Daaaaang… you killed it Riley! Congrats brother. Another great video with some absolutely astounding finds. You’ve had one heck of an EPIC year dude..! Your name came up in conversation about metal detecting over dinner with my 86 year old grandfather last night and I had to show him the pics of your first week in January. No doubt that week will go down in history and having grown up in Beaufort county S.C. (Hilton Head Island) makes it all the more awesome. Excited to see what the future brings to you bro. GL&HH
New subscriber here just watched you on quarter after with Jason and the crew so glad I found your Channel very cool God Bless and happy dirt fishin…Virgil
Hell yes Riley, amazing finds! Love that 30 pounder, and ball! Amazing shape they are in and incredible finds overall. In your final pics, out of all those musket balls, any of them pistol balls? I’m new to relic hunting and primarily a gold prospector but I live in Chattanooga now so I have no choice. Came across my first pistol ball the other day and not sure how rare they are? You would know. All the best!
Dude! I have soo many questions? Have you been to Byhalia or Chewalla Lake in Holly Springs? I'm from here, as well & would love to chat with you! Keep up the great work! I am now addicted because you are from my neck of the woods!
The bormann time fuses were punched by the artillerist at a certain time to explode after firing, and the countdown started when the fire from the cannon firing flew around the edges of the cannonball while inside the barrel of the cannon and lit the fuse. The westpoint fuses are percussion and had a slider inside with a percussion cap on the end. When the shell hit the ground the slider went forward detonating the percussion cap and then the shell itself

Hi Riley, I love history. I was born in Memphis 1958. We live a couple miles from where Dr. King was shot. What part of town are you from?

How did those fuses work?

Do you magnet fish too?
Yo riley i’ve been wondering what camera do you use? I have a Nikon L340 and it looks exactly like yours just wondering!
What state you hunt in
Depth in history mentioned you so I subbed
❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Is there a danger of the ball or shell exploding?
What do with items when you find them?
