It may be slow but the Stambecco always gets you to where you want to go. Unless it rolls over, or gets high centered. Those are the two main weaknesses that I've encountered. I've brought it through some very difficult trails on Johnson Valley that it has no right to be able to get through, but it does it. I truly love this vehicle and hope to see some similar classic military vehicles get added to the game in future.
Despite barely using it, the Stambecco is probably my favourite vehicle in the entire game. There's just something very charming to a massive, slow, offroad brick. Also, the interactive interior is just such a nice touch and iirc this was the first vehicle to have it. I still remember the engine being indestructible and that being fixed in a hotfix, lol. Plus, as an austrian, this thing makes me proud. Talking about the video, love the presentation style and editing involved!
The stambecco ist actually my favorite vehicle in beamNG since it came out, and the Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer, the vehicle its based on is actually my dream vehicle in Real Life! Thanks for making a video about this beautiful Vehicle!
I love the stambecco, ive always liked it. its so strong, good at offroading and can be tuned for road and offroad use. I got one tuned up to 100 mhp and a really good crawler. also the first 6 wheeled crawler or vehicle in the game (untill the gambler update) but that doesnt rlly count
I installed an automatic 5 speed transmission mod and man does it come to life, I also got a customizable engine mod and together with a 1.5x final drive and the longest transfer case I made a beast of a vehicle that looks like a massive flatbed truck. it has all the bells and whistles, and with 800 hp it still only suffered 1 or two km/L
The Stambecco was my favorite vehicle introduced in the Johnston Valley map. Remains a favorite to this day. There's just this romantic charm to it. My favorite config is to take the 505V2 ragtop diesel with the delightful coyote tan body and black ragtop, and give it an engine upgrade (stage 1 engine, stage 1 tubro), TMPS, and lights. There's a few fun mods on the repo, but my favorite is the twin fuel tanks for literally all the range. Still love the thing. You have to be patient with her, but she'll get you anywhere. Eventually. Main weaknesses are that it's very bouncy over deep rutty terrain, so you have to manage your speed carefully, and that it's eager to roll over if you don't approach steep slopes just right.
Yeah! In terms of off-roading, the Stambecco knows how to do it and especially do it well! Not so much in other areas though, especially if wanting to use it as a daily commute to the office heh heh 😅
I've actually managed to develop a strategy to get a stambecco to unflip itself if it ends up on its side. Awesome little brick, love the thing to bits.
I honestly do think the Stambecco is underrated, and the beamng devs wasted so much of its potential in 0.30 by not adding a gooseneck hitch, so that's why I added one.
I hid the sections of the vehicle I didn’t want to show within the parts menu and then bound ‘unhinge parts’ to a key while the Stambecco was in zero gravity! When the vehicle brakes apart the pieces float away. The rest is tinkering with the time curve in an editor :D
2:52 I'd rather have an inline 4, I absolutely hate how classic muscle cars, base model utility vehicles, and modern European luxury cars, all have the same sound.
Stam-bek-ko Keep in mind that "st" is pronounced as "st" in "stop," "am" is pronounced as "ahm," and "bek" sounds like "beck." The "ko" at the end is like "co" in "corn." So, it's "stam-bek-ko."
the sad part is, yes its slow, but its also under powered, its under powered in terms of climbing ability, and thats due to the portal hubs which are simulated, the problem is, they have the wrong gear ratio, with a few tweaks its a beast
if anyone is wondering why i say its under powered in climbing ability, i am referring to its ability to traverse very rocky trails, namely the fact i keep cooking clutches, this is because the portal hubs don't offer as much torque as they should
@@TalksWithNoise yea, but i know someone who does modding and they found the portal hubs are poorly geared... i think they were geared for a little more speed, cus you know, players like speed

Even then, it's considerably smaller than a midsize car, making it easy to fit it in small roads or parking spots. For the 6x6 it's another story

You are actually so underrated its crazy. I love the detail you put into your videos and your voice fits it so well.
Its my personal favourite non-vehicle in Beam it just has so many things you can do with it!
torquey little brick is the most accurate description of anything that ive heard in a while
If you tune the stambecco correctly, you can travel close to or maybe over 110mph vanilla. Would be a great idea for a race lol.
The stambecco made me buy a Pinzgauer IRL lol
i just enjoy driving the stambecco on roads. Its slow, but its fun af to me.
I like slow. I also love the V12 mod for this vehicle. Most of my driving is off-road.
Stambecco is definitely underrated
definetly one of my favorite vehicles in beamng!
You definitely need to make more videos similar to this on all of the other cars in beam.
Funfact puch is the company that builds g wagons
would be in top 3 vehicles for me if it has a more road based version, i dont even care about the speed just lower to the ground
It's one of my dream cars tbh. My dad used to have a Volvo C202 when I was young, which is a very similar vehicle
I honestly do think the Stambecco is underrated, and the beamng devs wasted so much of its potential in 0.30 by not adding a gooseneck hitch, so that's why I added one.

@@kornaros96 no idea, but it never stopped me!
its one of the best vehicles for bumperpulls, and with the gooseneck hitch for stambecco mod, goosenecks aswell.

That is right. Stambecco is really underrated.
if i am correct stambeco has Tatra frame thingy
stambecco has great handling on road, reat handling off road, plenty of power (with diesel engine only) and is very durable
yes i do too love it especially when you make it the Autobello Stancebecco
All about the Bruckell Bastrion next.
When looking at a stambecco, I can only think of a loaf of bread.
