    They fell in love and said they were soulmates. He sent her flowers for every opening she had. When they didn't come the day he died she knew something was wrong.

    Love this song thanks for another great reaction elvis and Ann Margaret fell in love while making this movie, he wanted to marry her elvis wanted her to be a housewife and be at home but Ann Margaret wasn't going to give up her career to be a stay at home wife.so they ended their affair but remained friends until the day he died, elvis also sent her a bouquet of roses every year when she would have opening night .. and she was performing the day elvis died and when she didn't get a bouquet of roses that night shd knew something was wrong with elvis

    Elvis and Ann remained friends for the rest of his life. Steve Martin tells an interesting story about meeting him when the former was opening up for Ann in Vegas and Elvis came to see her show. The clip of Steve talking about their encounter is well worth watching.

    I watched this movie just this morning on Circle TV. They’re showing a handful of his movies this week. IMO this was one of his best comedies because their chemistry was so great.

    I love this cheeky song. It was one of the most sought after for years and years and was bootlegged many times. Sadly, it was never officially released until well after Elvis' death due to copyright issues and Ms Margarete's lawyers. Great reaction.

    I am late to the party for this reaction but your eyes got so big watching this video. I could tell you were into it. 1960s dynamics between men and women were really different. It's a great duet with dueling verses.Ann-Margret herself was a huge star and the only female love interest who got equal billing as Elvis. Only Elvis had enough game to be that confident in the face of her playing hard to get. In fact, they did have a true love affair. Until his death, Elvis sent her flowers before everyone of her big shows.

    It was an instant connection when they met on the set of this movie. They had a 2 year affair. Then he married Priscilla and she also got married the same year. But he sent her a guitar shaped flower arrangement when she opened in Las Vegas. But she knew something was wrong when she didn’t receive her flowers in 1977. Then she received the terrible news that he had passed away.

      There was also obvious Chemistry Between Elvis and Michelle Carey and Susan Henning and I thought Elvis and Tuesday Weld looked good together

    first 3 movies were great.. james Dean, Marlon Brando type acting. they wanted him singing in all the movies. that was the end of continuing toward acting dreams.I have to admit, I would have wanted to hear him sing something no matter how good a script he had.. All his fans wanted that too. So we may be partly to blame.

    These were the sort of Hollywood type casting, that compounded his melancholy. Don't get me wrong, his delivery is as always 100% spot on, funny and charming. But boy, did he hate being trapped doing these vanilla movies. 🥃👍

      I would have been in 7th heaven had I been in his shoes. Admired by all the women, for one thing. Starring with the likes of Ann Margaret. Rolling in the dough. But he held it together. Later the drugs f*ked up his life.

    Ann Margaret was called the "Female Elvis". Both can sing, dance, act, & oozed sexuality. Elvis had both Priscilla & Ann Margaret COMPETING for his love 🥰. Just TWO REASONS Elvis is THE KING!

      @NicholasRamos Месяц назад

      @britishted7811 Yes, Ann Margaret was called "the female Elvis." Personally, I have never heard of Janis Martin. If Martin was ALSO called the "female Elvis," then there were TWO women called, "the female Elvis." Regardless, Ann Margaret WAS CALLED, "the female Elvis." I recommend you Google, "who described Ann Margaret as "the female Elvis," and you will find articles & RUclips videos that support my claim and comment. Thank you.

    I like your reactions. But YT may give you some trouble. You might have to reduce the size of your clips and/or obscure them. Also, you have to pause it a time or two --not run a clip all the way through. You'll have to make comments when you pause.

    • @brandyreacts
      @brandyreacts  2 года назад +1

      thank you. and I will start pausing on some videos but some people enjoy watching the clip full out, but i appreciate the constructive criticism I didn't have the right equipment at first.

    Funny that you have Elvis and ego together, because even though he played one in the movie, he was one of the most insecure people in show business. He never thought he was going to last, he never thought he would be remembered, he never thought he was handsome, he never thought he had a good voice. This information comes from wife Priscille, pal Charlie Hodge and road manager, Joe Esposito. Thanks.

    • @matrix5000100
      @matrix5000100 2 года назад

      @Betsy Jonex: That's because Elvis was very religious. it was a sin for elvis to see himself as something special. elvis was firmly convinced that he only got the wealth and talent from god so that he could make other people happy!

  • @a2jc234
    @a2jc234 6 месяцев назад

    Too hot for that suit and yes it probably was being shot on location in Las Vegas. I still say that Elvis would have been a better Tony in Westside Story and would have killed it in True Grit but even his cookie cutter movies most were at least entertaining which is more than can be said for films nowadays.

  • @kentclark6420
    @kentclark6420 11 дней назад

    She does want him. It's just a cat and mouse game she's playing with Elvis. Back in those days, women played hard-to-get so as not to appear easy to get. Now days it might be considered contributing to sexual harassment.
