I work outside of Thailand but I have a Thai girlfriend in Bangkok. I love Laab Moo with Sticky Rice and she knows it! She's always sending me photos of Laab Moo when she eats it teasing me. It's a joke between us. When I return I will ask her to make this for me.

Larb is my favorite dish ever! Only I love it with ground pork instead of chicken, although both are great. I always said if I were ever on death row, Thai Larb would be my choice for my last meal, LOL. Seriously, try it and you will LOVE it.

I like to add a bit of palm sugar, and then balance with lime juice. I have lemongrass, kaffir lime , green onion and mint growing in garden so I use those when I can. We love this dish!

Wonderful❤! But dear Marion, nobody in this day and age buys cookbooks! Believe me, I am such a cook fanatic, I joined a cookbook club in the USA in the 80’s, (What a scam😆)! When I moved to Japan, I had to either throw or giveaway over 300 books!
I came to Japan with my 100 top most treasured cookbook (a couple from South Africa, where I am from). I keep them mostly for sentimental reasons. Cookbooks like other books are not big sellers.

She's wonderful! I have some ground turkey on hand that I haven't really figured out what to do with; I imagine it's an easy swap to make here. I have the rest, so this might be on my menu for the week.
Edit: Yes. While I haven't eaten a lot of larb in my life to have a good baseline taste for it, I think it turned out quite nicely. Had it for dinner tonight. \m/
