    I've ran forklifts and other hydraulic based machinery for 40 yrs. I have a tuned ear to the 'draw' or how much power is being drawn on the hydraulics and/or the rpm of the motor. To get a 1500 pound log/tree off the ground so I can safely cut without getting my saw pinched will be incredible. L2501 is what I'm saving for.

    • @na-et2gp
      @na-et2gp 2 года назад +1

      That's exactly what I do with mine when sawing logs. hold the log on the forks and saw from the ends just off the ground, works great

      @@chasewebber4316 Went 'green'. 3032E. Working it hard, but it's been great, aside from the re-gen. If I upgrade to a bigger machine it'll definitely be a model before those.

    Someone should forward this video to TTWT. Love my L2501, fantastic bang for the buck. I have a family member who owns a JD1025 and I honestly can say I like the L2501 better. I have size 14W feet and the treadle pedal on the Kubota guarantees that I can’t accidentally hit both pedals or the wrong one like I have on the JD.

    something must be wrong with mine. It maxed out at 1100. Mine was idling though, so maybe that was why.

    • @kubotaoflynchburg
      @kubotaoflynchburg  2 года назад +1

      Try idling it up to around 2200RPM and test it there. Although each loader may be slightly different based on factory specifications.

      We figured we might as well test the pallet forks at the same time, since those are the ones we sell with the L series! Good thing they did hold up!

    I picked up 6 semi tires with clamp on forks which is roughly 900lbs half way is as far as it would lift. So, good to know even with the weight so fat out it was still close

    I know this video is around 1 year old .... but firsr off ... isnt the bsllast weight sitting on the ground (its hard to tell but i didnt notice it move when the tractor moved from lifting n lowering. It has to be hanging in the air to do any good 🤔. Also (its hard to tell but) it seemed like the rpm's were only up a little, not necessarily at the highest rpm you wud run it for a heavy load/heavy work. Like it says in the begonning of the video " we have no idea what we are doing" i agree. Peformed .... performed .

    My L3301 won't lift anywhere near that ... i guess i should have bought a smaller tractor🙄
    Do the rear tires have ballast?

    • @kubotaoflynchburg
      @kubotaoflynchburg  Год назад

      Yes, the back tires are fluid filled. Make sure yours are and that there is a counter ballast on the back. If it still won’t lift that amount, you probably need to get your hydraulic pressures checked at a shop.

      Thank you, I had a box blade on ... the tractor seems under-powered and light to the point I can see where a novice operator could get into trouble pretty quickly.
      I can't say I think very much of regen cycles, with only 30 hour's on the little critter ... I'm still getting to know it's in's and outs.
      I just didn't need a big tractor anymore ... Thank you again for the reply.

    My L2501 wouldn’t even come close to lifting that weight! Barely lift 1000# ….I bought a pallet full of tile in individual 30# boxes.
    Added them all up and weighed about 860# …wasn’t Impressed.

    • @kubotaoflynchburg
      @kubotaoflynchburg  2 года назад

      First, make sure you have good counterbalance on the back of the tractor. Second make sure your RPMS are all the way up! Third, try to get the load as close to the back of the pallet forks as possible, the further away from the tractor the harder it is to lift.

    Why don’t you show us how hard it is to get a full bucket of dirt from a semi packed pile of sandy loam instead explaining the technical reasons? I have extremely disappointed along with many others on how much dirt Kubota allows us to pick up. My old Kubota 2003 33 hp would allow me at least drive into the same pile. I couldn’t always lift the bucket simply because the rear tires would be lifted but I could get a full bucket. Shame on Kubota!
