I love it when these jewelers/ shops loan watches out to review. Its hard in this hobby, these things are expensive. Just hope it pays off for them, so they keep sending new stuff out to review.
@ echo chambers I’m not trying to be rude or sarcastic but honestly, yes, I do. It‘s not a dive watch, when it‘s rated 100m. Oris has proper dive watches, so where is the problem? Don‘t lecture me, I don‘t dive, and I take off my watch in the shower. But it‘s a dive watch, or it isn‘t. This one isn‘t.
Chemical elements feature the Latin suffix "ium" at the end. Sodium, magnesium, potassium etc. It makes sense for Aluminium to follow suit. Etymology is so cool though and I love how different words evolved and changed around the world. Call it what you want at the end of the day though...
@@firitheryn I should have said "tend to feature", my bad. The spelling of Aluminium has changed a few times since it was first discovered. A lot of modern American spellings of English words are actually old English spellings that America kept since independence. The UK actually changed the spelling of the words since the 18th century so the modern American spellings are actually more true to original English.
Man that is so awesome...thanks for reviewing this one Rob. Been waiting to see this color way in particular. Got to say I really like the combo of gray and mint green. Wow
I was on the Oris web site and took a chance on their dealer locator. I figured the nearest would be a major trip like Boston or New York City. Surprise, there's one about 20 miles from me, and they had 10 or 12 variations on the big crown pointer date on display. I went in looking for the bronze but switched my choice to the blue-grey once I tried it on. The down side of the AD experience is now I've got the 65 and a couple of others stuck in my head.
Getting into the aluminum argument, technically, us, most, of us Americans are correct in our pronunciation of the word. The British chaps are wrong. Said what I said. Lol.
Aluminium all the way Rob. This has to be the best looking 65 so far.

Hope to set up some affiliate links with some places, that way we can track all of that. Plus could help the channel even more.
Most beautiful color combination on the dial of this Oris model - by far!...
I would own this for quite some time if it was 200m WR.
But it isn‘t...
I’m not trying to be rude or sarcastic but honestly,do you really need 200m?

What are you a whale? How much time do you spend in the deep sea hunting for Krill?
2200 $ should at least get you 200m on an entry level Swiss watch , 100m for that price is insulting for a dive watch.
Oris makes nices watches. Wish these were 200m WR. I would get one.
This is my favorite watch to wear for such a long time. Thanks for the vid!
£2000 for THAT!
I'll have whatever drug's they're having.
When i see the flashy mint colour on dial i thought and expected that the lume is so strong. A little bit disappointment..🤷🏻♂️
The grey and teal color combination really works well.
I wasn't sure about this colorway when I first saw it, but I have to admit that it's grown on me! Great review as always, Rob!
Same. I thought it too kitschy but bought one the other day. Can’t wait for it to arrive.
I'm a big Oris fanboy......and Saltzmans is awesome!!

What about Gold? or Iron. Or Sulfur, or silver, or Nickel

the Saltzmans link doesn't work for me...
Ceramic is the best the only thing that makes not not like Tudor is the aluminum bezel would fades and scratches
Alli-minium sounds better than Allu-minum
I really hate the 100 M ‘diver’ watches. If it looks like a diver, it should be 200M or greater. Other than that, I like it.
Oris has the knack of making spectacular watch dials of any watches in their divers 65 watches.
Beautiful watch. Though I’m not fan of the hands and indices color

Love it. I have a Submariner and a Seamaster, so I'm not getting another diver, but I love this watch.
Great review, thanks. Tried this on and thinking about buying it. Looks even better in real life. Hard decision on this Vs the dark blue dial.
A "fashion dive watch" lol. that got me
Love Oris
please ask Richard to review one of the cotton candy, bronze diver 65 please!
Ok can do
Perhaps my favorite 65 to date. Would have to get a matching bracelet option just to have with this to wear from time to time
Hello, thank you for this review. Watch looks amazing. What do you think, is it a good value for the money? Cheers.
Yep, two very different pronunciations of that light metal depending on whether you're here in the UK or there in the US - not sure how that happened
Wow, this watch looks good at all angles. So close to getting one. Thx for reviewing!
I really wanted this one, love the colors but watched many reviews and all stated poor lume, and some stated bezel acrion on these are not great.
lol why cant they get the hands to match the indices? is there a model that doesnt have this plague :)
I really like this combo.. Will wait a bit for it to hit used market : )
No way I’m taking the hit at an AD.
Love this colourway! Looks great on the black leather too.
I love this color combo, hoping to head over to Saltzmans soon to check it out in person!
Such a good looking watch.
Morning rob! Great looking oris!
Thats actually stunning!
Amazing piece! 🤯
Wow I want one!!! 😲😲😲
On second thought.. kind of want it with the date window instead 😅
Is this really a $500 watch retailing at $2200? I can’t see where the value is?
I love this color way on this Oris! I'm definitely interested in this one!
What an absolute Beauty. Another great review Rob.
Thanks much
I can't stop laughing at that hour hand! 😂
How would someone prove they are an authorized dealer?
Hey Rob 😃 what do you think about the Heimdallr sea ghost ?? 👻
