Test time: 1st Wednesday of the month at noon
    Enthusiasts present: Tommy (‪@buckeyenotifications‬)
For the first Wednesday of 2024, we decided to return to Station 50 since Tommy had yet to hear it from in front of the lean and I wanted to get a refresher on it. We were waiting for a sunny day to come back here, and despite the forecast formerly calling for overcast weather, it cleared up and ended up being the perfect sunny day I was hoping for. Anyway, they tested right on the dot this month, and this thing was insanely loud just as I had remembered (124.5 dBC on my meter). I set up in the grass right in front of the lean, and it overloaded almost all my mics, with the exception of the H1n, and it even managed to visibly rattle my Lumix and PowerShot on the wind-down! After refreshing my memory on this one, I'd say it ranks at 2nd place on my loudest 'bolts list, with the 6M 1000 in Marshall, MO still holding the top spot. I'm convinced this is the loudest 'bolt in the state, and I think it is definitely worth checking out for any enthusiasts near the area on a first Wednesday. Enjoy!
