Hi, I work out songs by ear. Obviously I write it down in the form of tablature but the “working it out makes me a better player” I didn’t have the isolated bass when learning this song but I managed to do it. I encourage you to work at it, I promise it will make the process of figuring songs out that much easier. Take it step by step. Seek out applications that will benefit you....ahem amazing slow downer. Cheers
