Hey guys, during the livestream my internet service fell apart and it jammed up, sorry if I missed any comments! Thank you all for tuning in tho!
Just got this bike, WAY more than I expected. Damn. Props to mister
Weed for his fantastic videos!
So Jeff.....Mojo 4 or Ripley V4....what do you think are the pros and cons of each?
Your riding is amazing!
This was super pleasant to watch.. yet extremely eye opening to what bikes are capable of in all shapes and sizes! Nice rip & everything bud!
Nice trails you have there at your place.👍🚵🏻♂️. Stay safe and healthy
Rocking those PNW bars! I LOVE my PNW Bars!
Very nice trail
Watching your VIDS definitely yearn for Bellingham trails!!!!! Going to try to make it there this coming August!!!
8:30 that was a missed bike-swap moment if I ever saw one!
Not sure if you've ever made one but a tutorial on manual landers would be so sick!
Dude these trails look insane. My local trails in western PA look nothing like this. Not gonna lie makes me a tad jealous!
I feel ya here in SE Michigan.
We have hero dirt for days with gorgeous single-track, but its flat for the most part.
Our "Gnar" is here tho, but you have to earn each little quick downhill by a peddle up and repeat.
I feel ya, Near Pittsburgh here. Some nice trails but NOTHING like this... Man those long descents look so damn fun.
Killed it man. Bike looks awesome.
That was a sick Ride 🤙🤙🤙
This videos are cool, where you have some interactions with the everyday rider and then you go to work on jumps and high skill riding!
Thanks Juan!
I was like watching motocross single-track. Awesome👍
Galbraith is calling Jeff!!! Likes s good. My Utah road trip hit a wall, as this COVID hit everyone. Moving trip for 2021, Hopefully ill get more time in and broaden the travel radius to beyond Utah!
He's wiped out from a workout the day before but still rides as fast uphill as I do downhill. he's an Animal! A Monster! He eats wild horses for breakfast & washes it down with live Volcanoes!
So sick on a bike!!
I just ordered this same bike with a very similar build. Every one of your videos is crazy to watch with your phenomenal riding skills. Unfortunately I know that I will never be near your skill level. Just too old and don’t have the ball bearings for it, lol. If I filmed myself riding and played it in fast forward, it would still be way slower than you. Your skills versus mine would be comparable to chuck norris verse a toothpick, lol. Keep up the awesome videos brother.
I love my ibis mojo hd3
Me too. Well I love mine but I'm sure yours is awesome. 2017 baby!
This guy got skillz!
Thanks man!
Jeff HELP! I was all but convinced to buy a Ripley, but now I'm not sure. The HD4 might be a better option for my local trails here in Prescott, AZ. what do you think? I make it over to Sedona a bit too. Thanks for the input. Also I'm 5' 10 and 178lbs, but after riding for a couple months Ill be back down to 165 or so. Thanks again.
Jeff, how do the occam and mojo4 compare?
27.5 is the future
Jeff: New bike day!!
5 min later: I'm at the Mohawk Trail
How do you like the PNW Loam grips? I kinda find them to be too narrow for my liking.
You'll know me if we ever meet on the trail because I'll probably say something silly like, "Hey, it's Jason from MTB Yumyum!"
Ripping it. Wonder how it compares to 5010
Hey Jeff, I heard in the video you slapped on a fox 36, I didn't see it in your linked comments. I'm going to be building a Mojo 4 around the frame pretty soon and I spoke to Will over at Ibis and he redirected me to a Pike @ 37mm or 44mm offset @ 150mm travel will be good. Mainly, just like you, I would prefer thicker stanchions than the 34, and a Pike would be great at 35mm but I wanted to do a Fox/Shimano build on this one cause my DV9 is a Rockshox/Sram build. Is it possible that you can hit me up with some info on your final fork choice and rear shock? I'm also considering upgrading the Fox 34 fork on my Loki too. Great video too! Keep it up!
@Jeff..any comments about -> Mojo4 'Mullet' built up with 29" Fox 36 / 150 in front ? Good idea or a no go?
How much different is a M4 with a 36 and DPX II then a M3 with the same setup?
I have a Mojo 3, these bikes are such good fun to ride! 👍 and do I hear a Hydra? I have one and it’s sooo smooth. Ciao! Gaetano
Yup. 742 carbon wheelset. Angry insect robot swarm. I wish I could have that sound when I'm not riding. Chicks dig it.
Bruh there’s no way u lanualed that 💀 3:36 🔥
Hahaha yea! We spent like 20 minutes there trying to film that on the hardtail and I couldn't get it then. Go figure that on a flyby it's no prob!
Don't hear you brake much at the flow jump trails in the early part of the video. That's the trick? Sure committed.
"High performance riding will be closer to the end of the video"
casual manny lander at 3:35 (1/4 into the video)
Hey Jeff, had a quick one for you. I'm on the East Coast, older rider with a 3 yr old Mojo 3 XL that I love. I have the opportunity to bump the fork to 150. Is that something I should do? what do you think the pros and cons are? Should say that I bought it new, been riding it 3 yrs.
Hey D, I much preferred the Mojo 3 with the 150mm fork. I say go for it! Fox spring kits are cheap and easy to install (as are Rock Shox).
Hey, I'm on the east coast as well (NY).. and bumped my Mojo 3 up to 150 in front. It's' how the bike should've come stock. Feels more capable on the downs and you give up nothing on the climbs. It's a cheap upgrade and well worth it.
Hi, I also have a Mojo3 and, following Jeff’s advice some time ago, I fitted 150 Fox forks. The bike rides like a dream. If anything, the 150 forks improve its geometry, with still plenty of playfulness, I can assure you 👍
@@mannyfnsc29 Did you do it yourself or did your LBS do it. Considering trying 150 mm on my Mojo 3 but not sure how difficult it is.
@@mannyfnsc29 How did you do the upgrade?
He Jeff , I can not decide on a Mojo 4 or a Ripmo . I am a 27.5 guy . Any input would be greatly appreciated
You're a talented rider! Subscribed!
Jeff, what do you use to film? Not sure if you've ever described it or have a video on your gear. I have a hero 3 black and a hero 5 black but my videos are nowhere near as smooth (even with their stabilization on) and the wind noises is insane.
You should look into the Hero 7 or Hero 8 with the hypersmooth technology. The video stabilizing on the Hero 7 is really good, even better on the Hero 8 with its hypersmooth 2.0 !
Hey Jeff where are you riding at here?
I’m considering the mojo 4 and stumpy 27.5 idk which to go with
dw link vs horst link, horst link doesn't do anything better in these short travel application.
The sizing is still throwing me off.... size chart is the same between 3 and 4... but numbers-wise the Mojo 4 medium looks comparable in size to the Mojo 3 larger... with a wheelbase and reach even exceeding that of the Mojo 3 XL.
Man you make it seem so easy. That bike was super quiet?
Sooooo Quiet!
Not hearing that patented i9 'angry metallic insect swarm' freewheeling sound. Maybe alter mic address? Honestly digging these vids and your flow. Even though for now its all I can do to keep up mentally noting the highlites if I were in your place... Prang... Bail..auger... bail....gravity check.. endo, definit endo.. etc.
@@richardwilliams2042 Shhhh! There be Ibisis about.
Hi Jeff! Do you know the reason for the “2 calipers brakes” only? Thanx for all your content! Karel
out of curiosity why is Ibis coming out with a new model when they can't even keep some of their current models in stock like the ripmo or the ripmo af
Because they have different production lines.
Ask Chuck
Does anyone know what hemet that is👍🏽
This feels like i'm playing Temple Run !!!
Does anyone still riding this Mojos?
This is what I want to ride in my dream every night!
too heavy for a 34? Im 250 and full sending my bike with a 34 lmao. Poor fork! I ride a 2020 giant trance, if anyone wants to send me a 36...
Even at 200lbs I felt bad when he said that because I also have a 34 LOL. But Jeff rides wayyyy more aggressive than I do.
Yes but he rides properly, you’re quite big so there is no way that you are able to ride like a pro athlete

Too fat for a 34? You are not 240
