We use Van Beek Tripectate and use Blue Lyte Replenish for an electrolyte. I’ll mix the replenish with their milk 36 hrs or so before they typically start scouring. I’ve had good luck getting them to drink that electrolyte by themselves rather than tubing them. For persistent we treat with Tylan or Nuflor
Nice video Aaron
With scours me and my dad used Pepto Bismol the liquid. It seems it works better than the others
How far is the 10 acer that ya are renting from the farm....
Go time in the hilly southwest Wisconsin. You're getting really professional with your channel now Aaron. High tech production at its finest. Wherever we have a hill in our fields we have tons of rocks. Yours don't look so bad.
Good job all around the new land exciting. What did soil test come back as ?? Go from there. Corn 2 years in a row ?
We had a dry fertilizer planter for a short time close to 20 years ago. I do not remember the exact analysis. I do know we never put urea in the mix. AMS, potash, DAP or MAP, sometimes K-MAG and micros. On soybeans we would put some pelletized lime in the mix.
Don't worry all your video are good Just keep them coming
How much are bull calves going for right now?
Great video always enjoy hearing your father’s knowledge of farming
Nice to see the dirt flying. Hope you have a good spring planting.
Hi Aaron, Your mom did a good video
It is a good feeling getting the brush back. Seems like a fill time job. Hopefully, it dries out to get back into the fields.
First time ever I rode on a tillage equipment 🤣. Does a very nice job.
Heading out to the field for he first time in the spring is one of the best feelings a farmer can have.So many things to see, hear and smell!! Got to say one of the many things an old retired beatup farmer misses so much.Great sping viedo!! Thanks 😊.
Yes! It gets into the blood of a true farmer! Also the mixed feelings when harvesting is over. Somehow I just don’t want it to end.
I use 20 10 20 4 sulfer starter Fertilizer
Love the explanation of the different varieties.
When you show/use a piece of equipment some viewers might like a brief review of that item: It's features, what it does/purpose, etc. Just a thought/suggestion. Take the Turbo-Max for example. It has, what three sections; the discs, shanks, and rolling basket(?). What does all that do?
I really appreciate you guys conversing back and forth. Really a great way for us to watch. Thanks for sharing.
Love seeing River putting in a hard days work!
name the music that is in your video please!
The Swiss boys are great help. I can sit here and listen to your dad all day, full of knowledge. Thanks for sharing.
That Great Plaines Turbo Max looks like a very nice piece of equipment . Also makes good looking field preparation , all in one pass also .
Great job on the music in the background .
All the different angles makes watching very enjoyable .
Best one yet !
Keep up the good work . May this year be a good productive year .
Hope your adventure on the land you are leasing give some great returns .
Good Job!
Great drone footage.
I hope you are vaccinating the cows with ScourGuard. It is cheap insurance.
I always did no till when I was farming. I believe it really helps prevent erosion. What do you think about no till?
He should consider another direction.
Good looking cattle, I like the simple plan w/ your calves; they may have the runs but they do look healthy and you can tell there is a lot love for your animals because they like you guys even through you will be selling them; nature of farming business
Great video. Weather has improved here in the last couple of weeks. All the best 🇬🇧.
We apply a liquid 2x2 starter that consists of 4gal/ac 28-0-0, 4gal/ac 21-0-0-24S, and 2gal/ac 10-34-0. Also about 1qt/ac of Zn. All-in-all about 19.5 lb of actual nitrogen per acre.
Love this channel reminds me so much of our small farm back in central Indiana.love seeing the dirt fly and hoping you have a successful planting and spring season.Happy Mothers Day to Mrs Gierok and may all of you continue to be blessed.
thank you
Good Job on your 'calf raising theory'; agree 100%. You have to pay attention to all the tells and act quickly. Was wondering if your visitors will be introduced? Shall we call them 'Hans and Franz'? It would be nice to hear their take on Wisconsin farming?
with the calves , ventilation and No drafts is a rule I was always told , when they get scours it is and can be nasty as we all know
How about notill with your hilly landscape. Great video.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO aaron 😊
Aaron. Try a triple 19
Hi everyone. Any recommendations of others channels that are of the same quality as Geirok Farms, Larson Farms, Sonne Farms, Just a few Acres, Farmer Tyler Ranch, and Country view Acres???
I noticed from your drone shot, the hillside beside the pile would make a good silage bunker. I’ve seen this out west where a farmer will cut into the hillside making a bunker. Seems to me it would be safer making the pile.
Thanks for the update and seeing the cattle. Glad your cousins could come, Say hi to everyone. Mom too!
I wonder if it would be beneficial to run diagonally across the field?
How many horse power is the tractor.? How wide is the tiller?
Farming is the Fountain of Youth! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hey do you need someone to work with you ?
