    It was beautiful and Astro seemed to do very, very well. Don't feel bad about not filming the whole trip, you need you time too in order to enjoy yourself. Thank you for the video :)

    I am in Asheville, nc in a ptsd program. The blue ridge mountains are perfectly colored like the Appalachian mountains where I grew up. Astro looked like he had so much fun! Love your videos! Ps, bet you all are real sore. Lolol

    This is so cool! i actually went to shenandoah right before you posted the video, I went for a few hours on the meadow spring trail. so glad you guys experienced this too!

    just so you know for any future trips according to NPS's site for Shenandoah National Park, "Your pet must be on a physical leash no longer than 6 feet at all times." This isn't a park that just requires your dog to be under control but actually on leash.

      Thanks for the tip! He was leashed most of the time but when going downhill I had no choice but to unleash him! He was always leashed when we were passing others and unleashed when alone and stayed on trail at all times :)
