan or South Korea from other people who have. That’s why when you come back from those places you should stay home, call your local GP or hospital right away and shouldn’t leave the house. The virus spreads quickly when you come in contact with anyone from those countries and if you leave the house knowing you’ve been there then you’re a dick tbh

Usually that kind of small "one room"(studio) in korea is for one person(many college students live in there). So it's definitely too small for two people. I'm glad to hear that you guys will move out.
No need to sad my dear JJ and Sam . U both have a very beautiful room. I just love it. While some people doesn't have any food,clothes even they didn't have shelter. So u both should be happy to have a very beautiful house. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Small but very functional. Just enough for the two of you. We live in Whistler, Canada and we also live in a very small apartment because other accommodations are so expensive
Good luck with finding a new place. But do not be in a rush. Living in a small unit will require you both to learn how to get along as a couple. In the future, you will remember these times wth fond memories.

wa! I had same type of the room during my exchange in Korea :D and! I have to say, that I paid more! I paid around 350000won and I had roomate.. We were lucky, because we got also extra "balcony" tiny room, so we were able to put there trash and our suitcases.

I live in a 4 bedroom and two bathroom house with only my husband, and every damn closet, drawer and furniture is full of stuff. The area themselves are very clean and organized, but all the drawers and stuff are FULL and I feel likeI need more space LOL

I stayed in a similar size apartment in Tokyo for a week. It was difficult at first but I was able to adjust in a few days. My wife and I lived in a tiny studio apartment for three years when we first got married. Although we didn't have much, we had great memories together in that small apartment. I wish you the best in college and your life. You will move on. Thanks for sharing.

I can relate to you guys when it comes to the rental fee. Me and my American girlfriend also want to live in Seoul, South Korea after finishing univ, but still trying to figure out where to stay.
Like you guys go in the video, it's still expensive to live in the city even though Korean 원룸's somehow cheaper than the ones in the states. I think it'd be best to move in flats with 전세 if you could afford it, but most people can't and they'd get a housing loan from the banks, and it takes long time for them to pay off the loans.
Thanks for sharing you guys house on here! Maybe I can show this to my gf helping her get a grasp of 원룸 in Korea.
아참, 그리고 여자친구분이 너무 작다고 하는거에 어느정도 공감이 되네요. 제 여자친구도 하는 말이라서.. ㅋㅋ 제여친은 항상 이런얘기 할때마다 하는말이 "I want a house, not an apartment"라서.. ㅋㅋ 한국에서 그렇게 살기 쉽지는 않은데 아무튼 잘보고갑니다.

It's a perfect tiny home. Yes, it's very compact, but you have each other and everything you need. YOu guys need to something fresh, that's what fridge is for, meat and vegetables that you can keep for a couple of days at least. All those box instant noodles, good for quick food, but no good to eat them everyday. Especially when you store them in the shoe cupboards. Hope you guys are safe, find a better place and eat healthier.

This apartment is real cool. For a first student apartment this is sooo good. Especially with this affordable price (I live in France, and it is quite expensive here, an apartment like this would cost at least 500-600 euros)

Its got to be stuffy. Install a wall large ventilator fan (khind) in reverse to suck air in the room. The room shd be well ventilated with fresh air and comfortable.
