This is rather interesting looking, Darley’s just keep getting weirder looking every time I see a new video of one. It sounds great, nice old 8 port at its finest.

I’ve always avoided going to sick thunderbolts but I’ve always wanted to see one at the same time because it’s different in real life than seeing anything on video. You’re like, “Wow, this thing sounds like shit”, but also gets oddly more intense every time thing lowers in pitch so it’s strange experience if I had to guess or just casual like any other siren just sounds different.

Oh nice, I live a block away from this siren! I actually have a decent video of the thunderbolt taken a few months before they replaced it, I've just never uploaded anything before. And yes, whoever is in charge of activating the siren is notoriously late at it nearly every month.

its definitely sick, but somehow it sounds better than the previous times.. weirdly.... also very strange it does manage to get up to full speed a few times 🤔 wonder what's wrong with it ? Silly shame they wont bother to maintain it. Nice clean clear video though! hopefully one day its saved :)

I have yet to go back to Atlantic but i messaged them in august about this bolt having rotator issues, then in September they said they have done work to some of the sirens around town so its probably fixed by now. Great video! Also they tested in November this year, so it might be April-Nov now.

I could see why this siren was indirectly replaced. I mean, it's not as bad as the one in Charloe, but it definitely sounds rough.
